I should have read the reviews zero stars…read more I made an appointment to drop my 2024 Grand Design travel trailer off on March 31 at Camping World in Sturtevant, WI to have the wheel bearings repacked and slide out maintenance. The cost for the bearing repack was $369.17. I thought this would be pretty straightforward. 10 days later they let me know the work was complete and I picked up the trailer. After a 1 hour drive to get home with horrible gas mileage I noticed two of the metal grease caps had fallen off while I was checking the tire pressure. My tires were under inflated by 20 psi each. I called the store and made another appointment to get the caps fixed. I was told replacing the grease caps was not included in the maintenance that had been done and I would have to pay for new grease caps to be installed. I was told the caps would be ordered and I would get a call when they were in. In the meantime we took a short 1 hour trip in the travel trailer and the other caps fell off. We took the travel trailer to the dealership on May 10, 2026 as it was on our way home and were told the parts had not yet been ordered but they would get on it. During the interaction the counter personnel implied that the caps were known to be defective, that they couldn't get the original caps anymore and they had no caps on hand at the service center. None of that was communicated to us at the time of service. They stated once again they would order caps and call me when they were in stock. At this point it was a month since I had first picked up the trailer and let them know the caps were falling off. I called the dealership again on the 12th to check and was told the caps had been ordered, they were expecting them and we could have the caps installed on May15th. I talked to an ASE certified mechanic friend who chuckled and told me there was nothing special about the caps and I could pick them up from any automotive store or get them on Amazon, so I ordered 4 caps and got them the next day so I would have a set if I needed them. I took the trailer in for my appointment. I was told to park it and they would get to it the following week because the parts were still not in. I showed them my caps and asked them to install them. I was told they did not have the time and I would have to leave the trailer again. Note, it is a 1 hour drive from home each way with gas prices what they are right now. I asked for a manager and was told no one was available. At this point I had had enough. I took the trailer home, remove the tires and replaced the caps myself, which I should have done in the first place. On Saturday the 16th I got a call from the operations director apologizing for the miscommunication and she told me she would personally order new caps. I told her I was surprised as I had been told repeatedly that the caps had been ordered already and I was supposed to have had the caps replaced Friday but due to the parts not being in and no maintenance person available I was supposed to wait until Tuesday to pick it up with the new caps, but I took it back home and did it myself. Thankfully I have learned my lesson not to use Camping World for service. We were planning a trip to Yellowstone and no longer had time to waste on Camping Worlds' shenanigans. Lessons learned: 1. Bearing service is offered but they don't have any spare parts on hand. 2. You won't get a call back when promised. 3. They will lie to you about ordering parts.

He was clearly having a rough day but it happens! Special order will arrive in 3 days and I am excited to see it! Pricing is comparable but stock is limited as there's soooo many options for camping equipment! They have a membership deal which is attractive but I don't think it would make sense for me at this time.

The sales…read moreprocess was handled through Christopher Albert, Sales Professional at Campers Inn RV of Richfield, WI. Unfortunately, my experience following the purchase has been overwhelmingly disappointing. Within the second week of ownership, I began experiencing multiple issues with the camper. Although a new water heater tank had been installed prior to purchase, I notified Chris on August 29, 2025, that the stove pilot light was not working, the propane tanks were not functioning, and the air conditioning and regulator were also problematic. He indicated that he was waiting to hear back from Davenport and would help resolve the concerns. On September 8, 2025, Chris relayed information that was inaccurate regarding the stove's operation, stating it required manual ignition with a long lighter. After reviewing the official operational video for this model, it was clear that I had been misinformed about how the stove and oven functions. My son also informed him that the stove's ignite switch was not operating correctly. Shortly after, the newly installed water heater tank failed, requiring replacement of the motherboard at a cost of approximately $500. Communication between myself, Farhood Bait, Service Manager at Campers Inn Davenport, and Christopher Albert became increasingly unproductive. Chris repeatedly told me he was attempting to resolve the issue, while Farhood stated that once the camper was released to Chris, Davenport was no longer responsible for the water heater. During this time, my son had to go without hot water for an entire month. On August 29, Chris also informed me that he still had not heard back from Davenport. He stated that Davenport had invested nearly $5,000 into the camper before and after my purchase, and that my service contract should cover the repairs. I explained that I had already paid over $1,892 for the initial inspection and orientation, in addition to ongoing monthly payments for the service contract and did not feel it was reasonable to file a claim on issues that arose immediately after purchase--especially with a "new" water heater tank that had just been installed. Despite Chris servicing the propane tanks, regulator, and A/C, the propane system still does not function for the water heater. On October 17, 2025, I requested the purchase receipt for the water heater. Despite multiple attempts, I was only provided the installation service record, which listed the replacement and installation cost as $1,727.87. When I spoke with the service manager, they refused to take responsibility or stand behind their work, leaving us no choice but to seek service elsewhere. Eventually, both parties stopped responding. Overall, the service experience has been unacceptable. Since the day of purchase, the camper has spent more time being discussed or repaired than enjoyed. As a first-time camper owner, at this point, I deeply regret the purchase. We have been highly dissatisfied with our experience with Campers Inn RV of Davenport and Campers Inn RV of Richfield, WI. Based on our ongoing issues, lack of accountability, and poor service, I strongly recommend that anyone considering purchasing from Campers Inn RV of Davenport or Campers Inn RV of Richfield--don't.

Went back Tuesday and at first the lady said they didn't have any cars that matched mine but on Sunday there were at least 7 different cars, then she looked and gave me 2 cars to look at. When I asked about the one from sunday and I was told they threw it away...why. if your throwing money away then they might as well give it to me for free...the lady found it in the garbage but I had to go back and get the side pieces and then they charged me $47 for the part, when I could of gotten it for $24.25 on Sunday. I called and the lady was rude, tried arguing with my wife, and was clearly lying about the price. She kept insisting the climate control and bezzle was 2 different pieces so I was charged $35 for climate control and $10 for the bezzle but the kicker is that in my truck its all 1 piece and if they were separate, it would be broken, so make that make sense. They will scam you when they can then argue with you about the price. Bad business.
