Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. The woman was incredibly rude to my husband and I. I scheduled an in person consultation and she cracked the door open an inch to dismiss us. And she told me I need to "call" for consultation. I explained that I tried calling but the number was not working it just beeps, never rang or went to voicemail. I also had an in person consult which I never received. They kept my deposit even though they never gave me a proper consultation. I booked online with my phone number and the person I spoke to sent me text messages talking down to me. Saying that i don't know how to read and that I can't afford their cakes. They were charging me $375 for a single tier cake to feed 25 -30 people. Online price says 25-30 starting at $150. She gave me an outrageous price because no one in their right mind would pay that much money. She wanted to keep my deposit from the get go. Untrustworthy establishment. Stay away from these people. Cannolis are really good! Ordered delivery via Doordash. Note that any Yelp coupons are only valid for in person or Yelp (Grubhub) online ordering. Cannoli (3 for $16.99, +$2 for candied orange topping). You can choose from many different fillings and toppings for them to dip the ends in. I chose the regular ricotta filling (for my Italian hubby's bday treat), and candied orange topping, since we typically put candied citron and orange oil in our filling. Shells are as good as we make at home, which is quite a compliment. Crisp and light, with the perfect thickness and frying. Ricotta filling was a tad over whipped and could have used some cinnamon (and the citron+orange oil, but that's asking for a lot). They may have used confectionary sugar instead of granulated sugar in the filling, which changes the texture a bit when compared to traditional cannolis. Candied oranges were good but should have been cut into smaller pieces. But for the area, these are fantastic! I originally rated as 4 stars, but I'm bumping up to 4.5 stars, because cannolis are a huge time commitment to make, and getting anything that resembles a good cannoli is actually quite difficult to find (even in New York where we spent quite a bit of time). A tad on the pricey side, but worth it. Thanks for making the hubby's surprise bday treat a good one! read more
