Good bakery located right across from In n Out and Dunkin Donut. 4/5 Pan It's good but the concha felt a bit hard. Didn't try any bolillo this time as I was just filling a sweet tooth need. The elotes were good as well. 5/5 Service Paid in cash, it was very warm inside. It wasn't a hot day, I can only imagine how it is on a hot SGV day. 4/5 Parking Smaller lot with neighboring businesses. Came in for bolillo and was so delighted by ALL the sweet bread that had to take some pan dulce as well. Service: was quick and friendly Ambiance: your typical bakery with a ton of bread to select from. Both mini and large bolillo available. So, I have to say, I really enjoyed the variety of Mexican bread they have. Umm, and they also make miniatures of a lot of the different breads, which is really good. So, if you want, you know, a mini concha or even a mini roll, they have that too. So, that was really cool. The bread was good. I would give it a solid B. It wasn't anything to write home about, but it was good. Definitely better than average, better than you're going to find at a grocery store or most bakeries. So, I mean, it's hard to find good Mexican bread. However, this is definitely a place I'd go back to. read more

Bread is delicious I'm not going to lie.!I've placed orders for dental receptionist and this would be the last time. I recommend to stop and get coffee and a warm pan Dulce. If you put an order expect something to go wrong bread over done (close to burn) or not what you ordered. I placed an order of 100 pc was given the box and sent on my merry way. I opt to open box to review since my bread was to toasty lat time. I was missing 50 pcs. Guy looked everywhere. Offered to give me what was on the trays. They didn't have 50 of what I ordered. No apology just here's your refund.... Meanwhile I'm short pastries for my function. Never again read more

Don't sleep on this one, the pan dulce is delicious. They have cute little mini size ones too. Also I am super picky about bolillos (what can I say, grandpa was a baker), and theirs are on point. Both the gentleman and lady that were working the day I went were super nice and helpful. I didn't try them, but they also sell sandwiches in the am. They looked like they had lettuce, tomato, jalapeño and queso fresco. Maybe next time I go I'll try one, but for sure the pan is a winner here! read more

Stopped by this place on the way to work and omg!!!!! Perfect little Panaderia Walking in they have racks upon racks of fresh pan dulce from mini to full size. Their prices are really good, I got about 8 pastries with 1 tamale for under $8. Their conchitas are so fluffy and soft and sorry for the bad picture of the tamale I had already started eating it because it was so good! read more

Compramos un pastel y nos lo dieron haci. Al abrirlo de la caja se estaba callendo, al partir el pastel se sentía duro y crudo. Lo repartimos y tuvimos que quitarle el pastel a todos los invitados porque estaba crudo . Hablamos y led dijimos y nomás nos dijieron que harían un reporte. This our neighborhood Mexican bakery with a huge variety of pan dulce. I just love the mini park dulce they are so cute but delicious as well. We also got regular size concha's and they were so delicious so soft and fluffy! If you're looking for mini concha's or regular concha's this is your place. They offer other items like breakfast food, coffee, even cakes. It's located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. Definitely worth checking out for yummy pan dulce, Mexican pastries. read more

I think this might be the best panaderia in Baldwin Park! When you come in, the first you see is a big variety of pan dulces to pick from, warm & fresh! The bolillos from here were so fluffy and delicious. I picked about 9 pieces of minis and about 11 bolillos for $9.40, so they have good prices. read more

My one year old and I love chocolate conchas, so my husband went around 7pm to purchase some today (Sunday), unfortunately they were all out and the man working today mentioned they were all out but they had a few small bags from previous day. My husband thought, well they shouldn't be that bad, they are only one day old. Boy was he wrong, hard as a rock and my husband bought 2 croissants in addition and does were also hard. I called to let them know and the man that answered was pretty rude and mentioned that the bread was a day old and that's as all they had left. (This is NOT Okay!) I honestly didn't think a bakery would sell bread in this condition, or at least they store it correctly in order to sell quality bread. Disappointed that he didn't care to fix this issue, I was willing to take it all pack and get a fresh one for the next day, but he didn't even bother to offer that. Not going back and will not be referring this inadequate business to anyone. **only gave them 1 star because it requires me to submit but the quality of bread deserves 0!!! read more

the bread was hard as a rock although they claim is freshly made. I paid $10 for two big conchas, three small ones and one empanada that's a fucking RIP OFF considering the fact that they were stale and hard. The lady in the register is rude as fuck and always has an attitude. Oh and the empanada had a funky taste. Never coming back. Go to Panadería La ilusión in HacienDa Heights instead, the lady there is nice and they have amazing bread. Too bad I wasn't around the area earlier or else I wouldn't have to go here. read more

Located in a busy strip plaza with various latin stores is Panaderia la Mexicana, while a friend browsed through the music store next door the wife and I hit up the panaderia to see what they had to offer, as you can see from the storefront photo it was later in the evening so selection-variety was limited. If you love pan dulce you must definitely give this place a try. They have an amazing selection of pan dulce in not only the full size but the mini size too which is great if you are taking some to share with your co-workers or if you're hosting a breakfast. They open early and have freshly baked pan throughout the day. The minute you walk through the door you get hit by the sweet smell of bread baking which is simply wonderful and makes you want to pig out at that moment. The sweetness of the pan dulce is addicting especially paired with coffee, hot chocolate, or cold milk which you will also find here. The staff is also super friendly and they make you feel like you're at home. I found this panaderia on a whim here on Yelp! The reviews were convincing so I tried it out! The only thing I didn't particularly like was that no one was there to greet, he only came out when I was ready to pay. Other than that, the pan was DELICIOUS! So fresh & so soft! My dad is VERY picky with the bread and he absolutely loved it! I don't come to Baldwin park often but now I will have to make it a trip every time I visit my in-laws! Try try try it! Decent tasting pan mexicano but the young lady behind the counter didn't impress me She put the soft bread at the bottom and then proceeds to toss the other bread and cookies in the bag - I don't know about anyone else, but I don't appreciate broken cookies or smashed bread. Ok this by far has been my favorite panaderia! After visiting more than 5 panaderias, this place has the best tasting and looking pastries. They have miniature sized concha, roscas, empanadas, puerquitos, and more! Extremely cute, large variety to choose from and decent prices. Their concha is firm and soft unlike other conchas where when you press on it and it sinks down as if it's empty. Highly recommended, I drive 25 mins just for conchas! read more

Great pan, great prices! Staff that I spoke to were friendly. 1 star off though for the girl at the counter not knowing how to bag the bread. You don't put the small items at the bottom to be crushed by the bigger, heavier breads. My bf had to tell her to re-pack it. read more

Aside from their wide selection of pastries and food options, their customer service was phenomenal. Every customer that walked through the door was greeted upon arrival and thanked on their way out. The restaurant was very clean and the cakes looked so beautiful behind the glass case.
