Pastries and desserts are good and standard across all PB locations. Ample parking which is a plus. However the negative review pertains to the ineffective management and poor customer service. It's better to come in during the morning because by afternoon, there is a good chance you will see a fly in the glass casing touching all the pastries. Yikes! It's happened on multiple instances. Also, employees do not use gloves when handling pastries whether that be from putting your pastries in bags at checkout, warming it up for you, or bagging individual pastries to be put on shelves. No gloves used. Now for the poor customer service and management.. I believe the unprofessional customer service stems from untrained management as employees are often frazzled and seem clueless on effective time management. If there's more than 2 customers in line, employees suddenly don't know what to do. They go from taking an order to ignoring the next customer in line to go make drinks for 5 minutes then come back. Then while waiting for drinks, people who ordered drinks after me got theirs first. I want to call out two specific employees (1 male with ear piercings and 1 female) on Sunday morning 04/26/26. There was no one else behind me as I ordered 2 drinks one being a frappe. They were conversing the whole time which I don't mind but it hindered and slowed down the timing in making my drinks. While the girl was making my frappe and pouring it in the cup, she STOPPED AND PAUSED TO CONTINUE HER CONVERSATION. while we were standing there just waiting. It's just extremely unprofessional. I'm going to leave an honest review. They are overly stingy with shopping bags and to-go boxes. They stack the bread so much that it gets crushed, and when I asked for a bag, they said they didn't have any. The service is also very slow. The taste of the bread is still the same, though. read more

This location of Paris Baguette is the closest one for us. We came by to redeem some free pastries with any purchase for signing up on the PB app. The location is right across Cafe 86. There's street and garage parking for customers. Plenty of tables at this location inside and outside. The location could so use maintenance as some unoccupied tables were still dirty. Staff and service were fine. The pastry selection had unique options I did not see at the San Gabriel one. We got a Chai and Matcha Latte and a Dubai Chocolate mochi donut & Salted Caramel Pretzel Supreme Croissant. The drinks were solid and pretty standard. The pastries though were GOOD! The Dubai Mochi one is worth trying. That Salted Caramel Pretzel Supreme Croissant was insanely good! I loved the textures and crispiness from the first bites. It's also cream filled with custard. Convenient to get snacks before or after watching a movie at the theater nearby. The employee was courteous. This cozy and aromatic bakery-cafe has indoor and outdoor seating options. I really needed some caffeine and asked my partner to get something from here while we were at a nearby Halloween festival. He bought an iced caramel latte half sweet and brought me a straw which looked a bit funny. The drink was really good, still pretty sweet with slight bitterness. Unfortunately the straw was awful, I didn't know there were holes in it until I tested it afterwards and the hole was near the bottom and middle. My new obsession. PB is an awesome cafe that offers so many sweet and savory treats. I had gotten the strawberry chocolate chip pastry.... I went back the next day to get another one. I also ordered the Peppermint Mocha latte and that was delicious. Some staff members do seem like they are unsure of the menu or say "no" if they don't know the answer to a question (like if they have butter or honey), while the very kind manager is happy to help. So, came in here today to grab a quick treat and coffee before heading to our movie. Pain au chocolate never disappoints. Unfortunately, that's the only highlight of the experience today. I let them know I'm still waiting for my order. This is where I'm met with apathy and dreaded "Gen Z stare" . Again, grace and patience being granted on my part. And you look at me like I'm a burden to your day. SMH When they finally give me the Americano, I tell them the order is wrong as the milk is missing and hand it back so they can add it. I like this place. The place is clean cut and well-decorated. Located at the base of an apartment complex, it has plenty of grab on the go options which makes it a good choice when I gotta catch a movie and I'm low on time. You start by grabbing a tray and a set of tongs and then you choose the pastries you want from several cases. I visited PB twice this week and there are many tempting pastries on display in the aisles and drinks on the menu. I casually walked in looking only to try a baguette sandwich. Then I noticed the sweet aromas of baked goods and exotic coffee beans brewing. The pastries that were displayed at my eye-level looked especially appealing and were too hard to resist. So, I bought two pastries, a regular latte and the ham and cheese baguette sandwich. The sandwich was delicious and fresh. It's filling and can easily be split in half with someone. I took the pastries home, and later (when no one was looking) I gobbled them up like the Gollum Smeagol. Each bite was precious! ha-ha The regular latte was okay.....next time I will be more caffeine risky and try one of the other creative coffee drink options. The service was friendly, and my order was served timely. The take home packaging is a nice added feature. PB has comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Whenever you want a spongy & decadent cake Paris Baguette should be your spot! I love getting cakes from any of their locations. We came by this week to this location and had a lovely experience. They had plenty of cake options available and we took home the chocolate chiffon cake. This cake wasn't overly sweet, it had little chocolate crystals inside and everyone loved it. The young lady behind the counter offered us candles to go along with the cake. I love the effort they put into their packaging. The cake knife comes with two matches which is perfect. Visited this location on Jan 6th, 2025 in the morning to purchase a soft cream strawberry cake. When the cashier took it out I noticed that all the strawberries were old and you can tell it's not fresh at all. The cashier agreed with me wanted to check if they had fresh batch of strawberries in the back to switch it out for me. Unfortunately there weren't any. I was told that a fresh delivery of cakes would be in the afternoon. I had no choice but to buy a cake because it was my husband's birthday. Took home the cake and had to remove all the strawberries on top. I've never had such terrible experience at PB. Don't ever go to this place. They do not let you use the restroom until you fully make a purchase, and to make it worse, they don't even hold your items. They actually make you take your food into the restroom with you -- absolutely disgusting. My daughter needed to use the bathroom and I was already planning to buy something, but they refused to let her go until I paid first. The staff completely forced the purchase before allowing restroom access. No wonder I never went to this place before -- it was my first time stopping by, and after this incident, I'll make sure to never ever return. Came in on Friday night. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable. The strawberrybsoft cream cake slice was super soft, super fresh ! Parking was easy. There were slots in front of the bakery, but during the day, it may get busier. I totally loved the vibe! The outside patio is so chill. This location is honestly disappointing. The employees are rude even when you're friendly, and I've given them plenty of chances to improve. Every time I walk in, I leave frustrated. I order ahead through the app and somehow they never receive it, then blame it on the system instead of taking accountability. This morning, they had "sold out" signs on almost every coffee option. chill spot across the street from west covina mall!! i've always had a good experience with paris baguettes inside malls and shopping centers, but this standalone location is my favorite. the shop has a quiet and pleasant atmosphere and on-task employees. i personally witnessed them restocking items the minute their sign's best by time had passed. the blueberry-lavender matcha is a new addition to their menu and was absolutely divine. i'm pretty sure i finished it in less than five minutes. both the lavender and blueberry flavors shined through the creamy cup. the strawberry shortcake macaron was VERY good but on the smaller side for sure. one note i'll say though is that right after i ordered a digital screen flashed a seasonal dubai chocolate matcha they were selling and i wish i had at least known about it before finishing up my order. likely a franchise-wide thing tho ofc. read more

I am a frequent customer and usually enjoy this store, but today was a massive disappointment. ​I purchased a cake and several pastries specifically to gift to my son's bus driver and special education aide. They work so hard for children with special needs, and I wanted them to feel special, so it was important to me that the treats were sanitary and looked presentable. ​When I politely asked for the pastries to be boxed individually, the cashier became visibly annoyed, complaining that it was "a lot of boxes." When I suggested sandwich containers instead, she became even ruder. Her handling of the food was completely unacceptable; at one point, the plastic container fell directly onto the bread, and she didn't even care. I actually had to tell her to be careful and look at what she was doing. ​If there is a policy for extra packaging fees, I would have happily paid; there was no reason to treat a customer like a burden or be so reckless with the food. To make matters worse, I called to speak with a manager, and the same woman answered. She refused to transfer me, wouldn't give her name, and rudely said she was "busy" before hanging up. Walk over to the counter the two males behind the counter barely make eye contact, we order two slices of cake, two coffees. $19.50 nice price! We have a seat, the two coffees are called out I go get them, my sister asks where is the creamer? The attendant placed the "half n half" on the counter I retrieve it .. he comes to our table and waits till we finish using the creamer then takes it back (odd). My sister says do we wait to be called for order? Or will you bring it to our table? He begins to say, you get a tray and pick and choose what you want then bring it to the counter for checkout. Ummm... He just rang up our order for two slices of cake?? My sister says oh, how do we get our own cake I didn't see a door on the cabinet? He abruptly replied - I'll call your order when it's ready and walks away. (Eek!) Later, we needed the key to the restroom, same bearded attendent says I'll go get it. Like, we are bothering him.
