I'm sharing my recent experience because it was really disappointing. The service has noticeably declined. In January 2026, they picked up two boxes from my home in US but neither was shipped out for nearly two weeks. Worse, the boxes were split--sent to different locations and arrived at different times. One box finally reached the Philippines in early April, but the second one still hasn't arrived at its destination city. I'm now returning to the U.S., after my vacation and the box has not arrived yet. Honestly, this level of inconsistency and lack of follow-through makes me question if I'll ever use them again. We choose to use LBC from time to time because when we use their service the boxes tend to arrive at their destination much faster than if we use the competition. Customer service is hit and miss. Super frustrating this branch, I always booked pick up package for air-cargo and sea cargo. This is so frustrating na mag book ka tapos d darating yung mag pick up no call at all i tried to call them 3x na wala pa din wala na kong nagawa the whole day kaka intay sa kanila. Pero pag ako ung na late dahil d sila dumadating on time for pick up they will never wait for you even 1 -5 mins. I had the worst experience at this branch yesterday, April 18. I walked into the branch at 4:57 PM, with the intention of sending an item via Air cargo, along with purchasing a couple balikbayan boxes. Immediately after walking in, this man who was working the register yelled "We're closed!". Being that I've worked retail for over 5 years, I understood that they probably want to head home early, so I asked if I can just quickly purchase boxes. I was met with silence (which I took as a yes). After he was done helping out one customer, I approached the register to pay for the boxes. I asked about their business hours on weekdays while I was checking out. He answered, with such a horrid attitude. I let slide, and just casually answered "Ay, hindi PO ako aabot, I get off work ng 6PM." I was very mindful of my tone and manner, and since this person is older, I made sure I used the standard PO and OPO while speaking to him. To my surprise, In the most demeaning and condescending tone he answered, "HINDI KO NA PROBLEMA YAN. DI KO MASUSULUSYUNAN ANG PROBLEMA MO!". At that point I'd had enough and answered told him off for being rude, in which case he tried to backtrack and said, "Binibiro lang kita. Nagagandahan nga ako sayo (like this should excuse his nastiness)". This type of attitude has left a bad taste in my mouth, and has no place anywhere in this company (or anywhere really, for that matter). Take your business elsewhere, this man (who I unfortunately don't know his name) here is so entitled he thinks he can freely disrespect customers that keep their company afloat. read more

Air conditioners, computers, fax machines, and stereos are supposed to be taxed per unit but I don't think that happened when we sent the fax machine. I don't know what the initials mean but I liked to look at the map when I went here. I learned that if you send more than a dozen of something, it's considered a commercial quantity. I think they ship sea cargo on Wednesdays. I'm familiar with this location because one of my father's friends used to work for this cargo service. Its not clear if you can use the courier services through contractors/franchisees in Madrid and Saipan too. Like most delivery companies, items that are corrosive, dangerous when wet, or flammable [acid, aerosols, and nail polish remover] are prohibited. Their insurance will cover up to $500 if that's the declared value for air cargo. Located on the second floor, this branch does door-to-door remittance. You can do bank deposits in the Philippines through them or have it transmitted to someone's ATM card (means they can withdraw it in 15 seconds instead of having to cash a check). read more

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Came in today to inquire about doing a bank transfer as I had never done one with their company before. Staff at the desk counter were uninterested, did not tell us upfront who could and couldn't be sent transfers (which would have saved us a lot of time), and were incredibly rude. We decided to go to a different company and left. After we walked out, I realized I left my wallet on their table so when I went back inside to get it I could hear one of the girls say something rude in Tagalog about me leaving my stuff. FYI, just because we spoke English while inside the store, doesn't mean we can't understand and speak the language. Learn to respect your customers and provide better service. I set up online a scheduled pick up about 9-10 days in advance as this was the first available date. I figured due to covid 19 maybe things are just moving a bit slower so can't blame anyone for that. My reason for the 1 star (should be zero) is that on the actual day of pick up between 10am- 2pm nobody showed up. I called customer service and spoke to 3 different reps who are all based in the Philippines, each one literally could care less and just said they will "coordinate" with their team in California. They had all my info but nobody ever called me and they never picked up my box. I went with Atlas Shipping in Long Beach two days later since it they only needed a 48 hour notice prior to pick up. Their driver showed up 5 minutes before the scheduled pick up and called me to see if I was available and I said yes, he then said great I'm at the front of your house now. Sent my important documents through LBC on May 26, was given a tracking number, then was told that it will be going out May 29 because of the Memorial Day. I checked the tracking on June 1. Nothing on tracking except that the package was received on May 26. When I called the Cerritos office, was told that I should check the tracking after 7 days.
