Nobody and I mean NOBODY ever answers the phone calls! I just have few questions before I purchase some products to ship just to double check with them so I don't waste my money on something I can't ship, but nobody ever answers the calls. The lady staffs are okay, but never mentioned about branch pick up when I went the first time. Being my first time that time the man employee was also mean and bossy that humiliated me in front of the other customers. Also that time, I didn't know that Im supposed to show them what's inside my box for aircargo and to leave it open for them to check when the guy rudely explained it to me causing me to be humiliated. I also wanted to send another box and buy a box from them because one product of mine doesnt fit on the box I bought but the guy employee didnt sell me a box saying its just a waste of money because the box will be too big, acting that hes the boss. "what if the item I need to ship needs to be ship ASAP? and what if I careless if I waste money?" The only reason I give 1 star is for the fast shipment and it gets to where my package need to be. They are very professional and they take care of my stuff, I frequently send boxes to my relatives and this Cerritos branch is just amazing. They entertain customers like families, and even give you tips on what can be sent or not. They give advice on how to send packages the proper way and the most convenient way in sending anything to the Philippines. Transaction is always fast and easy. I disagree to some negative comments here, because they were never rude to me since day one. They are just being professional when it comes to hard headed customers who are trying to hide or send something that is not allowed and are not being declared. read more

If you want your boxes picked up, don't use LBC. First their time frame for pick is 0900-1300 so you have to wait for 4 hours which is ridiculous but the worse thing they do is after waiting for 4 hours and there is nobody getting your boxes. Since working night shift i got to go to work with not much sleep. This company sucks. read more

Shortly after drop off (about a week), I received a call stating the box would arrive on Sept. 9th. According to their website tracking, their vessel did not depart until Sept. 15th. Supposedly, the estimated arrival was Sept. 18th and the box would be out for shipment Oct. 2nd. The website was then updated to to say "Oct. 22nd-New estimated Arrival Manila International Port" WHAT? I don't think this box will ever arrive. It's been 2 months, this place is a joke. I received a coupon from LBC last 2 weeks ago about 100% free remittance service & apparently the lady whose been working their has no idea about this coupon. She said she can give me a free service of anything but not remittance just a courtesy of being a loyal customer. Although the coupon clearly stated about the free remittance service. In addition, she is willing to give me a free service for anything which is more expensive than remittance. I think she should check it first before giving wrong information. Yes, remittance charge is not that much of a deal, but they trying to scam their customer by sending invalid coupon or maybe that clerk needs extra training. My Wife wanted to send a Box to her children in the Philippines for Christmas. She was willing to pay the ridiculous $200 dollar Air freight charge so that It can get there in time. Prior to shipping date, When I picked up the box, none of the unprofessional staff informed me of any content restrictions, only that I had to be back by Friday. No flyer was given, just a list of contents that my wife had to fill out. When we dropped the box off, they asked for us to open the box so that they can inspect the contents! That's so intrusive! They disclosed that we could not send any cologne, watches (Because of the enclosed battery), that there will be a charge for each watch and that we will also have to pay an extra $30 charge to send a used cellphone. We will send the watches & cologne by ship from another cargo company after Christmas! They should have at least informed us a prior to coming in. We will never use LBC again! I want to give a good review but I simply cannot. I always try to support my own people but in this case I am forced to give a negative review. I came in and carrying big boxes to send to the Philippines. As soon as I entered, the middle aged male customer rep treated me as an intruder not a customer or a fellow human being for that matter. He looked at me with such disdain and asked what was in the boxes. I told him shoes. Then I proceeded to request a box to put my items for shipping. After taking about 15-20 minutes to organize my items in the box, I proceeded to inquire about the shipping details. The customer rep told me that I cannot send more than 12 items at one time due to custom rules. I asked him why he did not tell me that sooner, knowing that I had over 12 items to ship. I had over 50 shoes to send and this guy watched me pack and organized these items. What a jerk! He could have said that before I packed all the items in. He was just so rude. Him and this other employee were just choppin it up behind the counter and acting unprofessional. I wish we Filipino people just take care of our own and not act arrogant and dicks with each other. The problem with us is we worship white people instead of being proud of our own heritage and work together as a whole. I bet you if a white person comes they will give them the red carpet treatment. The employees were so helpful, the facility was clean, this location was not as rude as the OC location. I was hesitant at first because of the reviews I saw but it wasn't at all the case. Here I sit...4 and a half hours into the 4 hour window!! I am going to join the one-star club on here!! (only because yelp wont allow a quarter of a star) The reviews are correct!! They give a 4 hour pick up window and miss it altogether, don't call, don't text and won't answer there phone!! The Filipinos in America, many nurses and doctors, whose time is very valuable, have came to expect reliability if they have lived here for only a few months. These guys at LBC are using the Filipino standards of service in America. I would advise anyone and everyone to do a google search for other companies in the forwarding business. read more
