There is a magic within at a place called the Asian Healing Spa and his name is Tom. Tom is a…read more massage therapist whose literally helped me regain control of my life again where I am no longer totally debilitated by pain. I am being 100% honest when I tell you that as therapeutic healer, Tom is a true gift to this world . A uniquely-gifted practitioner, he has this rare (almost unworldly!) and extraordinary ability to intuitively discern the areas in the body where physical pain exists and HEALS it! I started seeing Tom once a week for a 1-hour massage several months ago upon the sudden onset of debilitating [muscular] pain in my back and my neck. It was destroying my life and my quality of life, and I was helpless to it ; Unable to find relief, l was at its mercy every single day . My sister (who is an acupuncturist) referred me to Tom and encouraged me to schedule an appointment with him. She said "He can help you. You have got to experience a massage with Tom at least once, Emily!," and so that's what a did. Initially, when she told me the business name, my first thought was "is this a legit?!"(feeling a little apprehensive). But she, similarly to Tom, also has "IT" when it comes to the ability to heal and I knew she wouldn't steer me in the wrong direction. And so, with an open mind and a hopeful heart ,off I went for my first massage with him. And she was right. He DID help me, and he continues to help me manage my pain every time i leave from an appointment with him. The part that Tom has played in my healing has been enormous and I give him a LOT of credit for helping me regain control of my life again ; A life where I am no longer controlled by my pain. A massage with Tom IS that "little magic pill" for a PAIN RELIEF (and the "pill" that we always hear doesn't exist!) Only it DOES exist for muscular pain relief and perhaps in one of the most unlikely places you'd expect to find it. I have wanted to write this review for such a long time now,..and I should have done it sooner....I struggled to find the words to verbalize my experience and the huge GAINS I've come away with from weekly appointments with Tom. I've achieved relief so powerful it has literally changed my life and afforded me with QUALITY of life once again. I was a little taken aback and disheartened to see ANY negative reviews posted about this business and I felt defensive for Asian Healing Spa upon first reading some of those comments . But, I realize now,... Not everyone is going to be capable of appreciating the gift that is in this place and it's healers. If you're looking for a run-of-then-mill bougie, ordinarily upscale spa where you will pay a fortune in exchange for minimal therapeutic gain,....and, if you cant hold space in your heart and have an open mind (without preset expectations) of what you think a "massage" or a spa SHOULD BE,...and, if you're going to go in there judging the structure of the massage rooms, the decor and the fixtures,....Then, it is highly unlikely you'll be able to appreciate the magic and the uniqueness this place has to offer us. You go on girl and head to that bougie spa down the road and rob yourself of the chance to experience the miracle. We are SO blessed to have this place (and it's insanely talented practitioners!) available to us locally within an arm's reach. On the contrary, If you are spiritual in nature, you will love this place. If you CAN be open to the unique Asian massage techniques utilized here, for the sake of healing and understand that whichever technique the practitioner utilizes with done so bearing your best interests at heart (walking on your back for deep lactic acid buildup- is AMAZING!) , you are going to fall in love with this place (as I have) and will think you stumbled upon one of the seven wonders of the world.

I took my mother here for a Mother's Day massage. She got the combo package (30-minute body massage…read more+ 30-minute foot massage) for $90, which we paid for upfront. Before the session, they gave us a form where we could choose the pressure level, mark areas to focus on, and note any areas to avoid, which I appreciated because it made the experience feel more personalized. When we entered the massage room, the therapist did not want me to stay in the room with my mother, even though there were clearly two seats available inside. At first, they said, "Someone is sitting there," which made no sense because it was only me and my mom in the room. I asked who would be sitting there, and they went quiet before repeating that I couldn't stay. I explained that my mother does not speak English and that I needed to remain there to help translate if necessary. Instead of showing understanding, the situation became awkward and uncomfortable right from the beginning. As a customer, especially when bringing a parent who cannot communicate easily, I expected a little more patience and professionalism. Despite that interaction, my mother did enjoy the massage overall. It was her first professional massage, so she did not have many expectations going in. The therapist did pay attention to the areas she marked on the form and seemed attentive to the pressure and focus points she requested. My mother said she felt relaxed afterward, and I was happy that she at least enjoyed that part of the experience. Unfortunately, the ending completely ruined it for me. After the massage ended, as we were walking out the door, the therapist stood in front of the door and blocked me from exiting to ask for a tip. I understand tipping culture and I normally do tip for good service, but making customers feel pressured or physically stopped before they can leave is extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. It left a very bad final impression on me, especially after the earlier issue about me staying in the room to help my mother communicate. Overall, while the massage itself was decent and my mother enjoyed it, the customer service and handling of the situation made the experience feel uncomfortable and stressful rather than relaxing. For a place that provides services meant to help people unwind, I think they should work on making customers feel respected and at ease from start to finish. We will not be returning. I would only come here if I spoke Chinese, came alone, and don't mind tipping bad service. ‍

I…read morehave heard a lot of good things about the Pearl Spa and I am glad that I finally got a chance to come here. My girlfriend had a 90 min Healing Waters session booked for this past Saturday morning and asked if I would like to join her. I am so glad that I did and I really needed this self care day. So what the Healing Waters entails are six water therapies that relieve pain, reduce stress, and restore the body, mind + soul through a series of thoughtfully curated water therapies. and you can add a session in the crystal salt room and enhance your immune system, purge toxins, and soothe and repair skin concerns. Right now the healing waters for 90 mins is going for $50 and if you want to get the robe an slippers it is an additional $10. You can also bring your own robe and pool slides if you like. My favorites out the session were the relaxing hot tub, cold plunge and the steam room. The steam room really pulls out the toxins in your body. They have really nice locker room area is really nice they have secure lockers for your belongings, a sauna and nice showers. Their wellness lounge offers clients time to relax before or after spa services or mindful movement classes. A wonderful place to share a cup of our signature tea with friends. Within the spa, a serene quiet lounge is available for use for those who prefer to relax in solitude. And if the spa is not your thing, they do offer mindful movement classes that are centered around self-care and are offered in a supportive group environment. Traditional yoga, barre, cardio and mediation sessions are available 7 days a week. I am really big on self care and centering my mind and body and The Pearl Spa gets it right. I highly recommend this place to just try just once. I will say Saturdays are really busy, so if you are looking for more quieter days, I would go during the week. The next time I will go will probably be a Tuesday SYOY

Recommend booking yours at least 3 weeks in advance). It's a small business (yay!) with a larger chain feel as in there are plenty of body products you can browse and buy up front in the lobby area which is nice. the receptionist was polite. Got a quick little tour and was escorted to the locker room, you get a card with your locker number and code on it, they have showers too, very convenient. Then waited in the wellness area for the massage therapist to come get me. Afterwards was escorted to their small quiet lounge, brought my choice of tea (they had cucumber water and 2 tea options, I opted for the white ginger tea which was great). Very relaxing atmosphere in the quiet lounge. Enjoyed my massage, Luke was great and very professional (he asked about avoidance areas, focus areas etc the usual). I asked for some reflexology which he accommodated. Foot massage was great. Body felt so relaxed the rest of the day. I've been to several different luxury spas and this is deff my new fave local spot. LOVED the massage room ambience- spacious, nice aesthetic that's almost salt cave like yet still modern, and loved that they have a robe warmer you can use if you wish! After your massage you can stay and hangout in the lounge or sauna as long as you wish. Sauna was pretty hot, around 170F if I recall. Definitely makes you feel pampered. They also give you a complimentary brownie when you check out. Highly recommend coming here for a massage! They also have their healing water pool you can pay separately for time in. Parking: drive down a little road ramp to find it, it's to the side of WholeFoods. Plenty of free parking in the garage directly out front of the spa.
