Had the most delicious breakfast today at LBI Table! I ordered the Jersey Hash Bowl, which was pork roll, onion, potato, peppers, American cheese and scrambled eggs. Added a homemade biscuit which blended up real nice! Our waitress was really nice. Service was attentive and fast. The inside of the restaurant had a nice nautical ambience, with blue and white painted walls and some nautical decorations. We will definitely come back again! read more

The waitress was brand new and yet was super friendly and didn't make any mistakes! Everyone loved their breakfast selections and the prices are very reasonable. Went for breakfast on Sunday party of 6 Lemon Blueberry pancakes outstanding I had the butcher block omelette it was so big and packed with meat it could have fed two people it was delicious and yes I finished it my son-in-law had the corned beef eggs Benedict said it was the best he's ever had. Walked right in on a Wednesday in high season. Had to try the lemon blueberry pancakes. They were nice but the lemon whipped cream came on a little strong. Texture/fluffiness was excellent, as was the service. DH enjoyed his hash, and niece enjoyed her hash bowl. The decor is bright and cheery and it wasn't too loud inside. Great diner-style restaurant. We were quickly seated and started off with the pancake flight. We picked Lemon Blueberry, Bourbon Street, and Chocolate Berry which were all phenomenal, but our favorite was the Bourbon Street pancakes. After hanging out at Costco, we decided to give this place a try based on the reviews. We were driving around looking for brunch choices and chose this place. It looked cute on the outside. We were immediately seated after checking in. The restaurant is small and feels a lot like you're a guest in a friend's home. The walls are a beautiful shade of dark blue, with a fireplace filled with knickknacks situated near the back and a juice machine and coffee station set up nearby. Coffee mugs with flatware and napkins sit on mounted shelves by the coffee station and tables cover every inch of the floor as well. Framed scenery paintings hang from some of the walls and a dessert display case is positioned near the entrance. We found parking around the corner. I'm pretty convinced if we went here during summer season, there'd be a wait. So, we were pretty happy that we went off season. Daughter ordered the SSBT, from the Beach Bock Benedicts category, which has smoked salmon, bacon, grilled tomato, poached eggs, hollandaise on a bagel. She liked it a lot and thought the smoked salmon was pretty fresh. I liked it also. She also got a cold brew, coffee, which she liked a lot because it was pretty strong. Next, hubs ordered the 8 oz burger with LTO. It was missing tomato, but it had lettuce and onion. He ordered it rare and it came out just right. He liked it a lot and was glad that he ordered a burger because he wasn't sure if you wanted that or another item on the menu. Lastly, I ordered lemon blueberry pancakes, from Jayson's Station Pancakes category, which has blueberries, lemon zest, topped with lemon whipped cream and powdered sugar. This was delicious. It was nice and fluffy. Daughter and I shared our entrées with each other. L O L. She loved the pancakes as well. There was this group of older women that were lunching next to us. After they got their bill, one of them approached us and asked if we would like to donate to their club by adding a tip to the bill. That was a little uncomfortable because we didn't want to do that. We told her that we would donate to her rather than adding to the tip. But, I guess she misunderstood us and walked off in a huff. Then, we heard her tell another friend next to her about us and that friend said " oh. They didn't want to give it?" I don't like when people put us on a spot like that. A restaurant is a place where you're supposed to be able to relax and not worry about people approaching you. I didn't care for the fact that we got approached and asked if we wanted to donate to their bill. She had also approached another person before she approached our table, and I think that person did donate. Whatever it was, I felt it was a scam. So, if anybody from the restaurant reads this, please pay attention to your customers. Other than that episode, service was pretty friendly and quick. Everything was delicious, but not sure if I will return. We left with a sour taste in our mouths. The host is awful. Whatever software they use to allow people to join waitlists does not allow more than 6 people, and if you leave a note stating that you have more than that, they won't read/accommodate it. Similarly, they won't answer when you try to call them multiple times to make sure they see your note. Then you get there and inform them of the note, and they don't accurately communicate how much time that may add. Additionally, if you are eager to sit, you can just override the host and pick a table! We had ours taken from us because the host didn't have the courage to tell them it was not a "seat yourself" restaurant. This added even more time to our already elongated and ridiculous wait. I have done work as a host before and understand how stressful a situation like this can be, but I don't think it's in the restaurants best interest to then ignore customers as a result. While yes, we had a larger party, that shouldn't mean we get pushed to the back of the list. The food is good and our server was amazing, but everything else about this place was not. If you're okay wasting your morning by waiting 1+ hours after the host told you your table would be ready, then you will enjoy LBI Table. read more
