My boyfriend and I spontaneously came here to get pedicures one night before going to dinner for our anniversary.I've been getting my toes done recently and wanted him to experience the joy of a pedicure! We arrived about an hour and a half before they closed and the manager told us to come back in 30 minutes because there were only 2 techs left for the night. We came back and they brought us back to the chairs and had our feet soak. We ended up waiting another half hour there. I'm very grateful they squeezed us in as walk-ins without having made an appointment. The manager's husband ended up chatting with us for about 20 minutes while we were waiting and he was so sweet! Our pedicures themselves were good. I got gel on my toes and we both got the Classic Pedicure. The nail polish was neat and clean and hasn't peeled yet. The pedicure itself (not including polish) only lasted 15 minutes which was a little disappointing after waiting so long. Maybe they were rushing because at that point it was about 30 mins to close, but I would've appreciated some more time for the actual service. Overall, it was still a great experience and I appreciated the hospitality and friendliness. Four stars because of our wait time, but still an enjoyable experience! read more

I received an unacceptable shellac manicure. This salon needs to hire reputable nail techs and not just anyone they know. Their nail techs need proper training in shellac removal, nail preparation, shaping, and polish application. I had to tell my nail tech how to shape my nails so that they were even. She used the drill on the highest setting to remove my previous shellac which led to my nails BURNING under the UV light. I could not even let her finish applying a top coat because of how BAD it burned. I am so disappointed and my nails STILL burn. This is unacceptable considering I spend my hard earned money to get a decent manicure. I still paid and tipped because I know this is peoples livelihood but I will not be back and you all should know if your nail tech is experienced or not. DO NOT LET THEM USE THE DRILL ON YOUR NAILS!!!! They are just lazy and want to get the polish off quicker leaving your nails brittle and burned. read more

We booked this salon for my daughter's bridal party and spent over $500 (plus tip) for manicures and pedicures. At first, everything seemed fine, but within a week, two of my daughters developed toenail fungal infections. This was incredibly disappointing, especially considering the amount we paid and the significance of the occasion. A bridal party should be a joyful, pampering experience--not one that leaves lasting problems. Sanitation and cleanliness are non-negotiable in this type of business, and based on our experience, I cannot recommend this salon. read more

I'm going to Plymouth again to get a pedicure and was considering coming back here but the last time I went, I ended up with two ingrown toenails, one in each big toe. I've never had that happen before with a pedicure. When I went the place looked nice, I didn't notice anything dirty and we didn't need to wait. The pedicure bowls are lined with a bag and you have the option from a basic pedicure or something fancier. I usually opt for the pedicure with a hot stone foot massage. It's so fabulous! The pedicure was relaxing, but they don't pay attention to detail. I really want to love this place, it's walking distance from my house and the owners are nice, but I've had three bad experiences so I can't continue to go back. The work is sloppy. The first bad experience was with gel polish, my nails were not filed nicely and it chipped soon after. The second time I had dip done and it was SO thick which I hate. So I decided I can't trust them for manicures but I'll get pedicures done there. It's just my toes so who cares if it's not perfect right? Well I was wrong. My nails were filed uneven like on a slant and had jagged parts to them. There was polish left on my skin. They did not even put polish on my whole nail. I like my nails cut down short and I had to ask several times for them to adjust the cut. They started chipping after a couple days and my pedicures usually last a month. It looked fine in the salon but the second I saw them in natural light I knew it was a bad job and I can never come back. I'm sad to leave this review because it's a neighborhood spot and I want them to do well BUT I also don't want people to waste their hard earned money on bad mani/pedis. read more

The gentleman, owner, was very gregarius and accomodating. However, the manicurist and eyebrow technition was either tired or just has poor skills. When she came over to do my pedicure, she didn't even say hello. I don't think she speaks English well but should learn a few words to have clients feel comfortable. I paid $31 for a Basic Pedicure and it was barely Basic compared to my previous pedicures. When I went to have her do my "dip" manicure, that was a disasterous experience. She cut my nails VERY short. I even yipped for pain a couple times! Next service was an eyebrow wax by same person! She just started without finding out what I wanted. Street parking might be sparse if you hit right in the middle of the day on a weekend but there's a lot of public lots around. Very clean salon. Was in-between 3-4 stars. Walking in we were immediately greeted which was great but then we ended up having to wait 30+ minutes even though we had a reservation. There was a women that asked if the nail tech could squeeze her in and then the tech proceeded to tell us that we'd have to wait because the women had an appointment. Kind of seemed weird since she asked if she could be fit in but we didn't really mind waiting. The pedi's that my partner and I received were nice. My nail tech seemed quiet but really sweet. She asked if I liked my nail color before doing the rest and my nails ended up looking well done but we paid for the upgraded pedi's and the stone massage was really short. Overall, I'd go again but this probably won't become my go-to. read more

Went there on 11/16/2021, staff was nice, place seemed clean. However, my cuticles were cut in to deep and I started bleeding. Told the technician and she cleaned it. After arriving home and having a closer look I noticed that I had blood on 3 fingers on my left hand and on two fingers on my right hand! I hope I don't get an infection or anything, something like this could turn into a serious health concern. Not a place I would go back to or recommend. read more

The last 4 or 5 times here have been a bad experience, I know it is a crazy time right now so I have been patient but at this point, I think it is just bad service and a lack of care for their customers. I got an infection with the last manicure I got after I was cut, and they make you feel like they don't want you there, aside from one of the employees. Also, making a reservation is pointless, we made one for 3 people and waited for over 50 minutes before even one of us got started. read more

First - The manager/owner is always lovely. The young man who did my service today was rough and rude. He didn't take any care and my service was often painful. He seemed annoyed by my requests to be gentler, vigorously filed my nails despite my need to pull my hand back from pain (and they're uneven), and he was commenting to other staff about my requests and laughing. Popped in here instead of my usual salon since I was meeting a friend in DTP. I will not have that person touch my nails again. read more

I've been coming here for 3 years now. I love this salon. They are always quick and usually can seat me ASAP. They used to be dirtier but since being under new management they have greatly improved. The new owner is very nice and it's obvious he is always trying to put his customers first. He'll walk around asking if people want water or anything else to drink. The technicians are very nice and always do an amazing job. They are pretty helpful too when deciding between colors. Make sure to get a pedicure some of their signature packages are AMAZING. I love LC. It's the only nail salon I'll ever go to. read more

I have tried them a couple times and each time was not a good experience. One time I picked cat eye nail color. The nail tech used the bottle but never did the cat eye design even though I asked several times. So I left without getting what I wanted and they did not care. Another time the nail tech tried to charge my card $30 extra by talking fast and saying the numbers quickly. My mom and I came here so I could get my nails and toes done for my senior pictures. We both got pedicures and a little bit into our appointment my mom told the lady doing her pedicure she was going to pass out. She just looked at her and kept working as if she didn't care. My mom asked her for a cool towel or something cold and the woman just stood there and stared at her like she was crazy. After my mom asked multiple times for something cold she finally got it for her. Also while she was prepping her nails for the pedicure she cut her toe causing her to bleed and didn't apologize or ask if she was okay or anything, just kept working. When I got my nails done I told the lady exactly how long I wanted my nails to be. She would only cut a little sliver off each time and eventually I gave up telling her to cut them shorter because we didn't have enough time because I had to go get my hair done. I specifically told her that I wanted my nails to be coffin. She made them closer to square than coffin though. Not only were they not coffin, but the tips of some of my nails were rounded while others were square. None of them were filed fraught either, they were all at a slant. And while she was cutting prepping my nails for the tips and acrylic I felt a sharp pain through my thumb and I look up and she's wiping away blood which I find weird. The same thing happened with my ring finger as well. Fast forward exactly one week, I am changing a battery in a remote. As I'm putting the battery cover back on one of the nails just snaps off. I find that to be weird and not enough to make a nail snap off as I was not using much strength to put this cover back on because why would more than a little bit of pressure be needed right? The cover still wasn't on all the way so I go to slide it on the rest of the way and ANOTHER nail breaks off. Now I'm thinking something has got to be wrong because I have had way worse things happen and my nails have stayed on. Another week goes by and I am packing for a weekend trip. All i did was move my hand to pick up a shirt from my floor and my ring finger nail barely touches the carpet and the nail snaps off. By now I'm just thinking that they did something wrong. There is no way these were done right or with quality product. What makes it even better is my mom paid $80 for these. I don't believe they were done right and they were not what I wanted despite me handing the lady doing my nails my phone with a picture of exactly what I wanted and showing her exactly how long I wanted them. It is safe to say I will never be coming back here. read more

Made an appointment and it was speedy to get sat and a full set. The rest was speedy as well, she spent less than 35 minutes on my nails. I asked for square and half are square others are coffin (or a random unsymmetrical shape), and they're very uneven and bumpy. Tina, the worker, drilled my skin about 8 times and cut me without acknowledgment, I get slipping once but she was very careless. The supplies used were also all pre used. For spending $50 on a short, "square," one color set, I spent more than a dollar a minute for rushed poor work & getting cut. read more
