I was looking for a new breakfast place to try and saw all of the positive reviews for Le Andos Café on Yelp. I agree that this is a wonderful place, even though the AC was broken and there was quite a wait to get a table. The café is very tiny and very popular - people lounge around outside waiting patiently. The menu was just what my friend and I wanted - it was so packed with a variety of unique and yummy breakfast items that we had to try two each and bring home whatever we couldn't eat. If you like crepes, French toast, or pancakes, you'll love all of the choices. However, I didn't think the French toast tasted any better than anywhere else. There are some great vegetarian options like the Florentine eggs Benedict, which I had - pretty tasty. Service is friendly but maybe a little slow - they forgot my coffee at first - but it's very busy in there and the waitresses appeared to really be hustling. Overall a homy little spot with an interesting menu and generous portions. Not exactly bargain prices or completely gourmet flavour, but worth the price and the trip for something different. read more

For sure a 5! Le Andos is a hidden gem. Very understated in a little shopping mall that packs a big punch. I've taken a bunch of people there. Some who have lived in the area there whole life and never knew it was there. They are all regulars now too. The food is great. All kinds of unique pancakes and French toast like Nutella or apple nut. I usually got the omelettes and they were always good. This place was incredible. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great as well. The only downside is that it is very small and super busy, which isn't really a downside but if you go for Saturday morning breakfast be prepared to wait a little bit. However it's worth it. Le Andos struck me as a sort of Macomb version of Hilton Road Cafe. It's a small place with fresh made desserts and sweet items and a breakfast-centric menu. The omelets were spot on. The hashbrowns - classic, grated style and buttery - were excellent. Service was also excellent. And the prices were super reasonable. I'm not in Macomb super often, but if it's breakfast or lunch time, I'd stop by again and definitely recommend it. read more

While the items here are delish(according to the rest of my family) I have Celiac and due to the fact that they don't use a designated gluten free toaster or area on the grill, their "gluten free" toast and pancakes are no longer gluten free...and I can't eat here... Had a weekend trip in Royal Oaks, MI for a wedding and needed a quick breakfast and lunch place before the festivities. I found this amazing hole in the wall treasure on Yelp! The shop is small but super cute with homey decor and the service was great. Our waitress Christy was very nice and attentive and gave us great suggestions. Everything we ordered was a special on their chalkboard and it was all to die for. We ordered the salmon spinach Benny, the red velvet French toast (because how could you resist that name) and the Greek omelette. Everything was great but the best had to be the red velvet French toast, pieces of red velvet mixed into French toast mix. So. Good. Please note, it's super rich and sweet so be sure to order coffee if you don't order any salty entrees. Each order could feed two people easily and each dish was only about $10 which is a great price for a speciality dish. We obviously over ordered and had plenty of leftovers for the next day and it was still just has good reheated. If I ever return to MI I'm definitely coming back! read more

I took my little sister here, who I may add is an extremely picky eater, and we enjoyed every bite. We ordered one of the day's specials which was peanut butter lover waffles. They were just as amazing as they sound. The second item we ordered was the crepes with nutella and nuts with drizzle of some sort. Her and I shared the two items and could barely finish them, so i would advise being prepared for big portions. We could have gotten by with sharing just one thing. I'm glad I read all the reviews on Yelp and that I was not steered wrong. Le Andos is one of the best spots for breakfast IMO. They have such unique and delicious items that you can't go wrong choosing any item on their menu. I chose the chicken and waffles and was not disappointed. The waffles were crisp and fluffy and the chicken tenders in between were also crunchy and yummy. I would have preferred to have a more traditional chicken wing but that's just me. My friend ordered the sweet and savory waffle which was basically an omelet between two waffles smothered in powdered sugar and syrup. Now usually I hate when sweet and savory things touch or mix but man it was good!!! My other friend ordered the pecan cream waffle and that was delicious as well. The portions were so big we ended up taking half our food home. I'm looking forward to returning to try other items!! read more

Stopped in this morning to see what all the hype was about. Sunday brunch (bad idea) but I must be missing out on something if people are waiting 45 minutes for breakfast. They took my phone number and called when my turn was up. Unfortunately, I missed the call when I ran out real quick because my 45 minute wait turned into only 20. Hurried back, got sat and ordered enough food for 4-5 people. Meat lovers hash was delicious, and the unique birthday sprinkle pancakes and fruity pebble French toast were a great sweet tooth fix (took most of those home though). Beef schwarma hash was "ok" according to my girlfriend, but overall I loved the experience and good atmosphere. Great menu that nobody else offers, attentive staff, and fair prices. Went here yesterday. Had a chunky monkey crepe, le andos omlette, hot chocolate and soup. The food was great. The hash browns that came with it were extremely burnt, the cup the hot chocolate came in was still dirty. They need to pay more attention to their cleanliness level, the booth next to us had food scraps on the floor, the seat and the table. It was a complete mess, yet they just cleaned the table and let a couple sit in the booth. read more
