My husband ordered some lunch for us for pick up he had been wanting to try Franks. What a great little place the food was hot when we got home and our sandwiches and fries were delicious, fresh and filling. My buddy and I went there yesterday for the 1st.time and I got biscuits and gravy and 2 scrambled eggs,the biscuits and gravy tasted horrible biscuits where burn ,tasted like a dirty grill and gravy had a horrible taste only ate a few bites and the eggs where not whipping a bowl rather thrown on a grill and flipped a couple times,not cooked completely.well on the way out I looked behind counter and it was filthy.fast forward 30 minutes and we where looking for a bathroom as fast as we could! Was just there for the first time for Bfast. and Bfast being our main meal of the day the food was good the service was as well. We did get there at a time when they were not busy but several folks did come in ~15 minutes after we arrived. The menu was extensive for breakfast as well as for lunch, we got our food (Ham & cheddar omelet w/potatos and toast as well as a stack of blueberry pancakes) The omelet was large (3 eggs) and the ham & cheese were plentiful although the ham was diced into small bits and I prefer mine more in 1/4" x 1/2" slices and the potatoes were done just right. My wife's pancakes (3) were a good size and easy to cut, we hate pancakes where we need a steak knife to cut them) they had good flavor in addition to the blueberries. The coffee was good if you like strong just a tad below Starbucks, I'm a Tasters Choice person so was a bit strong for me but wasn't bad at all. I came here for the first time today and I thought it was pretty good! I got the breakfast skillet and my husband got the bigbaby burger! It's small with a smaller parking lot..typical diner food. Super friendly staff! Someone said it took a while for their food...I didnt have any issues at all. It came up super quick and they even had to turn the fryer on and wait for it to heat up. Took no time! You can get anything on the menu during breakfast which was pretty cool because I got there around 730am. I work midnights and wanted chili cheese fries lol. The food is pretty cheap too! I want to try their burgers because I hear they're to die for! I'll be back! read more

As we walked in, we were greeted from the kitchen who I assume to be the owner. Good start. We ordered and the waitress seemed taken aback by my question of what of the two options I should order. It took her a minute to decipher my question. Anyway, we ordered, the food was good but the waitress was a complete airhead. Would I go back, maybe. Only if I had a different waitress and I'm assuming that I would not because the place is very small. read more

Come Hungry leave happy. This is a small family owned diner where you can tell the owner cookd the food. He hand crafts each order with love, Frank actually comes out to make sure my food is up to par. How many restaurant owners would do that especially the ones cooking the food, The soups are made from scratch and not from a can. I just wish he would be open for dinner. read more

A unassuming little breakfast and lunch spot that has some very good food. When they first opened the city had them strictly carryout but you could eat in with plastic utensils and plates. Had breakfast with the family. You receive large portions. I had the breakfast special #1 2 eggs home fries, sausage ham toast all for $3.60 it was cooked to order. It was hot off the grill. And tasted delicious. Small place that has a comfortable feeling. Friendly staff and cheerful. I removed one star due to some of the dirty windows and floors. It should be clearer.... read more

Came here Sunday morning with my boyfriend and a friend of the family's' that comes every morning, so I knew it must be good. I was impressed. I got a western omlette and I have been craving another one since I left. The ham was finely chopped so I got some in every bite and the green peppers were actually present- cut large enough that you can taste it. Will tailor your order to suit your specific tastes, usually if not always without an upcharge. "Family" atmosphere, with friendly, welcoming, service-oriented owner/cook and wait staff. Small dining area, but you feel safe since they strictly adhere to COVID-19 and other restaurant health requirements--social distancing, masks, cleanliness, and other hygenic practices. While they were once required by the City to use carryout containers etc when they first opened years ago, they service your food using regular plates and flatware, Their coneys are good; different hot dogs than at National Coney Island, but seems like the same no bean chili. I came to Frank's for the first time this morning. I got the Frank's omelette and I loved it. My girlfriend enjoyed her omelette as well. Its a small place and Frank is the only cook. Be prepared to wait a little bit but it is worth it. I'll be sure to try lunch or dinner there. read more

Just got home from breakfast and I am starving. Never returning to this restaurant. This place is dirty, I felt like I shouldn't touch anything. I would have overlooked that but then when I opened my jelly for my toast, the strawberry jelly was BROWN, I opened many different flavors and came up with the same conclusion. I even got the nerve to taste it and believe me, it tasted exactly the way it looked. I asked the waitress if they have "real" jelly anywhere and she said no, she brushed off my complaint about the jelly with no apologies. I received my eggs and knew that I do not like to eat my eggs without jelly on my toast, I gave it a try anyhow but couldn't do it so I returned my breakfast. When we received our bill, my breakfast was still on the bill, I took the bill up to who seemed to be a manager or a head waitress and she laughed at me when I said I wanted them to take my order off of my bill because their jelly is bad, they only took 3.00 off of the bill and I did not get an apology of any sort. Really, you're gonna laugh at a customer???? And a 3.00 credit when the breakfast cost more than that??? Will never return and will let everyone know about my experience. Huge thumbs down read more

Service was good. Food was not that great. We all ordered the Western omelette and none of us were impressed with it. The egg was really thin, it had hardly no green pepper/onion, and it had way too much diced ham which made it taste really salty. I would not recommend the biscuits and gravy either. The gravy was very soupy and almost clear. The atmosphere was cozy/friendly and no complaints on the service, but I would not likely visit this place again. read more
