Food was good, but the front of house (servers/host) needs some serious training in customer service. Very small dining area with an almost nonexistent place to wait. My stepfather who is a disabled vet and current police officer, was treated horribly by a waitress because he was standing off to the side of the cashier near the restrooms while waiting on a table. The waitress or manager got into a verbal, rude, and condescending argument with him and the other guest in my party. They stayed calm, were ignored, but we did not leave and were eventually seated. There were 3 chairs for their "waiting area", 2 feet from the bathroom, that were already occupied by another guest, who seated himself when he was told, in my party along with a mother and her young child. Is that sanitary or even appropriate to have the waiting area where the restrooms are? He was told to go sit down and get out of the way. However, there was absolutely nowhere for him to sit, and even if there was a seat available he would have chosen to stand because his back was injured when he was on a deployment and it hurts him if he sits for extended periods. I am absolutely appalled at the way the waitress acted towards him. If he could sit, and absolutely needed to, you should also have brought him the 4th seat so he could do so and not point behind him at 3 filled chairs. Please don't assume that people are being rude or unresponsive to your demands because they have a disability that is not physically apparent. read more

The boy and I try to go to breakfast at least once a week. His bday was coming up so I decided to pick a place to take him for our weekly date. We both enjoyed our visit. The food was good and plentiful for the price. We got a coupon for checking in on Yelp. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. I will say the bells on the door were making me INSANE. We sat right by the door and every time someone came or went they would chime for 30 secs. By the end of our breakfast I couldn't wait to get out. Note to self: do NOT sit next to door next time!! Also, everyone who came to our table was so friendly. There was a girl behind the counter who was obviously cashiering, but she was starring, constantly, and I must have caught her eye several times. She never cracked a smile or said anything, etc. Just stood back there with this look... Maybe she was having a bad day, or maybe she just stares into space. We ate here twice and had two completely different experiences....I was very happy to find a place near home with gluten free pancakes. We went for breakfast and were very happy with omlettes, gf pancakes, service...however I went back for lunch and ordered gluten free pancakes and the server brought out regular pancakes to me, then came back after 5 minutes to say they werent the gluten free pancakes and took them away. Sadly the damage had been done as i had all ready had a few bites. Luckily I was feeding my toddler niece and didn't have a chance to eat too much. The server brought out gluten free pancakes and said how hard it was to tell the regular from the gluten free apart when they werent side by side. WHAT!! She asked if i was going to be "all right"....of course I was not going to be ok...she just fed me something I am allergic too!! No manager came to apologize for her mistake . I think this is a case of horrible service but regardless I wont be back. They need to train their staff better if they want to be allergy friendly. Very very disappointed. read more

Great food! I had the red velvet french toast from the daily special board. So good! This place has delicious food and different too. The only thing is the place is super small. I guess cafes should be small, but this was stressful and with a baby it's very hard to maneuver around the place. We got a small table and had barely enough room for our food and our baby kept almost pushing the plates off the table. A lot of extra work for us to keep things on. It's worth the wait if you are ok with it. They are very busy and not much room to wait. I hope they are able to expand or move to a bigger place soon. It was ok. We were expecting the most amazing breakfast in macomb county but it was mediocre and we were kinda surprised based off the reviews. We were sat pretty quick for the long line and being 11:30 am on Sunday, but the service was really slow. They kept getting the order of everyone sat down way after us until I finally informed the bus boy that we had been sitting there for a half hour and hadn't been acknowledged yet. We had the eggs Benedict that were just meh, ham, French toast, and hash browns. I was going to get the corned beef hash, but when I tried to order it, the waitress told me that it's from a can so I changed my mind. There is absolutely nothing spectacular about this place except that it's pretty cheap, but I would expect it to be because the food is average at best. When I was paying with the coupon from yelp, I finally realized what was going on and why all the reviews are so great - they let you keep using the coupon over and over by checking in through Yelp. And of course you're going to say good things if you want to return and keep having a cheap breakfast. I get why they have done it this way, the location isn't the best place for a restaurant. Someone has finally found a way to use Yelp to make money and bring business in repeatedly without it being against the rules, and that's fine. But I really wish I hadn't convinced my husband not to go to The amazing Cafe Muse or Toast for breakfast on the one morning my husband and I had alone without the kids based on inaccurate reviews. read more

Came in Sunday September 30th lady in a blue flannel with black curly hair was sooo rude. We came in asked how long the wait is for 3 and she said 45 mins and walked away. She didn't ask us if we wanted to put our name down which we did. We had a party of 3. We got called to sit and we sat down and our third party wasn't there yet. They told us in a rude way "we'll your party is not here we can't serve you, you need to get up!" This is from the blue flannel curly hair girl. She could have said it in so many different ways. The way she said it was so rude and disrespectful. She could have said. The booths are for party's of 3-4 so if your party is now 2 we need to wait. Or at least let us know when we put our name on the list the full party has to be there to be sat. It's fucking ridiculous how we were treated and disrespected no one wanted to ask us nicely. Based on my personal experience with a recent breakfast at Le Andos Cafe I have to wonder why all the FIVE STAR ratings? Yes, the restaurant appears very clean with good service and a friendly staff. However, I would rate the food as slightly above average - No way deserving of a 5 STAR. My breakfast included eggs, hash browns, ham and toast. The ham appeared to be cut from a round lunch meat loaf....... Not fresh ham but greasy, tasteless and grisly. The eggs were OK but nothing special, and the hash browns were a bit heavy with either too much butter or saturated with oil. Maybe just a bad day for the cook but my breakfast and those of my two companions was slightly above average. A three star! read more

I don't know what they put in them but it is amazing. After getting recommendations from a few friends that this is the place to go for breakfast, we decided to give it a try today. Arrived and was seated immediately. Slow to get our coffee and juice, and to me that serving 101....get the drinks out. Place our order and it was painstakingly long before we received our food (25 minutes) and there was only 3 of us and our grandson. Other tables that came in after us were getting their orders, so I don't know what the problem was! My husbands toast came after he was halfway through with his omelette and you knew it was cold because the butter was plopped in the center and it was not spread or melted. The eggs Benedict and stuffed French toast was good, but in my opinion not worth the wait.
