I had to leave to go to work so my recommendation would be allow yourself enough time. They didn't even offer a free blowout, but if I had missed the appointment, I would've had to pay for the blowout. Overall Drybar is usually consistent and this is the first time I've had a stylist not show up for my appointment.

I did not have the patience to explain to the young lady the same thing over and over. I asked for no part and she made a part. I asked for round brush curls and my hair was not curled on the ends. And when I pointed out the areas that were not blown out she rushed to blow dry the section in the back while also pulling the hair from the front. When you sit in someone's chair to do your hair the vibe must be right and today it was not. Very disappointed to the point where I left no gratuity which I never do. I will have to go home and redo my hair which is quite unfortunate but I did not want to make a scene in the store today.

I specifically asked for tight curls and was given loose curls instead. The stylist didn't even show me the finished style or ask if I was satisfied before moving on, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I was also told I would be charged extra for detangling -- which I understand -- but if I'm paying more, I expect the service to be completed properly and with attention to detail. Overall, the customer service and styling quality were lacking. I've had much better experiences at other Drybar locations, so I'll be going elsewhere moving forward. This location really needs more skilled stylists and stronger customer service standards.

She asked what style I wanted and I never know the name, so I told her waves and made a gesture with my hands of how I want it to look and she knew right away. When I tell you that this blowout lasted me a good 4 days and probably could have went a bit more had I not decided to work out and sweat in that 4th day! I have never had the waves last that long. They usually fall out and I don't know if that's my hair or the products being used, but it was fantastic. Just rang a big comb through it each day and it was just as fabulous as the first day!

Courtney is my stylist and always does a phenomenal silk press (I'm natural and this hair needs occassional blow dry taming) and my short cut & color. They use great products, tools and I love his technique. One major difference I see in the shop is the increased diverse talent and vibrancy of the staff. I appreciate that in a hair salon. Bookings are online or phone call, parking spots are across at Einstein's (I learned the hard way today and parked in the big lot next to Sprint and had to pay an event fare) and Starbucks is up the block if you need a coffee/tea although the staff here will gladly pour you a mimosa.
