Hannah is fantastic and I'm so glad I found her. She works out of Symmetry, which is a salon suite. It's really close to Metro, so I love that. The receptionists are very nice, and Symmetry is clean and well-kept. Hannah's studio is cute and she is able to showcase her polishes and designs. Hannah is friendly and talented (her IG is great), and when I first walked in and she had that 90s R&B bumping, I knew were were going to be friends. Her colors include OPI (including Infinite Shine) and Essie, among others and various gel polishes. The first time I visited, I went for foil nails and she did an amazing job. Everyone was complimenting my nails, and even women with really interesting manis wanted to know where I got them done. I went back to get those removed and switched back to regular nails, and she did a great job with the design for the accent nail. Her stone work is amazing, and though I haven't gotten a stone mani yet, I will. She's also a perfectionist and takes really good care of your nails and cuticles. Hannah is easily accessible by email or text, and she really prefers if you send pictures of what you are looking for, so she knows exactly what you want. She does pedicures as well, and I'm looking forward to going back for one, as well as for future manicures. I cannot recommend Le Bijou by Hannah enough. read more

Seeing Hannah every few weeks has become a must in my routine. She has the best designs and takes extra care with each person. There's no push for any other services than that which you initially wanted. She also makes recommendations when asked. At other shops, I've been told that they can't make a recommendation for fear that I might not like it. Ridiculous. Her prices, even with designs, can't be beat ... especially in Bethesda! I found Hannah on yelp because I was looking for someone that could do something more exciting than just a basic manicure and after my appointment today I can tell I certainly came to the right place! Hannah has a nice clean suite at Symmetry salon and is very professional. She seemed open to trying any design and has a wide selection of colors and crystals(!!!!!!) from which to complete them. I came here at the recommendation of a friend and I was NOT disappointed!! Hannah is a true artist. I came in with a design that I found on Instagram, but I requested that it look more simpler and less flashy. She really accommodated, keeping in mind what I wanted, and made suggestions that made the end result even better than what I had imagined. Her pricing is also not bad at all. At the other korean gel nail design shops in Virginia, they would charge upward of $60+ for just 2 designs (one per hand). I got 2 designed fingers and 2 fingers of pearls and it came out to $53+tip. I am definitely coming back to Hannah for any and all of my nail concerns. I also love that the session is one-on-one too.. it really makes me feel properly attended to. Tip: make sure you call ahead to make an appointment and tell Hannah what kind of service you want (e.g. gel nail design, gel French with no design, plain manicure, etc.). I am in town for a conference and checked Yelp for a nearby salon to get a quick gel mani before my flight home. Hannah's salon was the easy choice and all of the reviews are spot-on! I was able to book the appointment online the night before. The morning of my appointment, I badly broke my thumbnail near the middle of the nail. Hannah fixed it very carefully - see photo attached - you can't even tell there is a wrap on it. Five stars for careful nail care, friendliness, cleanliness, product selection, and reasonable prices! Can't emphasize enough how great of a manicurist Hannah is. First, she's extremely conscious of clients, their unique hands, and any preferences they have. She noticed that my cuticles were short for how long my nails had grown out since my last gel manicure (at a different location) and asked if I cut my own cuticles/if I liked them very short. She knows a ton about nail health and was giving me advice to prevent my cuticles from bloating. That's just one part of the pie! Second, she genuinely cares about the aesthetic of your nails. I talked about wanting a little bit of glitter, and she suggested having a gold sparkle shade on my ring fingers only. No extra charge for that little extra oomph! She uses polishes from Korea and Japan and has a ton of deco that you can add. I didn't expect to find such an authentic Korean manicurist like her in Bethesda/the DMV - I'm lucky to have found her. Finally, her space in Symmetry is fantastic. It's personal and special for just that one client and I love that privacy and attention you receive. She even has an air filter for the room so it's super clean and fresh- no headache scents. I love Hannah!!! She is so meticulous and careful with her work and I always feel so fabulous after she does my nails. Her studio is very clean, cute, and hygienic. I've gotten both regular polish and gel manicures and they always last for such a long time. I wash my hands a lot at my job (working at a doctor's office) but I can go a whole 8 or 9 days at least with a regular polish manicure and my nails still look flawless.
