The biggest tip I can give: always book an appointment--the service is way better when you do. Jenny is amazing with designs (hands down the best!), and her partner Andy does the cleanest polish jobs. They're both super professional and clearly know what they're doing. I've had a few hiccups here and there--like once I paid $70 (plus $10 tip) just to get my nails taken off and filed. My nails ended up super brittle and honestly, it felt like a waste. I wouldn't recommend that service--just get them redone instead. Also, I've been cut before to the point of bleeding (not with Jenny or Andy, but another tech), so just a heads-up. That said, most of the staff here are really good: Sofia is gentle and cleans my nails better than anyone else, even Jenny sometimes. Hannah takes her time and does a great job--super patient and detail-oriented. Julie knows her stuff and is really steady with her work. Sometimes Jenny can feel rushed, so I rotate between techs depending on how I'm feeling and what I want done. At the end of the day, I definitely recommend Nails Allure. The shop is bright, clean and inviting I have had wonderful reactions with staff in the past. However with the past two visits, I have experienced a nightmare with Tracy. . The first time she tried to talk me into getting a nail dip. I explained to her that my nailbeds were weak and my dermatologist would not allow that. I told her I just wanted a regular manicure. She told me that my doctor did not know what he was talking about. she continued to say over and over again that the dips are the best for your nails. At that time, I told her to stop the discussion. I did not want to argue with her about my doctors advice. She acted like she was more knowledgeably than my dermatologist. The second time I had an experience with Tracy' was concerning an appointment that I made by telephone. I called and someone answered the phone and said that I could get my brows done and a pedicure at 11:15. At that time it was 1045, so I waited around the house before I started out. When I got to the shop, I was told that II could not get the two services. Tracy was the one who took the appointment but evidently a walk-in came and she ditched me. So I was able to get my eyebrows done by Azi the hair stylist. She did a wonderful job. She did a wonderful job on my .There was no one to do my pedicure. Tracey told me to come back at 3 PM. Because she took the walk-in and probably had another appointment after that she ditched me. She wanted me to come back in the afternoon at 3 PM. I her that I was not even supposed to be driving yet. However, she told me she could not take me. And I just have a warning anyone visiting that shop and over the phone with , you might not be waited on when you get there. Tracy is not a good asset to this convenient and wonderful nail shop.
