Elderberry Macaron, Mango Chiffon cake, Turkey sandwich and large Strawberry & Creme Croissant
    Patricia E.

Absolutely delightful little, unpretentiously located sweets boutique. Hot and cold drinks available, including bottled Perrier. Order at counter, pick up at counter. Went looking for ice cream and found something better. Food/dessert menu seems to rotate. Customers inside were mostly two to a table, and atmosphere was quiet and welcoming. We ordered a turkey sandwich, which had to be the best we've ever had, complete with crisp lettuce, lots of hard-boiled eggs, a subtle sweet-ish dressing and tomato. $8 and it was well worth it. Our desserts consisted of a large croissant with sliced strawberries and whipped cream, an elderberry fresh made macaron ($3.50), and an AMAZING huge slice of Mango Chiffon cake ($7.25). (As we were leaving, they had just put out a Mocha Chiffon cake which looked to die for.) Service was quick since nothing had to be cooked and staff was pleasant and thanked us for our tip. Will DEF be back!

We decided to switch it up today from our usual and ordered the Strawberry matcha latte/ White chocolate latte, which were both delicious! I'm not usually one to be drawn to Strawberry matcha lattes because I'm afraid that it would take away from the Matcha, but I would rate this a 8.5/10! Not too sweet or overpowering. The White chocolate latte was also very delicious! The Almond croissant was also very good when warmed up, but I feel like it was lacking almond filling.

My go to study spot!!! I'm literally there everyday it's like I work there LOL! Their matcha is sooo good, definitely the best matcha in NOLA. Their earl grey is so delicious that it gets sold out most of the time (10/10 recommend). It's very spacious and study friendly (minimal outlets tho). The workers there are always so nice and began to memorize my order just by seeing me. Everything is reasonable priced and budget friendly. They even make cakes of all flavors with tons of designs. If you want to try matcha for the first time I definitely recommend this place!

Sausage croissant was amazing, I wanna try the curry puff pastry next time!!!

Great coffee shop on the wank, very nice staff and pretty good music too! They were playing my Grammy nominated friend Adrianne Linker when I sat down so they won me over pretty quick! Will be back to try the curry puff pastry for sure!

Beautiful wedding cake! Love, love their 4 layered, buttercream cakes, especially lemon cake w raspberry jelly and lavender w strawberry jam; the perfect amount of sweets! Also their basque cheesecake is sooo good. Highly recommend!

A hidden gem in the middle of a busy area! Their lattes are so good and I loved the banana pudding. It was a nice quiet area away from the noisy street. Took my sisters and niece there and we had a good time. Definitely recommend.

Le cafe eblouir 2112 Belle Chasse Hwy STE 1, Gretna, LA 70056 If you're a fan of strong coffee, that kisses the lip or crunchy pastries that make music to your ears, then hold and behold "Le Cafe Eblouir!" I definitely found this place by coincidence, and I'm glad I did! The Tiramisu latte and the Ham/Cheese crossaint were just O-M-G! I will definitely pass by this hidden gem again next time! #Tonylameats #lecafeblouir #gretnala #cafe #pastry #coffeeshop

They make a great matcha. I got their hot matcha latte with oat milk and no sweetener it was really good, not grainy and great flavor 7.5/10. I got a almond croissant as well it was okay not enough almond cream in the middle and overall too dry and I got it warm for optimum flavor but it wasn't hitting like I needed it to 6/10. The service was good, I sat down in the cafe to enjoy everything and read and really enjoyed the ambiance of the cafe. And they have specialty drinks they look like they change up. Look for the menu on the wall right of the cashier. I missed it the first time but definitely going back to try a pumpkin chia or something.

Iced matcha latte and tiramisu latte

My favorite cafe in the westbank. I love getting the tiramisu latte and iced matcha latte. The matcha here has to be one of the best. The service is always amazing when I come in. My family and I always order the cakes from here- specifically the strawberry chiffon cake. If you don't like overly sweet desserts, this is the perfect spot. It's the perfect amount of sweetness and fresh fruits.

The Vintage - New Orleans, LA…read more The Vintage on Magazine Street was our very first food stop in New Orleans, and it turned out to be a great way for my wife and me to start our trip. From the moment we walked in, I really liked the atmosphere. The place has a cool, relaxed New Orleans vibe with a little bit of an upscale café feel without being overly fancy. It's the kind of spot where you can come in, sit down, enjoy some good food and drinks, and just take your time. Of course, we couldn't come to New Orleans and not start things off with beignets! We decided to go with the Fancy Beignet Flight, which gave us a chance to try several different flavors. We got the raspberry, s'mores, and Chantilly. They came out looking almost too good to eat, covered in powdered sugar with all the different fillings and toppings. Almost... because we definitely ate them! They were warm, sweet, messy in the best possible way, and a fun introduction to our New Orleans food adventure. For my meal, I ordered the Italian Panini with the truffle Parmesan fries. The sandwich was packed with meat, cheese, and flavor. Looking at that cross-section, they definitely weren't being stingy with the fillings! The bread was toasted nicely, and everything worked well together. The truffle fries were another highlight. They had plenty of seasoning and Parmesan and paired perfectly with the sandwich. I also grabbed a small iced mocha, which went really well with the food and especially the beignets. One thing I really enjoyed about The Vintage was the atmosphere. The interior has a lot of character, from the marble tables and vintage-style flooring to the bar and pastry display. It feels like a place that belongs on Magazine Street. It was comfortable enough that we didn't feel rushed and could just enjoy being in New Orleans together. The service was good during our visit, and everything came together for a really enjoyable first meal in the city. Our bill came to around $48 after tax and tip for the two of us, and considering we had a sandwich, upgraded fries, drinks, and the beignet flight, I thought it was a good experience for the money. Most importantly, this place gave my wife and me a great start to our New Orleans trip. When your first stop includes a loaded Italian panini, truffle Parmesan fries, iced coffee, and a whole flight of beignets, you know the trip is starting off right! Definitely a place I would visit again. Great food, great atmosphere, and a great first taste of New Orleans. 5 stars from us!

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!

Food: Everything we tried was good as fuck. If you're into Asian snacks and street-food style bites, this place is definitely worth checking out. Anyways for Easter she asked everyone what they liked my brother specifically told her cars , and she got him Psoriasis shampoo as a GIFT ?????? while others got art set , makeup , etc. told him she got him the shampoo to take off for 2 weeks until he gets his condition under control. Mind you he sees a doctor on his own as he gets treated for this . She claims she got him this because it was a "health hazard" rather than asking him to get a hairnet or at least providing it for them. It wasn't a health hazard when she first hired him so why after 2 months of him working she decides to tell my brother to take off. She also proceeded to tell another employee "it was a health hazard and it could be getting into toppings and drinks so she told him to go home till it gets fixed if she sees improvement he can comeback if not, she have to keep trying???? with him. she said she swept it up and showed my brother, and she called his condition "snowflakes". Psoriasis is not contagious and poses no direct health hazard to coworkers in a workplace. On top of that disgusting idea of a gift she asked another employee in front of my brother if he was slow. Was also told the other employees are allowed to take small breaks when the room is empty meanwhile she always gives my brother more tasks than others. She also sends them home for small stupid reasons one of them being her messing up a drink and blaming it on them and when told to look back at the cameras she throws a tantrum and sends them home mid shift. She also texted him i'm a vicitm in this situation apology which I will have attatched. This is cross posted everywhere and will reach many people as I can reach.

I'd literally been told I had to go here so many times that by the time I landed in New Orleans, I pretty much made a beeline straight for this legendary cafe. This cafe is located right outside Jackson Square right off the waterfront. They are open late, as they close at either 11p or 12am every day. When we went in the middle of the afternoon, the place was very busy as it was hard to find a table in their outside patio, so we settled for a table in the indoor section(A/C SCORE!!). The ground was littered with powdered sugar as customers like myself don't always understand how to eat these beignets without making a big mess. The beignets themselves were pretty inexpensive as they cost only $4.53 for a 3-pack. I also got a large frozen coffee for $7.70. The beignets were delivered to our table very fast and very warm. The movie "Chef" says you only get your first bite of your first beignet from Cafe Du Monde once in your life and to cherish the moment and I do truly understand what they meant with that quote. These beignets were so great and that first bite with the powdered sugar explosion was so amazing-I really enjoyed the recklessness of having a beignet at Cafe Du Monde. Overall, I feel that anyone who visits New Orleans has to find their way to this legendary cafe and enjoy this dish that has been served since 1862. A really great bite!.

The beignets were dry and lacked flavor, and instead of a nice dusting of powdered sugar, there were huge clumps of it piled on top. Powdered sugar can't make up for a dry beignet. I understand Cafe Du Monde is an iconic New Orleans stop with tons of history, but based on the food and coffee alone, I just don't understand the hype. There are much better beignets in New Orleans. Service was average very touristy Overrated, disappointing, and definitely a one-and-done for me. I wouldn't return.
