If you are here just for the hookah than this spot offered some of the best hookah flavor and pull I have had. The drinks I ordered there definitely tasted watered down don't know if this is a regular thing though. And the music was more of Middle Eastern descent which isn't a problem but switching it up would definitely help the vibe, when you get inside it's very clean and tidy. This is my second time coming here. The first time I was here I received superb service and superb hookah although it could've better. This time the staff really out did themselves. The service was 5/5 as my party was taken care of everything we needed.They didn't hover over us and at the same time didn't forget we were there. The hookah and drinks were great too. 5/5 as well. My girlfriend got two apple martinis and I got a sangria and a sake shot. Portions were fair. Taste was great and didn't feel like we got shorted on our drinks. The hookah was great too. Last time I felt my hookah was slightly ghosting from other flavors but I didn't have this problem my second time. Music was really good, a good mix of r&b, Latin, Jamaican and the dj took request, nice touch. One of the worst hookah spots I've been to. And I say hookah spot loosely. Walk in, and wait fifteen minutes to place a drink order at the bar. FIFTEEN MINUTES. Think about that. I could have saved in car insurance. Instead, I'm staring at turned off TVs at 830pm at a bar. What irritated me about this place...if you notice, as of Dec 2015, if you check in and order a drink, you get a free shot. This place also offers a 15 for 30 deal. I took advantage of both. Nowhere does it say that these deals are either or I.e., I would have to choose. But of course, the single person that I saw staffing the establishment (owner?) made this a very big deal. After asking if he was sure, he proceeded to pour the water shots for me and a friend, insisting he was "breaking" the rules. Seriously? Built in gratuity is annoying, especially when it's a party of three. Way to make new customers, never again customers. Two stars because I've been to worse establishments in my life...but that's not saying much. No food except for "grape leaf" wrapped rice and some freezer mini tacos. Hookah lasted 20 minutes, no refills offered on coal. Don't know why the Manhattan location is now closed, but this kind of tomfoolery would be a reason. read more

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO HERE! WORST LOUNGE EVER. I went for my birthday celebration, booked online through google. There were 7+ people within my reservation. When I first arrived, I noticed the place and seating looked very run down. The ambiance was slightly there but thrown off by literally everything else after we started being serviced. The drinks were expensive in cost & cheap in quality (watered down & very ineffective), poor hookah and hookah service (we had to keep calling someone over to fix it & fit it ourselves), as well as tiny portioned food. The food looked like they just remade freezable snacks you buy from the freezer aisle at Walmart or Bj's and up-charged us $5+ for it; mind you the portions are extra small... 5" pizza for $5.50 & 5 mini "tacos" that weren't even two inches big for $5+. The DJ was very bad. He came around 10pm and had a terrible time trying to read the crowd; barely played half of any song (I swear it was like 30 seconds of each song). The first thing our waitress mentioned to us was to write a POSITIVE review on yelp.... Which I have no problem doing if I had a great experience, however, I did not. My waitress constantly asked us if we wanted more drinks or food... only to take 20+ minutes to return with our order of drinks and 30+ minutes to return with the literal FREEZER SNACKS they bought at Walmart or Bj's. When my friends and I were over the wack DJ, poor hookah, and weak drinks, we decided to leave. I was given the check, and I gave them my card. They took my card & then came back to say they do not take cards. Nowhere on their website, yelp, or google page states that they are a CASH ONLY establishment. Neither me or my guests were aware of this policy. Our waitress did not make us aware of this policy & gladly kept on running up our bill. When the waitress gave me back my card, she just walked away and did not help at all, very rude. I got up and asked her where am I supposed to get cash? She directed me to an ATM in the front of the lounge. I do not use unknown ATM's. So I had to leave my guests there, to go to the bank, and then to come back and pay them. Overall, my experience here was trash and I feel like they took advantage of the large group and cash only policy. I feel like they should verbally let every customer know about the policy before they even take the first order. I strongly suggest NOT going there. Worst lounge I've ever been too. I found this spot as I was looking for a nearby hookah spot that was indoors. It was a rainy night during the pandemic and Le Caire was the winner. We came on a thursday night and it was a little busy but definitely not crowded. Every group was in their own couch section and a few people at the bar. Keep in mind if you are coming for drinks, you must order food from their tiny selection of apps that they just pop in the toaster for you (mozz sticks, chicken fingers, etc) We had just ate dinner somewhere else, so we passed on the drinks. Hookah was pretty cheap compared to other places $20. There was only one lady that seemed to be working that night so she must've been overwhelmed with taking orders and working the "kitchen" herself, but due to that, the service was not that great. We had to wait around for over 20 min to get our check. Also, masks were not worn for entry or by the bartender do if you are more cautious/anxious about covid, I wouldn't come here. I was here last night with a couple friends and had a GREAT experience. It was my first time, the good deals brought us in but the excellent staff made us stay. Although they were training a new person, the staff was able to keep up with a packed crowd. My drinks came fast and were always perfectly mixed. They are always taking care of you and are very attentive making sure you have a drink and your hookah is hitting well. The hookah has been great every time I've been here. I planned a little bday celebration all with the help of Basem, the owner of Le Caire Lounge and from the very beginning to the very end, everything went amazingly well! My friends and I ordered 2 hookahs: Lemon Mint and Coconut Mint. Both with an ice hose. I was a bit hesitant trying the lemon mint only because the ones in Steinway are so awful. But I tried it anyway and to my luck, it was fantastic! Even my brother, who ordered it, couldn't believe at how smooth and tasty it was! Onto the coconut mint. Extremely smooth like the lemon mint. You can taste just a hint of mint and a bit of coconut so it doesn't bother you but still want to continue smoking it. I always smoke Blue Mist but coconut mint could be my new flavor now! It also lasted about 4 hours without any problems. All we did was ask to have the coal changed about 2 or 3 times. 4 hours!! The food is basically appetizers. We ordered the mini tacos which are roughly the size of a boneless wing. So if youre hungry, i highly recommend you get at least 2 orders for yourself. We ordered about 4 orders of them and they were good! Just something to snack on while we had our drinks. Onto the drinks! Whether it be top shelf premium drinks or house specials and well drinks.... the bartenders (and Basem himself!) know how to whip up a good drink! I had requested open bar which included well drinks, beer, and wine and the drinks he and his bartender made were great! I completely forgot that my vodka cranberry wasn't made with Grey Goose! My friends couldn't even tell and they said their drinks were great. Smooth, tasty drinks and not feel so hungover is a great reason to come to Le Caire also =) Finally the place overall is just great. The DJ came by around 9pm and spun everything. Pop, Hip Hop, Indian, Arabic.... it was great. A few people even got up and danced! My friends couldn't believe that a hookah lounge with such city quality could be in Long Island. I appreciate the business being open and operating late hours as most places are not right now, however they should keep the outdoor seating open until they close. They usually close the outdoor at 11pm. But for those who want a little more space and some fresh air it would make the ambiance much more appealing. Also the music could be better. I'm not sure if this is management problem or not but my friends and I did NOT have a pleasant experience. First we came for happy hour, and the bartender said we could not sit anywhere else but the bar to get happy hour deals even though we had 4 people and there was NO ONE else at this place. We wanted to sit at a table and talk and have good time but we had to sit at the bar and not be able to talk or see each other. We ordered drinks, which were ok but our hookah was so bad. This was probably the worst hookah I've ever had. They had to "try" to fix the hookah 3 times. It was unreal. I don't recommend this place. We got the coconut hookah with mint, tastes smooth and amazing! Great service and easy lounge Arabic music. Not too loud that you can't have a conversation. If you're in the mood for a great Indian Hookah lounge with up-to-date music selections come to Le Caire. Drinks are okay and decently priced ($4-$9). Their finger foods are good too. They have great hookah flavors, including my favorite, Peach Mint. The hookah is priced between $17-$19, so not a bad price compared to the Hookah Bars in Manhattan that are $30 and up. If you're with a group of people be sure to give the staff a heads up that you're splitting the bill. The vibe and overall ambiance is very chill and dimly lit. The service is great, the two guys that my friends and I encountered were friendly and hospitable! Came here for a birthday and received the WORST service i've ever encountered, at one point we stated we were not happy with the service and would be leaving if it didn't improve and one of the bartenders said okay you can leave. The only reason we even went was because we had a nice experience another weekend at the same exact lounge and told our friends about it to come, so you cannot imagine how embarrassing it was to receive the service and attitude we did. Never, ever coming here again, especially after reading the owners response to another customer below stating the customer is self centered? your customers are paying to be at your establishment!! This place is amazing! It's like having a true city hookah bar right here on the island instead. Nice relaxing and chill atmosphere. My date and I loved it! A friend and I came here on a Saturday night. Only a few people were here, but our bartender, Sam, gave us incredible and attentive service. We chose to mix mint and Blue Mist and it was a good call. The music was a nice mix and not too loud so we could hear each other and speak without yelling. The ambiance is incredibly chill and the decor is very nice. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. We used a Groupon $18 for $40 which was received with no problem and even received tasty shots on the house! Sam makes an incredible Blue Hawaiian!
