We ordered horchata coffee, cookie butter latte, croque madame, classic breakfast sandwich, chocolate croissant, with potatoes gratin and fruit. Yum! I mean, everything was delicious, savory, and rich. The croissant was buttery and flaky, it melted in your mouth. And their potatoes gratin, oh.my.god! So, so, so good. A definitely must have item. This place is a gem! I took my best friend here to have breakfast for her birthday. It was a gorgeous cool morning, so we sat on the patio instead with plenty of shade. We both enjoyed our meal. If feels like a coffee shop due to it tiny size, but their food packs such a big punch with their freshness and flavor, you'd begin to realize it's actually a small restaurant. There is a sign that says please order before finding a seat. However, no one was following it since the place was busy. Neither did we...however we were the only people asked to vacate the table. We were so lucky we found this tiny bistro in Old Town. Fortunately the wait was too long at another place and we ended up here. I had the crepe with berry filling and it was the most tender crepe I've ever had. Magnifique! I also tried my friend's caprese quiche and it was also super yummy. The portions were perfect too. The set up is a little odd because when you first walk in there doesn't look like there's any seating but the very warm and friendly staff told us that the dining room was just next door. The Béchamel sauce and Black Forrest ham in Madame's Crispy Egg sandwich were simply excellent! The delicate crust of the Quiche Lorraine was tender. The Potato's Au Gratin were perfectly baked and encrusted. The cheeses throughout were very tasty and I would like to know what they were. Much thought has gone into quality and execution--and the owner is to be commended. The number of serviceable tables should remain limited--or it will be very difficult to maintain any semblance of quality. Cost Benefit Analysis: Excellent value for cost (though a bit pricey). We were in town for a volleyball tournament and we found this gem in Temecula. We ordered the ham and cheese omelette and it was amazing!!! You can taste the quality of every ingredient. Also tried a couple of their popular croissants--chocolate and ham & swiss--and nodded at the option to have them heated up. My husband and I love to try local coffee shops for our weekend morning dates and we stumbled across this one because of yelp. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. This coffee shop is small but has seating inside and outside. We opted for outside since the weather was nice. I ordered an iced vanilla chai tea and my husband order a cappuccino. For breakfast, I ordered the French toast and my husband ordered the breakfast sandwich which you can customize. My French toast was so so so good! It had blueberries, strawberries, black berries, and cranberries! It was so fresh, not too sweet, just the right amount with the whipped cream on the side. It's not like other French toast, it somewhat reminded me of bread pudding! My husband's breakfast sandwich was awesome as well!! It was like an omelette served in a toasted croissant with fresh fruit on the side. He had cheese and ham and he was so pleased because the eggs were just the way he likes them and not over cooked. It is in the heart of Old Town Temecula so parking is sometimes a pain, but we were able to find street parking quickly. I can't wait to try the rest of the items on the menu! Great little French cafe. Outdoor seating only, gives it a real European ambiance. Really good lattes. I had the white rose latte. It comes with 1 1/2pumps of rose so I asked them to just do one pump. I don't like my lattes too sweet so I really like how it came out. It was not too sweet and the rose was nice and subtle. My daughter had the lavender mocha latte. She likes trying lavender lattes at different cafes and likes her lattes on the sweeter side. She asked for an additional pump of syrup in her latte. She said it was one of the best lavender lattes she's had. For breakfast, I had the Lorraine quiche with potatoes gratin. It comes with a small side of salad with a nice light Dijon dressing. The potatoes had a tad hint of citrus taste which could of been lemon? I thought it complemented the ham and cheese quiche nicely. My daughter had the waffles. They were thick and light and made with a nice rich batter. We were both really pleased how great both dishes were. You place your order at the counter, and you are given a number display card to facilitate the delivery of food to your table. There is an intriguing menu with a nice French twist on omelets, breakfast sandwiches, quiche and crepes. We had spinach quiche, a mushroom quiche and splurged on a crepe with Nutella, strawberries & bananas. The quiche were offered with a side of fresh fruit or a decadently delicious serving of "Au gratin potatoes", DON' T miss those! Mmmmmm.... The quiche were beautifully served, fluffy, cheesy and nicely sized for breakfast. Serving sizes are very appropriate, don't expect to be taking leftovers away. We also had an amazing cappuccino that was beautifully presented. Rich, full flavored and brewed exactly right. The busy staff were very friendly and never hard to gain their attention.
