I visited Le Coin for brunch on a Saturday with a friend. Staff was nice and friendly. We shared the omelette, waffles, and granola for the table. The dish presentation was wonderful. The food was pretty good but I thought the granola wasn't really worth it since I could recreate it at home easily. Same goes for the omelette, but there are times like this when you don't feel like making them yourself so you get it somewhere else.

Had a great time at Le Coin! The brunch menu was incredible and the servers were very attentive. I'm excited to go back to Le Coin in the future!

This place is great! Good service, perfect ambiance of upscale casual, and of course great food! Most recently this has become my favorite spot for a fancy burger and fries, but their desserts and other items are great too.

My go-to date night spot. Get the oysters and mussels. Service is fast and friendly, and if they have it, get the adult slushies. They have a particular good happy hour as well. The steaks are also fantastic. I wish for their bread service (which is pretty expensive for what you get) I wish they would at least... warm or heat up the bread a bit.

Had dinner at Le Coin and I must say this is a great French Bistro type setting in the Fremont District of Seattle. At a quick glance the menu screams local seafood focus. For example they had king salmon and local oysters as options. Just a smart way to support local businesses and offer very fresh options. Also they specialized in Chartreuse liquors. I'm not super familiar but their Strawberry Old Fashioned was a great sweeter take on a classic. The table had a variety of appetizers to start: Bread with cheese upgrade, Oysyters, Octopus and Salmon Tatare. All were delicious. The oysters were definitely fresh and had a few mignonette sauces. My favorite was the octopus. it was grilled and accompanied with a warm vegetable and beans. Nice on a cold night. My main course was the NY Strip with Demi glaze. The glaze went with my Cote Du Rhône wine selection. The steak itself was perfectly cooked and tender, but the glaze was a little sweet. The accompanying mushrooms were yummy as well. The service was friendly and kept a good pace. Multiple folks checked on us and cleared things appropriately. Overall a great place I would make a regular if I lived in Seattle. PS The profiteroles were bomb. Definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful HH and dinner at Le Coin tonight. The food was so good we kept ordering and ordering. Got 3 rounds of oysters, 2 rounds of Brussels sprouts, 2 rounds of mussels, lamb shoulder, pork pete plate, tomahawk steak, sable head fish, truffle pasta and frites! I'd say the oysters were so fresh and the garlic vinaigrette that came with it helped balance the earthiness of the shellfish. My son loved the mussels, he almost didn't want to share. I loved the Brussels sprouts. It was browned and have a lovely red wine glace on them. It was sooooo good! The entire dinner was very nice. This place get filled up very quickly. I think a reservation is a must.

I'm waffling between a 3 and 4 star for my recent visit. The restaurant has not changed in the last few years. Same layout with lots of space. They do take reservations but require a deposit per head. Its not a bad thing to have though as they got busy on a Saturday night. I was there with a party of 6 and a couple of our party where late. I think that may have been the issue. The food was amazing as always. Drinks where well made. The main issue was the server. They where extremely short and brusque. They gave the impression that we where an inconvenience to them and taking to long. That was not the level of service I was used to at Le Coin.

Le Coin is a French restaurant that is accommodating to all types of price ranges - from nice deals at happy hour to tasting menu formats. I heard good things about the food here and wasn't in the mood for a spendy meal, so my friend and I went here during happy hour which happens 4-6pm. We made a reservation just in case and showed up early but they still accommodated us since it's not busy. We got the Le Coin frites, half dozen oysters, pork rillettes, and grilled lamb shoulder to share. The frites (fries) is very flavorful with rosemary, so just fries without anything is already a good dish. The bone marrow aioli topped up the flavor though it is a bit muted compared to the flavorful fries. The oysters were pretty good - they're the large ones which I'm not a big fan of but it was fresh and not too strong of a flavor so it was fine. Besides the mignonette, they had another sauce that's like soy sauce based which I liked more. Pork rillettes is more like acquired taste since while they prepared it well, I didn't particularly enjoy it. The dish is fairly balanced with sourdough bread, pickled vegetables, and salad. Grilled lamb shoulder is delicious. It's quite small in comparison to the other dishes, but I would happily order this again. It's served medium rare which is my preferred done-ness for red meats. Service is very good. We got checked up on a few times without feeling too overbearing and the water refills were constant. I had a positive experience overall, and I would happily come back for a more spendy format or even try the rest of the happy hour dishes again!

We went to Le Coin for my boyfriends birthday and oh my gosh the food here was exceptional! I've never had food quite like this before, the tomahawk steak in particular was absolutely divine and was lately so beautifully, everything was presented so intentionally it was almost too pretty to eat! The service was also very good, our waitress was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the whole night! This restaurant is kind of tucked away but once you walk in it's like you're transported somewhere else completely! I didn't know you could even find somewhere like this in seattle honestly, the vibes were immaculate! It's a bit dark and moody but the lights illuminated the food in such a perfect way as if they had little spotlights on them! It was a bit expensive but so worth it for a celebration! Parking was challenging to find but just come a bit early and carpool!

Cute little restaurant! We ordered the Wagyu steak, oysters, grilled octopus, french onion soup, and the trofie pasta. And bread of course! Bread & fig butter: 5/10 the fig butter was to die for but the bread was incredibly stale and if you're charging $10+ for some bread it better be at least fresh and toasty. I did love the intentional addition of pickled onions with the fig butter however! Oysters: 10/10! Very fresh and loved the pairings that came with it. French onion soup: 10/10 genuinely one of the richest ive tried. The flavor was very developed and it was just a perfect bite. Grilled octopus: 6/10 had charred bits that added a great flavor but wish it was more consistent throughout the entire octopus. The greens paired very well and the sauce also added a nuttiness that was hard to forget. Also was a bit salty. Wagyu steak: 7/10 the portion was a bit small but the reduction paired extremely well with the steak! Fries were okay, not much flavor or crispiness but could tell it was made fresh. Pasta: 2/10 although lamb is known to be a bit gamey, in my opinion it was overpowering the dish. The smell was not very pleasant, and while the noodle shape was cute, it was a bit undercooked. I enjoy a great al dente pasta but this was a bit below that title. This was the only dish of the night we didn't eat. Overall, while this restaurant satisfied our hungry stomachs, I wouldn't come back because appetizers outshined the main entrees. The service was also unmemorable. It was a nice experience though!

Celebrated my birthday her last night and it was great! Food was delicious and well portioned. My only thoughts of critique are for the octopus ~ its grilled but they put a bunch of garnish on top so it takes the "grilled" crunchiness away (which is my fav part of a grilled octopus) I don't drink, but indulged in some mocktails that were also delicious but the Faux 75 tasted like a vinegary plastic ~ but the others were YUM. Would highly recommend adding some vegan desserts! Wasn't able to have any of those unfortunately

Le coin is great. It's French-inspired, and you can tell they prioritize quality. We recently did the chef's tasting for a birthday (pictured), and each dish was as beautiful as it was delicious. Brunch is my personal favorite. As someone who isn't usually a "breakfast person," I love their ability to balance savory flavors without being overly heavy. The Le Coin Toast paired with a French press is my go-to, while my husband, who prioritizes quantity, highly recommends the chicken and waffles. The atmosphere and service is good, but you come here for the food.

This was an interesting experience as it was a mothers day brunch for us and we decided we wanted something a little different, Le coin was recommended as a great mothers day brunch spot and so why not! We were received warmly and guys please please please, be nice to your wait staff, they are trying their very best, especially on these occasions. Our hostess was a little shocked by whatever transpired before we came and still had the biggest small and welcome for us, well done Le Coin staff. The restaurant itself is quaint on the inside with lots of tables and booths and outdoor tables as well. The food was a little hit and miss and by that I mean, there wasn't anything there that I had that I would like to have again, it might very well have been our choices so I wouldn't rule it out entirely, but let's get to the food and take it from there Apple Fritters 5/5 these bad boys came out hot and steamy exactly the temp you want your fritters, burn your mouth off yum! I would say they were around 5/6 pieces and my husband swears the apple butter was something out of this world Chicken and Waffles 3/5 I love me a good chicken and waffles and this promised to be something good, my only issue is when something to the plate is added that is not on the menu. So when my dish came out with a swirl of fruity/berry sauce and I am very averse to sending a dish back, I ended up trying to eat around it which was difficult. Aside from that the chicken was cooked well but lacked anything that made it drool worthy, the waffle itself might have been better served if it was the Belgian Waffle instead of the cornmeal. It was simply a lackluster dish Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwich 4/5 Kid absolutely loved the sandwich, spice level, cook, size absolutely yum, the only thing needed was a crunchier coating for the chicken Le Coin Burger 5/5 my daughter ranked this as in her top 3 best burgers and she does like a good burger, cooked exactly as ordered and tasted great Cassoulet +Lamb 3/5 The flavors in this dish were on point! Two issues those, more care needs to be considered when adding lamb pieces as a larger piece was not edible, and there really needed to be some bread to soak up all those yummy juices. All in all it wasn't something we'd order again A cute little establishment with great potential, not anything id be in a rush to visit again

The salmon dip was good, lots of dill, and the chips were crispy. The fried fish sandwich was light, which was nice for something fried, and the roll it was on was soft and warm. The black cod kasusuke was my favorite dish of the meal. The black cod was tender and fell apart, and it was seasoned so nice. It came with a spinach salad and rice which was also delicious. As a Japanese American I love all the fresh raw fish tostadas especially the Tuna the salsa macho on this dish is delicious deep in flavor and texture but doesn't take away from the fish itself. When the cooler weather came they started adding hot dishes which do not disappoint and live up to the flavor and quality of the rest of the menu. The torta generous and definitely great for someone with a large appetite. The Aguachile and Tostadas are on the lighter side but still filling. I will almost always get a special if it's available. When Oysters were in season they were very popular. It's always fun to see what Bo comes up with for seasonal ingredients. Also don't forget to try their Michelada you buy it on the La Marea side and grab your beer on the Fair Isle side it's usually paired with their corn lager our house la

So when I woke up still craving shellfish, RockCreek was the call. It was the right one. A dozen oysters to start: Kumamoto and Shigoku. Clean -- no grit, no sand. Whatever they're doing back there, it's working. The brine was full and present in every shell, and the mignonette hit that rare sweet spot of light but actually seasoned. The Winter Old Fashioned? Get it. It was so delicious. Then came the crab Benedict. The side salad alone was worth writing home about -- big, buttery, peppery leaves draped in one of those feather-light vinaigrettes that sounds simple until you try to replicate it at home and realize you can't. But the real star of the entire plate was the potatoes. Crispy outside, genuinely fluffy inside, seasoned with conviction. A masterpiece is not too strong a word. Closed with a glass of pink wine. Was eyeing the bottle with the piglet on the label, but it was bottle-only -- a distinction I find increasingly arbitrary as a former server and bartender. One day that policy will be a relic. Not yet, apparently. Best brunch I've had in Seattle in two years. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the calamari, paella and lingcod and fries. Everything was shareable and delicious. The menu online has not been updated with the current prices, but it's still a good value. Welcoming staff and friendly service. It was a hot day, so we opted to sit inside, but they do have outdoor seating.
