    Mussels (Not fresh)
    Evan Y.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We visited with a reservation and immediately appreciated the restaurant's atmosphere. The space is inviting, the service is warm and attentive, and the seasonal menu is thoughtfully curated with several interesting selections.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the house bread, appetizers with mussels and bread, followed by the Dungeness crab rice and salmon. Presentation was appealing throughout the meal. The crab rice was generously topped with crab and accompanied by crispy fried asparagus and piri piri, while the salmon featured subtle Japanese influences that added character to the dish. Unfortunately, the execution did not match the creativity of the menu. Nearly every dish was noticeably over seasoned, to the point that the salt level overwhelmed many of the flavors. The mussels were particularly disappointing, lacking the freshness one would expect from a seafood-focused dish. The house bread was also quite dense and dry. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, this feels like an excellent venue for drinks, conversation, and a relaxed evening out. The atmosphere and hospitality are undeniable strengths.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, from a culinary perspective, the experience did not leave a strong desire to return.

Booked dinner at this fine dining restaurant featuring new American style and seafood. I liked the bread service, and the sweet and fresh lobster inside my cuttlefish ravioli. Wasn't impressed by the crudo (such a teeny tiny amount of fish for such a high price, and the fish wasn't especially fresh, despite heavy salt and jalapeño I could still taste some fishiness) and the cuttlefish ravioli was overly creamy and overpowering. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall okay restaurant. Romantic vibe and interior but I would probably not be back again given the price and value[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very upscale spot with an interesting menu and vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bar was fortunately open as I dint have a reservation. The bartender was super informative and helpful with the menu and specials. I went with the fettuccine and was super pleased. The wiled boar and black truffle were the chefs kiss. Can't forget the bread and dessert. Hard to go wrong with bread and oil and the sugar pumpkin coffee cake. Don't be weirded out by the sour cream, it's super rich and flavor and everything complements itself. Good luck finding parking, I was able to fit my truck in a small garage a few blocks up the street. It's in a cool area with plenty of places for a night cap after your meal.

What a meal! My husband and I just booked a random date night here and we were pleasantly surprised! The bread serviced salad, bomba rice, and fettuccine were all delicious but my fave was the fettuccine! I do wish that the serving was bigger but the flavors more than made up for it! It is in the pricier side but I do understand that it's in Seattle and the ingredients and service are high-quality. I'd love to come back here for another date night!

I don't think I'll be back, but I did enjoy our meal we had. Our waiter wasn't super chatty, but very efficient. Nothing wow-ed me about the meal to make me want to come back. It felt very overpriced, but happy I got to try the spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience is perfect for a date night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I have been to Lark a number of times over the years. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really love the space they are in now. Great place for dinner with friends, a date, an event, or to sit at the bar counter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We held an event here just this past week in the mezzanine area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Exceptional food, service, and ambience was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Noise level is perfect because you're still in the restaurant so you don't feel like it's a strange isolated room, the way I have felt at other places when you do a private seating, but you can hear everybody and it's not loud at all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We arranged for snacks to start with drinks. Then the three course menu they prepared for us had options for everyone, carnivore, pescatarian, vegetarian. The execution of the food, the pace of the meal, nothing could have been better. Highly recommend for an event or for dinner in the main restaurant.

We visited Lark on a busy night and, since the restaurant was completely full, we were seated at the bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space itself is gorgeous. The interior decor is beautifully designed and has a really nice, upscale ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only major hiccup of the night was the service at the start; because it was so packed, we had some trouble getting anyone's attention to take our initial order. Once things got moving, though, the food arrived and was quite good. We ordered two mains: Neah Bay Halibut: This was the standout of the night. It was cooked absolutely perfectly, and I especially loved the scallion soubise sauce. It tied the spinach, sugar snap peas, and morels together beautifully. Wagyu Bavette Steak: Served with crispy potatoes, cherry tomatoes, and a toasted garlic parsley butter. It was decent. Some parts of the cut weren't quite as tender as others, but overall it was acceptable and flavorful. Despite the slow start with service at the bar, the excellent halibut and lovely atmosphere made it a 4-out-of-5 experience. I'd definitely come back to give it another try!

Lark is an okay establishment with very high prices. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is pretty, but not stunning[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], the service is good, but not great, and the food is interesting but lackluster - the cocktails however all around very good. The menu is a bit all over the place, which would be fine if the dishes were executed well, but they are not. The salad with ikura was fine, but lacked real perspective beyond just the ingredients - it had little flavor and unique direction as to where it would go. The arroz negre was fine - but so expensive for the quality, and not even close to the quality you would find in Spain! I would consider this place as a last minute spot for dates or work dinners. The churros at the end were just stellar

Fantastic night out for us at Lark. The venue is beautiful and spacious. Definitely kind of like a labyrinth walking around things but the drappings and decor are just stunning. Service by Steven was great from beginning to end. Made a solid recommendation on the rice dish which I loved. My wife really loved the pasta dish. We will be coming back in the near future!

Lark is a much larger space than what I had originally thought looking at it from the outside. It's warm and inviting with a feel of fine dining. The service was spectacular with lovely recommendations on what to eat and with what wine pairings. Food was equally as tasty too! My only caveat is while the food, experience, and local wine selection were great, the price point not so much

Thanks to the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, I decided to give this place a shot. The bread service honestly wasn't anything special besides the duxelle palmier that was unique. The balsamic vinegar and oil mixture tasted fine and the honey pimenton butter just tasted like regular butter? I was really hoping to get more of the pimenton flavor from that. Oysters weren't anything spectacular and I should have known better. They're cheaper at Taylor Shellfish since it's just shigokus. The presentation of the duck rillette was pretty, but the rye bread that it came with was unfortunately too thick and not crunchy enough so it made it hard to eat. I wasn't sure if they were just stale? The rillette itself wasn't as flavorful as others I've had but wasn't bad. Probably wouldn't get that again though. My partner really enjoyed the flavor of the Vichyssoise. She described it as a really creamy chowder. I was a bit disappointed by the fact that it barely had a piece of scallop in it for the price we paid. The wild boar fettuccini was good, but for $47, we were really hoping there was a bit more meat that went with it. If we didn't get so many sides, my partner would have likely left hungry. The special of the day NY strip was a big hit though. Cooked to perfection and was seasoned perfectly. I would go back just for that. Overall, I would say this place was just OK. If I didn't have the deal from the CSR, I'm not sure I'd come back to Lark.

If you're game than worth trying. Their menu consists of game as the focal point. Crudo was excellent with a tempura shishito leaf to add texture. Chawanmushi is a cold version next and soft and big portion Elk chop was nice and huge Wagyu was filling with the oxtail croquette Chef menu 4 items $125 everyone has to order but if you a little one. They can opt out.

We had an enjoyable meal at Lark. It was my first time at this restaurant and I was impressed by the service. We had a reservation but our table was not ready when we got there so we waited at the bar for a bit. They apologized and did not charge us for the 2 cocktails we ordered. The ambiance is pretty modern. We decided to order the tasting menu and it was good except the wagyu beef had a weird texture, looked like the cut was not ideal, it had a tendon that made it hard to cut but the flavor was good. From the tasting menu I thought the soup and the hamachi crudo were absolutely fantastic! Definitely the best part of the meal. The tres leches crème brûlée was great as well.

The pork belly was tender and fatty but the fat was nicely rendered so it wasn't chewy.
