Love this little European style cafe. We are staying at a hotel nearby, so having this cafe at walking distance is great! Have tried three different coffees and all have been excellent so far. The sweets are also really good. Love the crepes. The savory foods are also very good. Husband has the garlic shrimp omelette with polenta and it was amazing. Definitely recommend stopping by even if it's just for some coffee. Additionally the decorations and music make it feel like your in Europe.

Proprietor an outstanding pastry chef. Excellent omelette. Good espresso drinks. Well worth a quick stop if you get hungry while on I-295!

Great service, amazing food! Everything was fresh, and the establishment itself was very clean and cute. Outside seating options were a plus.

My first time there. They were a little late opening. The food was good. Placed an order to go. The woman that took my order seemed nice but the woman that brought my order did not. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what. Not sure if I'd go back. Edit: Just attempted to eat my steak omelette and couldn't because of the egg shells in it. I really wanted to like this place but I won't be going back.

Excellent food! Don't judge a book by it cover. This little quaint place takes you back in time to a little Italian cafe. Beautifully decorated and reasonably priced. We were a little hesitant since there were no cars out front of the establishment. Nevertheless we ventured on to try this 4.6 stars and boy were we impressed. I had the Belgim waffles. They were very light with homemade whipped cream. Light and fluffy just how I like it. Hubs had the veggie omelette. OMG the flavors were incredible. Definitely will return. If you are looking for something different and are a foodie like us, definitely try this place out!

So frustrating. Me and my girlfriend spent 20 mins trying to find a spot to eat up in Arlington just to find this one spot and we get there and they are closed. It's a Friday afternoon at 2:45 when their hours say 8:30-6:30. I am extremely frustrated lol as well the Apple Maps took us through the neighborhood right next to the restaurant which is not connected what so ever. Looks like a nice place to eat at but I guess we'll never know. Really unfortunate and annoying.

I am from out of town and was looking for breakfast places and stumbled up on this one. The food was absolutely amazing, best crepe I've had by far, the owner is so nice. Amazing service, cozy atmosphere. Had to come to eat here 3 times in the week I've been here. Definitely a must to go for breakfast.

We were immediately impressed when we went in; lots of dark wood and a long bar with shelves and shelves of spirits. There were mostly bourbons and whiskeys. They even had a rolling ladder so bartenders could reach top-shelf bottles. We had about a 10 minute wait for a table on a Saturday for lunch. The time went by quickly and we were seated at a small wooden table. Our server, Erin, approached us quickly and took our drink orders. I ordered a Blue Moon and my husband had the WC Old-Fashioned. It was made with Evan Williams 1783 Bourbon and he said it was quite good. ($13). For food; I had the Rooster Royale which was a fried chicken sandwich with pickles and hot honey BBQ sauce. It was $16.50, and one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had! Even the bun was delicious! I'd planned on only eating half; but I ended up eating it all because it was so good. I also had the homemade chips which were yummy too. My husband had the Reuben which was $19. He said it was really tasty and full of meat. He commented that it didn't get "mushy" or fall apart. He had the crispy potatoes as his side and he raved about those too. We really enjoyed our meal at Whiskey Cake and would definitely return. The only drawback I can think of is that they don't seem to have very many healthy lo-cal options.

The menu, though short with options did have a creative variety. We all tried the cinnamon roll, which I have to say was beyond, and I do mean beyond outstanding. In fact, it was the best cinnamon roll I have ever had with the toasted pecans and the sauce. WOW!! I ended up with the pancakes and eggs, and the eggs were cooked perfectly! The pancakes were were thick and had good flavor. It was a little overcooked for what I prefer, but overall, it was very good. We came in through the back since we wanted to sit outside. It was a little hot, but the outdoor area was still enjoyable with a big shade tree in the middle. Definitely a good vibe on the patio. We ordered our food and, for how slow it was inside, the wait felt longer than it should have been. The restaurant wasn't very busy at all, with more people sitting outside than inside. Unfortunately, most of the food came out lukewarm. My roast beef sandwich and potatoes were barely warm, like they'd been sitting for a while, and the bottom bread was completely soaked. Our daughter's grilled cheese came out with the cheese not even melted, so we sent that back along with my sandwich. The salmon and quinoa also arrived lukewarm. The fried fish was cooked too long in the fryer and wasn't great. The bright spot was the short rib tacos my wife ordered. She said those were really good and probably the best thing we had. I do want to give credit where it's due. Our server was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. He genuinely saved the experience for us and handled everything with a great attitude. Bathrooms were also clean, which I always appreciate. Overall, the experience was average. Not a top pick for me, but I'd be open to giving it another try in the future to see if things improve. Just wanted to leave an honest review of our visit.
