This is the first time that I've been to Ethiopian breakfast and ordered the combination plate at the waitresses recommendation. It was a combination of egg frittata and beans and injera cut up in small pieces. All the flavors were delicious but slightly on the bland side, my friend commented also that it was bland, but I wasn't sure if it was because it was my first time eating this dish. That picture has been there for many years. The attitude of both persons was the customer is wrong. Owned by a former White House chef and a French Embassy Executive chef, Chef Patrice offers deliciously hand-crafted madeleines that are glazed and free from any preservatives! I ordered a box of dozen madeleines (Strawberry, Orange, French Vanilla, Lemon, Pistachio, Oreo Cookie Topping, Salted Caramel, and Coconut), a financier, and some sables (French butter cookies), filled with Nutella, strawberry, and apricot. The madeleines were just SO good - they were soft, and I absolutely loved the glaze on the top! They last about a week, if you want to eat them warm, you can zap them in the microwave for about 5-10 seconds!
