Overall we had a great experience at La Savoie! It was a great group dinner spot and the staff was friendly and accommodating and explained the menu to us. We ordered the raclette and the broth option. The raclette was delicious and it's cool to have the fresh melted option all dinner. If we were to go back I think we would have ordered the oil option because the meat and seafood was not very flavorful (the dips did help though!). Unfortunately, the restaurant smelled like meat and so did our clothes and hair after we left.

The older lady with short black hair that works in this restaurant needs to be fired immediately. She is the rudest most horrible waitress/hostess I have ever encountered. We had a reservation which we called to confirm FOUR times after changing the time of it to be told it's 100% confirmed. After arriving and sitting for 30 minutes this witch came up to us to tell us we "lied about our reservation" and never made it. After locating it in her book she told me that the reservation was at 4pm and we were confused about ever changing it and never changed it. I then see that she had my name incorrect in the book the whole time, so how did they even confirm my reservation the 4x I called thThis went on for 10 minutes of her WAVING HER HAND IN MY FACE after I asked her to please remove her hand away from my face. She then proceeded to tell my fiancé he should see a therapist. On top of everything this was on Valentine's Day. Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. Oh and she proceeded to argue with another table after she was done with us. The food is mediocre at best- do yourself a favor and try somewhere else. UPDATE: upon walking out she said to my fiancé "never come here again" and proceeded to KICK HIM WITH HER FOOT while SHOVING him out the door!!! Insane. Every waiter there was in shock apologizing for this miserable woman. I've never witnessed such a thing in my life

    Raclette, so delicious.

This is an experience to enjoy. If you love cheese, you'll love this as it's a uniquely special dining event. My wife and I had dinner here on a recent ski vacation at the mountain, and wish we'd done this sooner. Yes, it's a little extravagant but if you like new experiences, and cheese, you really need to go. We decided on the raclette, which is an enormous half wheel of spectacular cheese imported from Savoie, France. The cheese is served with traditional Savoie accompaniments of cornichons, pearl onions, boiled yellow potatoes, dried meats, and bread. All of those are just things to eat with the cheese though. Melted, gooey, delicious cheese! The restaurant is a bit cramped, and chances are you'll be sharing a table with another couple. Service is excellent from the gregarious and charming staff who take the time to explain the menu, and treat you like family. Our waiter was a blast. If you decide to go, make reservations because it gets packed! Go have fun and eat some cheese!

Delicious and amazing...that is how I would sum up my experience here. My husband, 2 month old and I came here on a Tuesday evening. It was busy, but there was no wait. We ordered the Savoie fondue meal, which included various meats, pickles, sweet onions, bread and a very tasty salad. The meal was to die for. It was perfect after a long day in the cold. Our server was friendly and informative, and the restaurant is very charming. The only downside is that the meal is pricey...however, totally worth it in my eyes.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting Mont Tremblant. Really great place if you are visiting with a big group or family. The atmosphere is very cozy and the restaurant is right in the village! The staff is also extremely nice. I recommend making a reservation in advance because they do two services a night. It is very high quality fondue. They do make you order a minimum of one meal each (about $45) a person and definitely a large amount of food! A spot worth trying if you are visiting the area and a fun dinner idea!

    Racklette!
    Mary H.

My husband and I ate here after a long day of skiing. I thought it was going to be a traditional fondue place (cheese, meat, and chocolate). This was authentic French "fondue." We decided on the racklette because it was literally half a wheel of bubbly cheese! I almost didn't believe that it could be a whole meal, boy was I wrong. It starts with the salad. It was a simple salad with cabbage. It was good, however it was drowning in dressing. Then, we had a platter of prosciutto, salami, and another meat. Also potatoes, cornichon, and pearl onions. The bubbly hot cheese with these items were so delicious! It was hot, creamy, and the vegetable acidity cut through the fat. We wish there were more vegetables to break up the fat. We washed it down with a light Pinot noir. The service was great and come on, a half wheel of bubbly cheese! Maybe next time we will have something different.

    Great swiss wine

Excellent for Raclette & fondues. The "Ambitus" (swiss wine) is an excellent accord for the Raclette. The charcuterie is excellent but if you want another plate will cost you like 15$. Same for veggies for the fondue. The only part the you can eat all you want is the Raclette cheese itself. The service is very good and fast. Your clothes will be smelling cheese for a little while :)

I can only speak to the raclette since we didn't have the fondue here. It was our first time having raclette, so we have nothing to compare it to. We have had fondue several times. Pros: - service was fast - we were seated right away (came in June, maybe slow season?) Cons: - expensive for what it is - plain melted cheese over charcuterie (sliced prosciutto and salami), boiled potatoes and bread. Our bill was $120 for two people sharing raclette and one beer. I'm glad we tried it but likely wouldn't have it again (at this price). It seems like a large amount of money for food which requires zero preparation on the kitchens part. I could see though in the winter why people would want to eat this after a day of skiing, it's very rich and the space heater contraption that warms the cheese would make the dinner warm and cozy. They have high chairs for babies/toddlers - no kids menu.

The restaurant was quiet because it was Monday, a day that most restaurants are closed, and we really enjoyed the calm atmosphere where we could talk comfortably. So I figured if I went out to place that specializes in cooking it it would be great but that wasn't the case. I went here on a Thursday which happened to be ladies night which meant that for 24$ there's was a fixed menu with a salad or soup starter a fondue and coffee or tea. The price was very reasonable and I liked that the fondu that came with it was a mix of chicken beef and shrimp. Where the problems first started for me were at the amount of time it took to order revive water and wait time between courses it took close to 3 hours from the time we walked in to the time we paid for the bill. I found myself starving between my salad and the actual fondu, and when I had to ask the waiter for more dipping sauce it didn't actually get to me until the meal was over. The actual proteins themselves for okay at best the broth itself lacked in flavour and I've had better stuff at home in my living room. The highlights of the meal were the starters and the side of potatoes that came with the meal For the price of the food and the wait time you have a lot of other better options :/

La Fonderie is compact resto, so space can be precious but it's pretty decor makes up for it... so ultimately they've managed to to create an intimate environment that are great for dates as well as group outings. At the end of the meal, I'd definitely lean more on the group thing. Their menu was a bit difficult to fully comprehend so we asked the waiter for our options, he expertly and very nicely given us some great options. He probably gets this A LOT. I ultimately went with their "Maitre-Boucher" "Feast meal" which consisted of a : 1. Entrée of Swiss Cheese Fondue 2. House or Caesar Salad with their Famous Toasted Garlic Bread (I went with Caesar!) 3. Chinese or Bourguignonne Fondue of your Choice (I went with Chinese! With Filet Mignon of Beef, Chicken Breast, Filet of Porc and Marinated Lamb!) 4. Choice of Dessert or Dessert-Coffee (I went with their Fruits!) 5. Regular Coffee or Tea or Herb Tea (I went with Regular Coffee!) The Swiss cheese fondue was very good, the bread that came it was addicting to say the least. I'm glad to report that no cheese remained and we had to push away those evil bread bites as far from us as possible. The Caesar salad was only OK, the salad was alright but the dressing was flavorless and watery. The Garlic Bread was ONCE AGAIN there to entice me. WHY MUST YOU TASTE SO GOOD BREAD? WHY?! SHOO! The meat was served in 2 beautiful platters with a nice variety of sauces that you can dip them in. I really liked this experience but as we ate it seemed to drag on. This might be more enjoyable with a group of people who can chat profusely while the meat cooks slowly in the bouillon/fondue. The meats were fresh, looked great and tasted amazing. The variety of sauces were good and refills were easy to get. My fondue dessert consisted of a few fruits like bananas, pineapples, strawberries and the such in a small pot of delicious chocolate. I believe I found a new love of bananas in hot chocolate. OH MAMA! The regular coffee was upgrade to a cappuccino and it was good. Our waiter was friendly and very attentive to us, I believe when we told him we were on a date night while our daughter was back home being babysat he went out of his way to be very accommodating. Nothing but praise here folks! The price-tag is pretty expensive, so this may not be something I'd do very often unless it's for a special event. I'd recommend to try this place at least once. A few bad notes. We waited 15 minutes when we came in, we had reservations but no one was manning the hostess desk. So our table sat unattended all this time. Oh and another note, the parking was difficult to find say the least. I had to make a spot with my SUV at the far end of the parking lot.
