As for concerns about expired products, I can only speak from my own experience. A while back, an employee actually caught an out-of-date item during checkout before I even noticed it. They immediately removed it from the shelf, apologized, and offered me a discount on a replacement item. What impressed me wasn't that a mistake had happened, but that they took responsibility and made it right. No market is perfect, and occasionally an item may slip through from a distributor or be overlooked. What matters to me is how a business responds when an issue is brought to their attention. In my experience, Camas Market has always been gracious, responsive, and committed to taking care of its customers. I continue to shop there because I value the unique products, the wonderful bakery selection, the sense of discovery, and the people behind the counter who genuinely seem to care about the store and the community they serve.
