The owners Tony and Tiffany take great pride to make sure all their customer feel valued. I am amazed how they remember your name and greet you by your name when you enter. All the technicians do an excellent job. I always receive several compliments. I was very impressed with all the steps they have taken during the COVID-19 pandemic. They check temperatures, limit the amount of people in the salon, use floor stickers to maintain distance, everyone including customers wear mask.One way and and exist to avoid face-to-face contact. During my pedicure I felt a pinch and looked down to see bleeding along the medial edge of my big toe. She said nothing ( not even a "sorry")but applied some sort of coagulant to stop the bleeding and continued. 3 days later I have a raging infection under the nail bed (look at the photo if you dare)which has spread down the anterior aspect of my foot and I had to be put on antibiotics. It is extremely painful and it's hard to is not my idea of a quality pedicure to say the least!!! read more

I took it as a challenge to try a new salon every time until I found "the one" as I haven't been too impressed with services lately. Most salons rush their services and I end up having to fix my own nails at home. However, I had a really great time at this salon, and their work is exceptionally good compared to others. I had a tech named Sally, and she really took her time on my mani and pedi to make sure she got it all. She even went back and did touch-ups, which most techs don't even bother doing. Also, I went in there with my baby and all the ladies were kind enough to play with her and they were so joyful and kind to us. I've been here on numerous occasions in the past six months, and just when I noticed a decline in services, I had an experience like today that changed my mind about going someplace else. They are nice here and treats everyone fairly and with respect, but all of the manicurists are not created equally. Some do not do as well as others. Today Nenna did my Gel Manicure and Pedicure, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't just the color that's popping. She did a fabulous job, and I'm going to try to stick with her for a bit. My daughter and I have been here over a dozen times with varied reliability on the service. One experience with gel nails left me chipped after three days. When I returned they offered to fix it. I moved to powder nails on the next service to try to increase longevity. However, after three days they began to chip. When I returned to get them fixed I was told that happens and received a topcoat. It's frustrating to have to return to an establishment AND not receive the services you paid for originally. We may have found our new Cary nail spot! This place is fantastic. Clean, quick, efficient! There were many technicians available for my daughter and I to be in and out in a matter of a few hours. Shape was done well! I get a "pointy" almond and it's hard to not end up with stilettos or just plain almond shaped. WORST experience ever!!!! My eyelids were somehow waxed !!!! I asked for an eyebrow was and she smeared the wax all over my EYELID. I was curious as to why she was putting it so low but assumed she knew what she was doing Boy was I wrong. I have posted pictures of the results. The worst part is after I stood up she purposely hid the hand mirror from me and I felt pain so stepped aside and looked at the mirror in the wall. I started crying when I looked in the mirror. The manager came over and the women who waxed my eyebrows has the audacity to say that the red bubbles and bruising was already on my eyes when I came in. I usually get my nails done here and absolutely love it (they're so friendly) but today really surprised me. I made an appointment for 4 pm and the lady did my nails (gel manicure) . I look at my nails and let her know that this looks done poorly and that it's nothing like the picture I showed her (mine are super smudged etc). Very roughly she then tells me she's going to just take it all off...then tells me that I have to wait because she has other clients (I had made an appointment prior so I don't know why I was made wait when I wasn't at fault) she then tells me that I can just leave without paying but I told her I could pay I just needed my nails done instead of waiting because I had somewhere to be at 6. I left with my nails looking like this because she said she had other clients instead of fixing my nails. Very upset and let down! read more

I went to Pacific Nail last week for a "me" day for my birthday and I was highly disappointed. The tech I had (Kim) was on her cell phone using her air pods the entire time of my "deluxe" pedicure. I had to listen to Asian talk the entire time and was hoping for a quiet relaxing pedicure. My polish is already chipping and it looks horrible and I leave for vacation on Saturday. So disappointed and will probably not ever go back. Also got my nails filled in with dip powder, they are ok, tech talked in Asian to her coworker the entire time during my nails. I spent $110 and definitely did not have a relaxing time or quality service. read more

I went for a luxury pedicure for a special celebration. This lady was unpleasant and decided she's going to hate me for the entire time. She kept looking at me like she wants to punch my face. I tried my best to ignore this. She did not even offer water and the website says many fancy things that come with the package. The products she used looked as disgusting as her attitude with bright artificial dyes. Before starting she did not even tell me to pick the polish that I wanted. In the end Without even saying anything she took my shoes and threw it in the waiting area and disappeared and then I understood we were done. Have gone to Pacific Nails over several years, but I have received uneven service. Sometimes it's good; sometimes it's not so good. It just depends on who you get and how busy they are. Sometimes you go and get a manicure and pedicure and the tech is great and also gives a good firm foot massage. Other times for the exact same service you get someone else and they do the bare minimum and are on their phone and not paying attention to what they're doing; I don't like when a tech has sharp tools on your hands or feet and they aren't looking closely at what they're doing, or they are rushing and being careless, sometimes nipping your skin. That type of thing can happen here. The shop has a nice and open feel and initially looks rather spa-like when you walk in; the pretty lighting and Tiffany-blue walls in main room. But beware that the pedicure area is now very worn down; they clearly don't maintain the massage chairs as they barely work, and the whole area there in back just needs a major refresh and deep cleaning. I was horrified one day last month to see A ROACH crawling on a chair next to me. Now I know this is the South, but that was just unacceptable. I was midway through my pedicure so I couldn't leave; I just decided to try and unsee what I just saw. Yuck... One thing I really don't like is that they have questionable cleanliness practices for the nail tools and pumice stones. They reuse the pumice stone on feet, which can obviously harbor bacteria from previous customers. Also I'm not convinced that the sterilization they use on the tools is long enough to actually be sterilized. They DO bag the foot basins so each customer gets a fresh bag covering it, so that's good. I would also like to mention the owner's should insist on a clean and neat appearance from their techs. Their coats are often not super clean looking; even if that's not urgently important, as a business the owners should insist on a neat and clean appearance by all their employees. Some are; some aren't. Overall impression: the place has gotten a bit run down over the years. It was gorgeous when they first remodeled; it definitely needs a refresh (repainting) and a good deep clean throughout again. I'm giving 3 stars because about half the time is a good experience. Note to management: Use a new, clean pumice stone for each client! Deep clean your pedicure spa area! AND... when you have nail polish that's nearly empty or dried up: throw it away! Don't put it back on the shelf. read more

They've put all the right parameters in place due to COVID-19, working with masks and gloves, along with plastic partitions up at the manicure tables. I tried this place out off the recommendation from several people and I will probably never come back. First, my nails were cut so short they bled. After the first foot, i asked please don't cut them as short and she nodded and agreed and proceeded to cut the second even shorter. On both feet she actually took a chunk of my skin on my toe while doing my cuticles and had to hold gauze to them to get them to stop bleeding. However, she put a towel over both to hide what was going on. The polish job was so bad, that another technician had to stop and point out a spot she missed. My toenails are squares now. Secondly, after I paid and tipped, another woman stopped by the front desk and told us we had to pay an additional $10 because we had our previous polish removed. I've never heard of that before.
