We split a cinnamon roll, which is my idea of a near perfect cinnamon roll: sourdough flavor in the bread, just the right amount of cinnamon and sugar on the inside, and a nice glaze. The only thing I would change is maybe making it a little whole wheat, or adding some oatmeal or rolled oats to the dough. I'm weird that way. The only hot drink is coffee, which, even though I'm a tea drinker was fine. We split an Americano. my husband had a pleasant chat with the owner/sales person about the espresso machine. There are several nice looking, larger places on either side if anyone wanted something more substantial. If we're ever in the neighborhood, we will come back. I want to try that loaf of cinnamon swirl bread.

Over and beyond the call of duty, she made it possible to have the cake delivered on Friday as well! I know it was a great effort on her part, but I was thrilled she could make it happen. Tami is a delight to work with, and her cakes are most exceptional! She is a true artist and the birthday cake was scrumptious and expertly custom made. If you are going to be in Corvallis, you MUST go to Le Patissier. My wife was told by her sister who lives there that there was a great "French Pastry" place we should try. Well being French ( and from the city of Lyon ) I was a little skeptical about a small town in Oregon having a real Patisserie...... Boy was I wrong. This place is the real deal ! If you ever been to France and enjoyed the pastries there, you will definitely not be disappointed. My wife loves the almond croissants and when I meet Didier ( the owner ) he invited me to come in his kitchen has he was busy making some croissants. I joked that he was putting "too much butter" in the dough and he replied.... "You can never put too much butter ! " Yes, in France we use a lot of the good stuff ( and cream and cheese..... ). So now every-time we are in Oregon we go there as much as we can. I eat my croissant with my eyes closed and I dream that I am in Paris or Lyon or Antibes. YES it is that good !!! read more

This French bakery is superb. My Franc-phile friends say it is actually authentic. Their almost cream crousants are our favorite treat. The only probem is they often sell out early in the day. It's worth calling in an order. They are happy to hold ordered items for pickup. read more
