If you've read any of my previous Yelps you know when it comes to breakfast I'm a stick in the mud traditionalist. But not today. Today I had trout with poached eggs, hashbrowns and and English muffin. The trout was beautifully cooked, no bones other that what you'd expect and I feel smarter already starting my day with fish. My fiancé and I both agree that Le Peep's is one of our favorite breakfast places. We have been coming to this location for years and it is consistently excellent. Love the service, the owner, the food (highly recommend the biscuits and gravy, but I have never had a bad experience with any item I've tried). We used to go to LA Peep frequently. We will not be doing so any longer. There is one waitress there that is so bad that we will not go back. She is unpleasant and unprofessional. We sat at a table with her as the server. Between the abrupt service. Asking if we would like anything and before you can get a word out , she is gone, taking my husbands plate before he was finished. Just not at all good. I advised the manager of her behavior. A couple weeks later, we go in and are seated. Ends up in her section. She huff over to the manager and loudly proclaimed "they do not want me to wait on them'. We walked out, that was embarrassing and how she has a job after that display of unprofessional, I do not know. read more

They had the best gluten free waffles I have ever had! Our server said even people who are not gluten free come in to order it! It was light, fluffy, and had a nice crisp to the waffle. The gluten free waffle platter was huge and filled me up with leftovers. They have many coffee options as well, and we enjoyed a white chocolate latte with our breakfast. My 11-year-old got the stuffed French toast, loved it, and took half home. Our server was cheerful and knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions when we were undecided. Yummmmy! I have tried numerous items on the menu and they never disappoint. From the gooey buns to the oatmeal to the huevous rancheros, everything has been quite tasty. The location is not huge and sometimes we have had to wait but they are accurate on wait times. I've never waited more than 20 minutes. It's well worth the wait. If your looking for a yummy brunch or breakfast place in Longmont, this is the place to go. read more

Went here yesterday for breakfast. They were busy so we had to wait for about 20min. They were pretty friendly but I think they need more waiters. She put in my chai drink order and it took about 15-20 just to receive that. The food was pretty good. They cooked my boyfriends eggs overdone but our waitress noticed right away when she served him and immediately brought out fresh ones cooked the way he liked them. The portions are pretty big. We shared a lot of the food and we even had extra. The prices are a bit steep I would say, but we ordered a few extra things so $43 for a breakfast for two is not too bad. There wasn't anywhere really to stand or sit while we were waiting until they cleared it out a bit. They just need a bigger location and more help. There was a piece of plastic wrapper on my plate but I wasn't alarmed. The cooks just need to slow down a bit and take more attention to detail not to leave trash on people's plate. read more

This is my new favorite place for brunch. The food is delicious and the servers are really friendly and attentive. I appreciated the normal person portion sizes :) and all the options (including veg and gf). I treated myself to a Bloody Mary on my last visit and it was so good! Terrible. Everything is overpriced for the quality of food you receive. No actual butter is used in this facility. Everything is margarine, cheap mouth-coating oil. The potatoes were cold, the pancakes were crumbly, the "hollandaise" was more like yellow mayonnaise. To top it all off, the bill was as much as a good restaurant. Never again. read more

As another reviewer said "lackluster" and I think that is the best descripter. If you are looking for standard eggs, bacon, hash browns, and bread, then this could be the place, but the healthier options for breakfast are basically omelets made of egg whites with bread and potato choices. We all ordered different items, yet all of our plates came out loaded with tan food. Fresh veggies are nowhere on the menu and non-sugared fruit consists of a fruit cup laden with melon. I've been there twice in the past month on a weekday morning when there were very few customers. Each time the waitperson had to be tracked down to get service. The three waiters were busy gabbing, and one was even applying deoderant near the kitchen today. The food was good but the service was horrible. The restaurant was not busy and I was there for over an hour, working and having breakfast. My waitress came to the table three times: to take my drink order, to take my food order and bring my bill. She never asked if I needed anything else, if my food was okay, etc. Clearly customer service isn't important here. We visit Le Peep about once a month during the week to avoid the weekend crowd. Highly recommend the bacon avocado omelet- the green sauce is fresh, tart & not spicy at all. All of the pancakes are delicious; we often try the special pancake but always eliminate whatever the gooey topping is. I was so taken aback by her (angry) attitude that I would have walked out had I not been meeting a friend. She literally threw the menus on the table. I've experienced better, is right. Le Peep in Boulder is so much better then the Longmont location first off. Second off, why can't anybody there make based eggs when I ask for them? I had a pick up order in which I repeated one entree, three times, to TWO different people and I still didn't get what I asked for. The first time I called I wasn't provided with a time to come in, I just got a repeat of my wrong order and then a " Okay see ya later." Its like, "OKAY?.....BYE???" Call back a second time talk to someone who still gets the order wrong almost didn't tell me when to come in and did not provide me with a total. read more

Le Peep has gone downhill in the last couple of years. We went there last week and everything tasted bland. The potatoes were the worst and that's usually the favorite part of the meal for my kid. The biscuits used to be homemade but now they looked and tasted like they were frozen biscuits. read more

My family ate breakfast here yesterday for the first time. Absolutely no complaints. I had the breakfast burrito. My husband had a skillet and my daughter had pancakes and eggs. The seasoning was spot on. I actually had no complaints and that's rare for me! Will definitely go again! read more

I enjoy visiting This LePeep. Plenty of parking, roomy inside, and good service. I enjoy sitting at the bar, sipping on a latte and an order of gooey buns. If I order a full sized breakfast (big enough to share for sure,) I usually get one of their skillets. Ordered the tamales & eggs - tamales were great and the green chile was flavorful but not much heat. Restrooms were spotless. Service was very good and the food came out 19 minutes after we ordered.
