I was craving chocolate and like rich good chocolate and who can't think of Le Petit Gateau. It's a bakery within Indy coffee roasters and they mostly take orders but they also have a good variety of breads, croissants, brownies and muffins so you may get lucky with what you are craving for. Atleast that's my experience. Service was pretty quick and I ordered and left in less than 5 minutes

Go-to for made fresh daily pastries!! You have to try everything! I have been 2x already! I have ordered the Almond croissant, blueberry muffin, blueberry lemon scone, ham and Gruyère croissants, and the famous cinnamon roll croissant. Everything is baked to perfection. Fresh and melts in your mouth. Staff is friendly and helpful with any questions. I typically get my items to go, but they have seating available to get a coffee and pastry to sit and enjoy inside. I definitely recommend. Free parking available, back entrance door away from the street. It is next to a coffee shop.

Cute little pastry shop under the new apartments at North End... filled with sweet treats, pastries even macaroons. Nice open space shared with Indie Roasters, individual seats but what a cute spot for moms and their kiddos! Even a comfy couch area! Snagged a blueberry lemon scone and snagged 2 macaroons from Nicole. She helped explain the flavors and I wish I had purchased more bc they were so light, crisp and airy! Parking located right out front but I'm unsure where I'd park if those were all taken? Close enough to walk from the Monon and take a break but good location with all the apartments above it. Hope to visit again bc macaroons are my weakness!

DELICIOUS. Everything was clean and you can tell that the bakers take their job seriously. They answered our questions patiently and helped us decides. My friend brought her 3 year old and he devoured the chocolate muffin.

I saw a newsletter about the opening of Le Petit Gateau. I love croissants and couldn't wait to try it! They have some great options and I ordered all of the croissants and the danish to try out. The plain croissant is buttery. The chocolate croissant has a good amount of chocolate. The ham and Gruyère croissant was my least favorite. I think the trim of the ham on the outside was slightly hard from it being exposed while baking but you can just take that part out if you don't like it. My favorite was the almond croissant. It wasn't too sweet! The cheese danish had cinnamon in it which I was surprised about. I warmed them up at home and they were all delicious. To top it off, Indy Coffee Roasters share the same space, so I'll be making two trips every time. The space seems like a great place to work at! It's big and has a lot of seating. I can see myself working there for a couple of hours if I need a place outside of the house. It's a great spot!

Yessss! Finally made my way over to this place today and I am so pumped! Been missing an almond croissant with ample filling from my life. I ended up getting a a variety of things for the family to try so we could pick our favorites. Clear winners were the croissant, scone and danish. Muffin was also wonderful, but the others stood out because I have a hard time finding superb quality in those elsewhere. Very minimalist atmosphere but cozy, it works! Street parking right out front. They open at 7am during the week, dangerous for pre-work goodies!

I stopped in for the new indie coffee location and this bakery happened to be right across from them. Everything looked so fresh even though it was 2pm in the afternoon. I picked the chocolate croissant and cinnamon roll croissant and both were absolutely delicious! I love that the bakery is close to me, there's so much seating and it's baby friendly!

This place is located on the first floor of Northend Apartments next to Indie Coffee Roasters. I was able to go on their very first day and I was NOT disappointed (nor did I expect to be). The service was quick and there was parking around the back and in the front. This is also a great space to work from as they have amazing treats and coffee right there is a mixed-use space. Many tables and booths with charging outlets as well! I ordered a Ham and Cheese croissant and it was AMAZING! The chees was delicious and they did not skimp on the ham! I will totally be going back to try more of their offerings! Congrats on the Brick and Mortar!!!

This was a nice bakery! Very pretty and modern inside! The customer service was lovely and attentive. I ordered a macaron and a kouign amann. The macaron was birthday cake flavor and it very tasty! Had that lovely crisp edges but tasty soft insides. The kouign amann was good, I just prefer mine a little bit more crisp but it was still a great pastry. The only other reason for 3 stars was parking and finding the location. The bakery is located inside a building.

If you are looking for some of the best French pastries in central Indiana look no further. Congratulations to Le Petit Gateau on your opening! I've been a fan for a couple of years thanks to Indie Coffee Roasters and now you have your very own brick and mortar! This was the best way to start my work week. Thank you so very much for bringing such high quality pastries to the Indy area!!!

I am so happy that this place opened. The location is great and there is easy access from the front or back, where there is additional parking. The service was great and the pastry chef, along with the other employees, are so kind. It smells absolutely incredible and the hand painted artwork adds to the ambiance. As for the pastries, every single one has been phenomenal. Our favorites are the pain au chocolat and the ham and Gruyère cheese. All of the croissants are flaky, buttery, and flavorful. They priced extremely well too considering the amount of time and energy that goes into them.

The Cake Bake Shop is an exception and rightfully so. We have been to the Indianapolis location three times and this is our first visit to the Carmel shop. The atmosphere and glittering decor is whimsical. The service is exceptional. The food, especially the dessert, is exquisite. We celebrated our anniversary with crab beignets, Gwendolyn's signature chicken and andouille gumbo, and New Orleans shrimp po' boy with pommes frites. Our young daughters dined in with us so we asked for the Crystal hot sauce to be placed on the side. For dessert, we shared a slice of the celebration cake which had three different cake layers: vanilla cake with chocolate chips, chocolate cake, and vanilla almond confetti cake. The flavors are distinctive and came together with two buttercreams, vanilla almond and strawberry. It was delightful and delicate. However, I am still extremely loyal to my favorite, Gwendolyn's Famous Earl's Court Chocolate Cake. For take-out, we had the chocolate chip cookie with fleur de sel, walnut brownie, birthday macaron, and chocolate caramel macaron. I love dessert but cookies and brownies are generally at the bottom of my list. I generally prefer cake, donuts, ice cream, tarts, and various pastries. But once again, I make the exception for the Cake Bake Shop. My favorite is the walnut brownie because it has a nice, crispy crust and a soft center. It is perfection! It is also worth mentioning that the server sprinkled glitter on my girls' hands and hair so that they could make a wish with the celebration cake. If your young children is into anything sparkly and glittery, this definitely ups the notch to a wonderful and magical lunch experience! Safe to say - The next time we have a road trip in the general area, I am going to include The Cake Bake Shop in the itinerary.

Yesterday, I decided that I would not be cooking dinner and instead opted to order pizza and dessert to be picked up on my way home. This is such a cute, quaint little shop located in a tiny strip mall next to a gas station. So very unassuming, yet quite impressive. I loved the two cute yellow tables and chairs out on the sidewalk as well as the Sinatra that was playing when I entered the shop. I was greeted warmly and let me say how much I value a pleasant and genuine interaction like that. Someone came to the front of the store from the kitchen in the back, and she too greeted me with a very welcoming and warm smile. This fact alone makes me want to return and support this place of business. My pizzas were prepared fresh and handed to me hot out of the oven. The deserts, an assortment of 3 different kinds of cookies as well as two slices of cake, were kept separate and cold. My husband loved the pizza (he is somewhat of a connoisseur) and I enjoyed it as well. The carrot cake was a bit dense for my liking and the pistachio ricotta was decadent. My husband really enjoyed these sweet treats as a night cap! I loved the cookies. I ordered the Peanut Butter Brownie Swirl cookie, the Pistachio Chocolate Crunch cookie, and two of the Pistachio Thumbprint cookies. My personal favorite was the Pistachio Chocolate Crunch cookie. It had a great contrast in texture with the soft-baked cookie being perfectly complemented by the crunch of the pistachio pieces, and it wasn't overly sweet. I'll definitely be back to try more cookies, cakes and pastries in the future! They also carry some authentic imported Italian products, such as pomodoro sauce.

She told me about the cookies and drinks they have. The drinks sounded interesting so I thought I'd try one out. I asked the worker for her recommendation and she told me her favorite drink was the Full Blitz. The base was sprite mixed with some fruity flavors. It sounded good, so I purchased that. It didn't take her long to make it, and the color of the drink was pretty. I was happy with the selection because it was delicious, I thanked the worker for her recommendation. They offer different sizes, I went with the smallest which was a 16oz and it cost a little under $4. I noticed the inside isn't too big, and it looked more like you grab and go here. I didn't see any inside seating for dining in, although outside had a table so could be an option for when the weather is nice. The service when I got to the shop was awesome. My order was ready to go. However, this is where things changed. I ordered the lemon poppyseed. Now, if I was just ordering a poppyseed cookie, this would've been nine out of 10 there was crispness to the edges, soft middle, but not too soft and also not too sweet's a really solid cookie. However, since I went into it thinking this was gonna be lemon including lemon icing drizzle on the top I did not smell lemon when I first smelled the cookie and I did not taste any lemon in the cookie itself so I have to say that my review went from 9 to 5 out of 10 because I love lemon flavor and almost never does anyone have enough lemon flavor. in this case there wasn't any. Highly disappointed crave. Onto the next cookie, I ordered the mango sticky rice because the ingredients looked awesome and the concept sounded good There are big chunks of mango in every bite. I believe these are dried mango pieces. I think fresh mango would've tasted better, but probably would've led to a much more wet cookie. This cookie was pretty dense. It was not as soft as the first cookie however, it was also not very sweet which was good. I would probably order this again.
