I would eat my hand if it was covered in cookie butter so the Biscoff was my crepe of choice. It was amazing! Warm cookie butter, strawberries and bananas folded into a delicious crepe. (96th street isn't exactly the beach so you gotta take what you can get on scenery.) Not sure we'll go out of our way to return but it was a good visit. The couple working were very nice and friendly. It's a small place to grab ice cream or crepes. A family came in for a birthday crepe and a happy birthday tune was played, making it festive. I was crazy about my ice cream- it was supposed to be gelato, but it really didn't have the smooth creaminess of gelato. Actually was a bit freezer-burned as if it was old. Immediately after I ordered, a stream of people came in and ordered. We came right on time. It's a relatively new place and there were only two people working, so the wait was a bit longer than one would hope, but I had no problem waiting. I enjoy supporting new places! I got my smoothie and headed for my car. As I'm pulling out, the owner runs out and stops me. He asks how I liked my smoothie. He said it didn't taste as pineapple-y as it was supposed to and he would make me another one. I had to point out from the display what I was talking about and he took the display cone. The cone was stale and had to be days old.
