Really nice cup of joe here. And the little spongie things are good too.

An unexpected good experience here. Initially I went into the Mercantile to use their facilities (I know, very bold as a non customer). But then I decided, having walked past the Petit Parisian, to have a cuppa to pass the time. It's part of the Mercantile, so I was able to get to Petit Parisian without having to step outside again. The place is decorated really well, a bit clichéd a la Paris, but still lovely. The tables had fabulous little flower arrangements. The food displayed invitingly on the counter. I got a cup of coffee and two madeleines. The Americano was excellent. Honestly, I knocked it back so quickly. The madeleines were extremely yummy too. I stayed longer than planned as it started raining and I'd no jacket with me. I watched as people sheepishly came in out of the rain, accessing the place to see if they should stay or not. I wanted to tell them the coffee was great and to pull up a pew... but I kept quiet. They decided to stay, which was cool. I chatted to the staff as I settled up. They were nice. I'll definitely be back for the coffee. You should too.

I passed in front of this place so many times and stopped to drool at the cakes even more often, I was bound to try it out. So I took my friend-I-try-new-places-with to Le Petit Parisien some Saturday and we had a hot beverage and tart. She had a tea and apple crumble, I had a cappuccino and chocolate tart. They didn't have the mille-feuilles which I was very sad about so I freaked out and got the chocolate tart. Very chocolatey indeed maybe too much for me that day but if you need your fix I would recommend it. The coffee was very good and came with a bit of pastry (pain au raisin in my case, tasty) The staff nice and chatty. We are planning to come back and try the savoury food. I keep you posted.

Great service, yummy croissants and fab French toast! We came back here for lunch the BLT was really good very different states and that the bacon is more like what we would think of as ham. It was really really crusty sourdough roll. The mixed fruit tart tasted as good as it looked. Crisp tender crust, smooth pastry crime, ripe fruit. It was perfectly right in all ways!

Great Parisien cafe in Dublin! Everything was very tasty. The staff was very nice. It's a small, intamite place (of course, it's a Parisien cafe!) . Expect to wait a little while for a sit. It's worth it.

    Great croissants

Great espresso and croissants right in the heart of Dublin. French brasserie run by Italians in Ireland- how could it not be good?

The strawberry tart was really amazing. My wife was astonished by its balanced taste.

Quelque chanson française de la dame dans le bain.

If you're from the states, do yourself a favor and try these because the ingredients are far superior to anything you would find back home. I'll definitely be back tomorrow for more. The iced coffee was pretty good too. They have little tables to enjoy your donuts but we took them back to hotel. Service was standard.

My wife and I were just strolling down the main street when we saw The Hot Donut. There are…read moremultiple donut shops in town but this one was close, convenient and looked GREAT. It's a small shop, like very small shop so seating is more than extremely limited. That was OK since I knew we would be walking away eating. It's also fun to watch them making donuts right behind the glass in the store. Since there are not to many people inside at any one time and two people behind the counter they are very attentive. I also had a specialty coffee which they make on the spot. There is a great selection of fresh and delicious speciality doughnuts and a "Donut of the day" but we were too late for that. We left and continued our walk only to stop for a minute and use a pail as our table. These donuts are good.... I mean really good. Our need for sweet was satisfied and later I was disappointed that I did not bring back a few more to take on the ship with me. They had so many flavors and styles. Stop in if you're in the area.
