Super cute place with great potential. Experience was actually a 3, but it has 5 star potential so settled on a 4. It's tucked into a strip mall with plenty of parking. Upon walking in, I was impressed with the ambiance they'd created. Definitely a girl's place - pink, flowers, frilly decorative furnishings - that kind of made me excited for our adventure. Very clean. The main lady (assuming was the owner?) was super sweet and helpful. She had 2 girls working w/her on prep, 1 that didn't understand English when I asked her a question. Like a previous reviewer, I think their prep work is a little behind as they were still making the creme brulee at lunch time and could see how they could easily become backed-up trying to create tea towers for various tables. Saw 1 table of ladies getting the traditional tower of bite sized sandwiches/scones/desserts & it looked pretty. Can also opt to just order off the menu - soups, egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, empanadas(!), scones, croissants. We decided on the lunch combo that included 1/2 sandwich, soup and dessert. The 1/2 sandwich and dessert r kind of small, but that's okay given that it was only $15 for the combo & I really didn't need more. The soup was generous and by far my fav part of the meal. Per the server, they make their soups in house and all are gluten-free! I was so stoked so ordered the creamy vegetable soup, which was pureed (no chunks) of potato, squash, broccoli, etc & really tasty. The broccoli cheese soup was also quite good and I liked that is was a bit lighter / less chunky than many restaurants. The menu states that they only offer 1 soup per day, but they had 3 options today. The egg salad was fine. The tuna salad- meh. It seems to b made with a sweet pickle relish, which I know some really like but I don't, and was a little fishy tasting. Next time I'll stick with the egg salad or more likely just get a big bowl of soup. Another plus - they offer GF bread - thank u!! Although they list desserts on the menu, not all r available so will have to check with the waitress. Since the creme brulee wasn't ready, I opted for macarons. If ur GF, this is typically a safe options, but they r not homemade. These came out of a box in the freezer, which I understand is how places like Sam's sell them. However, it would b much better service to allow them to thaw before serving them. Le Petit Pastry & Tea has a lot of potential & just need some finesse on the service and details along w/better prep. If they can get that handled, this would b a cute place for a little girl's tea party (nail salon a few doors down where they could get manis after) or for the ladies to get together to hang out and have a leisurely lunch. Note that u have to walk up to the register to pay. We waited quite awhile wondering why nobody was coming to take r card, but then remembered how the menu said to pay at the cash register when ur done. This seems a bit confusing, but maybe it's so people don't feel rushed. Hoping the best for this place!!

The table setting

Le Petite Pastries is a charming spot with outstanding staff! The pastries are delicious, the finger sandwiches are exceptional, and the tomato basil soup is a must-try. Go tea party style for the full experience!

Had the most magical time at Le Petit. Myself and a friend of mine visited for the first time and were there for at least two hours enjoying their delicious tea and food. I had a lavender lemonade which was very suave, then a hot peppermint tea, a club sandwich on a croissant and chocolate croissant. Adriana, the owner, was very attentive and sweet. Will be going back soon with more friends this time.

Then I enter to a very dim lit restaurant. It was around 11 o'clock during the day and it didn't appear that all the lights are on, but there were people sitting at a couple of tables. So I walked up to the counter and look at the menu. I'm not sure if I order at the counter if I go sit at the table and get an order so I'm standing there while two people are talking. They clearly see me, but they were involved in a conversation so I patiently waited. Then I was told to go sit at a table and they will come take my order in which they did. I ordered a side of biscuits and gravy. It was very good and it came out really quickly. It was like having breakfast at candlelight without the candles because the place was not lit very well at all. I was able to find something to read and the more I read it the more I was put off. This double-sided laminated sheet sitting on each, and every table of this diner was telling us as customers how we should act and how we should treat them. I posted a photo of both sides of the sheets of instructions on their expectation! My server was great the gratuity express that as it exceeded 25%. They should have no reason to complain about me. Note to the owner: please use your lighting or invest in more. Please make the atmosphere more cheerful and welcoming. It does not stand up to the quality of food and service that your staff provides.

Sue was our outstanding server, She helped us order and we got the Pho with brisket and beef. She was kind enough to portion the Pho between us! We also had the chicken and shrimp fried rice which is a favorite of ours. Sue told us she was born using chopsticks! David and I still struggle with them lol! Everything was delicious and piping hot. The Pho had the herbs, lime and jalapeño on the side. The fried rice had broth. David couldn't resist the chili sauce and then couldn't stop coughing! He does this every time and maybe he should just add a few drops instead of a teaspoon. We enjoyed everything we ate and the flavors were amazing! We love the up beat atmosphere and it just perks you up on a cold and rainy night.
