I am so impressed by this place!! The restaurant we were planning to go to for brunch was closing soon so we spontaneously called this French cafe and they were able to accommodate us despite being busy. We ordered the Steak and Boursin sandwich, the Mushroom D'auvergne Complete savory crepe (with brie cheese instead of blue cheese), the side of ratatouille, and the side of sausage. Everything was outstanding - we were so glad we ended up here and both agreed it would be difficult to order different items on the menu next time because of how much we loved our food! They also had many sweet options, including delicious looking sweet crepes, but we usually lean more savory. The cafe itself is definitely petite, which I honestly prefer for noise level and the feeling of intimacy when dining out. My friend and I waited about 5 minutes before being seated. It was a beautiful warm Sunday in September and we were on the patio in the shade. Just a great setting overall. They were good, but not sure it's something I'd go out of my way to order again, lol. We got some drank; and they brought out the Prosecco in a ice bucket which was nice. I have always loved this place. It's been a while since I've dined in for a Sunday brunch but decided to give it a shot for my anniversary! We were seated relatively quickly without any reservation which was awesome. After being seated, it was about 15 minutes before our server even stopped by the table to take our order. I'll be honest, I understand staff shortages are a reality but counted plenty of staff members wandering past our table to attend to other tables seated in our area. After we received our drinks, we had asked to place our order (at this point we had already waited about 25 minutes) and our server replied in a very rude tone to us to wait, rolled his eyes, and walked away. Then he never came back! Luckily, we pulled another server aside and she took care of us and was very kind! Now, the food was excellent - no complaints at all. We enjoyed the meal. They have a nice happy hour selection of mussels, a cheese plate, and one other dish I cannot remember. We chose the cheese plate, which was very nice, but it only came with one type of a soft spreadable cheese. It included fruit, crackers, and bread. There wasn't enough bread crackers to spread all the cheese, so we let it go to waste. I would have liked different types of cheese or more bread at least. The Strawberry Rhubarb French Toast was disappointing. There weren't many toppings and the bread barely had any batter on it, so it was kind of like eating regular toast. I would recommend avoiding the bathrooms. One of the doors wouldn't even close (the door was too big for the frame) and the other wouldn't lock. They also weren't the cleanest. Everything I'd heard about this restaurant had been positive so I decided to try it out. The restaurant is somewhat small on the inside, but there are patio tables outside (weather permitting of course). Although the dining area inside was smaller than most places, it was not uncomfortable and added to the charm of the restaurant. It reminded me of a Parisian cafe. The service was friendly and prompt, and the waitress was helpful in providing descriptions of the food and suggestions. We started with the escargots, the Niçoise salad, and the onion soup. Escargots were great; meaty and served with a garlic butter and sliced baguette. Niçoise salad was bursting with color and flavor. Although the onion soup was made with a vegan base, it too was amazing. For our main course, we ordered the bœuf bourguignon and the cassoulet; both were incredible and heartwarming for a cold December night. We also split a bottle of Pinot noir which paired perfectly with our dishes. From our table we could see the chefs hard at work in the small open kitchen, which was very fun to watch and also very impressive. Had a delicious and affordable brunch on a rainy Sunday morning! I had a rich hot chocolate (definitely not just Swiss miss lol) and crepe, and my friends tried out a couple of the egg dishes - everything was delicious! I think each of us paid about $15 total for both food and coffee. The brunch cocktails looked good too but we didn't try them this time! One thing to note is that they were running low on some things by the time afternoon came around - i don't remember exactly which items (maybe croissants, for example?), but our waiter warned us ahead of time and also explained the substitutions they were making which sounded just as good as the original options. The service overall was very friendly! It is worth noting that my friend ordered a salad which never arrived, but he didn't feel strongly enough about it to remind our waiter and he also was not charged for it in the end. They could accommodate us with a reservation in only about an hour's notice, and then also seated us pretty quickly despite arriving about 20 min early. We were seated inside, but the outdoor tables in front of the restaurant are covered and heated for the cold weather and it still felt quite comfortable in that area. I have heard great things about the dinner food as well, but i also believe it is much more expensive. I would be down to try it out though after such a nice brunch experience! read more

The mushroom filling has great earthy flavor. A perfect light brunch that's also insanely decadent. The services was outstanding. Start your morning off with some of their classic mimosas and a coffee, and this is the beginning of a perfect weekend day. We were so excited about going to Le Petit Triangle Cafe for french cuisine. We missed the food in Paris. The place was very intimate and felt quaint. They didn't seem too happy with our service dog but after seeing paperwork were okay with him. We ordered our drinks and small plates and the escargot was delicious. After the escargot we ordered dinner and were sadly disappointed in delivery. Two of us got our meal in a timely way but one of us waited about 10 more minutes (they comped the dinner but does that really help?). One dinner was the steak au champignons and it was rare when asked for medium rare and was not even warm. The potatoes that came with the steak were good, but the steak was disappointing. The duck and sausage cassoulet was delicious ... and the Moroccan chicken that came late was very good. Was served water once but had to ask the second time. Had the lemon curd crepe for dessert which was delicious however had to ask for more hot water for tea vs. them watching. The bartender / server, Bill, in particular was kind and concerned but definitely had too many tables. Overall I would say good place to eat but be specific on what you want to happen: all food delivered at same time or take back, want food warm and please watch my drinks. Would go back. This was my first and definitely not my last visit to this quaint spot! This place has been on my short list for some time. I finally had a chance to visit, on a quiet Wednesday morning. My entree arrived a short time later. I chose the buckwheat flour crepe, which was generously filled with tender chicken, white cheddar, and mango chutney. The crepe was light and spongey, the chicken was a little bland for my taste, definitely could have used some pepper, and maybe a bit of tarragon, perhaps, and I was not sold on the combo of chutney, cheddar and chicken, but the crepe was prepared well. We had about a 45-minute wait, and received good communication from the staff. We're cautious about COVID so we waited a bit longer to get an outside spot. The staff was very accommodating. We can't say much positive about the food, unfortunately. The lemon curd crepe was pretty, but turned out to be thick and rubbery. The berries were OK, but it was otherwise kind of flavorless. The croque monsieur was extremely sweet. I've had sweeter challah bread before, but this was like French toast *with* the syrup. At first I thought it probably just had contact with something on the grill, but the entire sandwich was that way. The croissant with my son's ham and cheese omelet sealed the story for us. It was flavorless and more akin to white bread than what you'd typically expect from a croissant. The best thing we had was a side, the breakfast potatoes. Those were good. If you eat here, they're a good side and you should get them. A weird Yelp-related element to our visit. One of the reviews mentioned the good orange juice, so my wife and son inquired about it as it wasn't on the menu. The server mentioned they didn't squeeze it themselves, but it was "the good stuff." So, they both ordered it. Their recommendation after trying the orange juice is to not order the orange juice. I'd make the same recommendation about the coffee. When one item with a meal is off, we may ask or inquire about it. When the entire meal is that way, we just assume that's how it is. That's where we landed here.
