    Pierogi Melt

This place has a very classic diner feel with formica topped tables and decorated walls. Service was very fast without feeling rushed. I loved my pierogies, but the kielbasa was different and chewier than I expected. Menu selection was pretty simple but covered all the diner basics.

A nostalgic place in Cleveland. This place is a piece of Cleveland history. A small casual café. They have quite the selection on the menu with some unique touches to it. It was busy and we were lucky to get a seat immediately. The waitress was instantly at our table. Once we ordered we didn't wait long for our food at all. You can tell fresh, and I've heard local, ingredients were used. The rosemary in the bread was so good. I got the pierogie sandwich. The food was delicious and I cannot wait to go back. There are other things on the menu I would love to try.

This small place was right next to the West Side Market where they had connecting doors. There was also a bar with a good amount of seating. The menu had a variety of choices to choose from. The service was very friendly, and the food came out in a timely manner. I had the Big Lebowski ($16.75?). It was a sandwich with muenster cheese, sauerkraut, onions, kielbasa, and potato cheddar pierogies. It was also on grilled rosemary bread. I never saw pierogies on a sandwich so had to give it a try. This was great mix of flavors and very filling. The rosemary bread was the key as it was grilled perfectly with a perfect amount of rosemary where it was not overpowerful. I really enjoyed the pierogies on here. There was also a side of fries that had a simple seasoning of paprika, garlic salt, and a little bit of cayenne I believe. They were hot and done right. Will I go back? Yup.

I kind of fell in love with the entire West Side Market during a recent trip to Cleveland, and the small cafe off the eastern side is just my style. I dig a good diner, and this place fit the bill. Cozy, humble and friendly with great greasy spoon food. My kiddo and I popped in for a late breakfast while shopping. She got a pumpkin waffle that was on special with candied pecans and caramel, and devoured the entire thing. I was perfectly happy with my corned beef hash and eggs. Nothing bougie. Just damn good. Our server was lovely as well.

Cozy and friendly place to sit and enjoy a meal before, during or after shopping at the West Side Market. Nothing fancy or pretentious. Great drinks and generous portions of your favorite comfort food.

    Market Breakfast with Spicy Bacon

I was surprised to see all the rave reviews for this place. I went in around 9 on a Wednesday. I was excited at the claim on their website that they use fresh ingredients from the market, but having eaten the food, I can't believe that's true. The eggs tasted like powdered eggs, the toast was a bit stale, the potatoes had the "sweet" taste of winter storage potatoes (although they were good despite that). I got the "spicy bacon" which was regular bacon smothered in a weird hot sauce. Wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good. The waitresses earn them all the stars here - they're a fun group.

Visited West Side Market Cafe this morning. My friend and I sat at the counter. Our waitress was very friendly and provided A+++ service. Coffee refills were frequent. I struggled to pick between options on the menu because everything looked good. I settled on the Eggs Benedict. The entree and accompanying potatoes were very good. The potatoes were perfectly cooked and had great seasoning. Overall this was a very pleasant experience. The cafe is worth visiting before or after a stroll through the West Side Market.

This is a bustling cafe in the West Side Market. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. It was already busy at 8 am and people were still coming in. My biscuits and gravy, with eggs, also came with fried potatoes. The gravy was ok, it could have used a little salt. My friend had the Market Breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast and potatoes. The food came out quickly, the portions were generous, and our server was prompt in refilling coffee, bringing the check, etc.

    Birthday brekkie !

Diner inside an open air seafood and meat market, this was a nice little gem inside an otherwise bustling and somewhat smelly fish market! It's tucked in a little corner and has a quaint homey feel inside. The staff are kind and attentive, quickly and easily accommodating our group of 7 with no advance notice. Some of us had mimosas (served in a beer glass, interesting vibe but tasty mimosa) but being that we were about to ride a bunch of roller coasters at Cedar Point after our brekkie here i didn't want to drink! I had the market breakfast with 2 eggs over easy, ham, fruit yogurt and toast with honey butter. It was so delicious. The eggs were perfectly runny and went well with the toast. The fruit yogurt was juicy and refreshing, the perfect pairing for this meal. At $12 the prices are a steal and really filled me up for a fun day of adrenaline! Thanks west side market!

We loved learning that orders are meant to be shared, and everything comes out fresh from the kitchen when they're finished preparing it. We decided to be adventurous and do the Bellie Up - and couldn't have had a better experience. Although we didn't get to choose any of the meals in the courses, there wasn't a single dish we had that we didn't go back for a second bite. Everything was paired perfectly and tasted delicious. There were multiple things we had that we would've never ordered for ourselves, and some of those items we ended up absolutely loving! The staff are ridiculously knowledgeable about the food and drink options, and we got to box up everything we didn't eat to take home. We will absolutely be back to celebrate our special moments. P.S. - If you don't get the fried chicken, you wasted your trip.

The facility is far bigger than I thought it would be. They have a central restaurant with multiple party centers on either side. It's a really BIG facility. New, modern, and quite attractive. With plenty of convenient parking. The wall of the restaurant that faces Cleveland Hopkins Airport is all glass. It affords you quite an impressive view of the airport and the planes landing. The staff we met was pleasant and efficient. Our server, Mina, did an excellent job all night. If there was a weak point, it would be the food. It was not bad (I'm trying to be kind); it was just uninspired, limited, and not really well prepared. Because they do not offer bread for the table our only option was to order the "Soft Pretzel". It arrived badly overcooked, crunchy not soft, and even boardering on burnt. The charcuterie board was OK, but uninspired. I ordered the "Lemon Chicken" which was a full half chicken in a reasonably good sauce. But the meat was dry and it came only with brussel sprouts (yuk!). My wife had the "Walleye" which she simply said was "okay"... oh well. Our guests weren't any more impressed than we were. I will say our coffee and "Pot de Creme" were very good... thank goodness. All in all, our overall experience was "meh"... just "meh". Sorry - really probably should be 3.5

We dropped in for Happy Hour, looking for cocktails and a few bites, and were immediately struck by the well-appointed space. The runway views at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport added an unexpected layer of entertainment--watching planes take off and land while toasting 14 years of marital bliss felt like the perfect backdrop. We started strong with a French 75 and an Old Fashioned--both expertly crafted, but that Old Fashioned? Smooth, balanced, and memorable enough to set the tone for the entire evening. Wednesday happens to be Wing Day ($2 whole wings), and we took full advantage. We sampled Buffalo, Sweet & Tangy BBQ, Lemon Pepper Dry Rub, and the undeniable star of the show: Garlic Parmesan. Each had its own personality, but that Garlic Parmesan was simply elite. Service was impeccable--Emily was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our experience flowed as effortlessly as the cocktails. Speaking of which, round two brought a Cosmo alongside a repeat of that Old Fashioned...because when you find the right note, you stay in that key. For food, we shared the French Dip Baguette--shaved prime rib, provolone, horseradish aioli, and au jus done right--and paired it with the Mega Crunch Fries, elevated with sea salt, rosemary, and a light truffle oil drizzle. Simple menu items, executed with intention. We closed the evening the same way we began--together, with one final round of Old Fashioneds. A Happy Hour well spent. A celebration well honored. A 14-year journey still taking off.

We shared the loco moski, paprikash sandwich, and a side of bacon wrapped tots (good option if you just want 2 and not the full appetizer). While the bacon wrapped tots are famous from Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, I actually liked the loco moski and paprikash sandwich more. The loco moski is a fun combination between a loco moco but with pierogi, and I like that the peppered gravy wasn't too rich. The paprikash sandwich was also a great combo of chicken, sausage, peppers, cheese, paprikash, on lightly crispy bread. Parking available as free street parking--though you may have to circle to find parking since it's near the Christmas House. Staff were nice and efficient. I wanted to try the pierogi and the Polish boy and the KRAUT and having an extensive beer menu doesn't hurt either. Friendly neighborhood watering hole literally on the corner and basically across the street from the a Christmas story house allowing you to eat within eye sight of the leg lamp. I wanted basically everything from the menu that came vegan (spoiler alert there are tons and tons of things) but gastric space comes at a premium on vacation so we settled on the fried cheese. I was very excited to see the Polish boy (and vegan option no less) I didn't have much of a choice. GF ordered the vegan pierogi platter with vegan kielbasa on a bed of kraut. Firstly the fried cheese was head and shoulders above any mozz sticks or anything of the sort that I have had in memory. The breading is seasoned and crispy and heaven on earth. The cheese is PIPING. Like you will burn yourself if you, like me, have no patience. The accompanying tomato sauce is also steaming. So good. The Polish boy was also in a league of its own. Love that they have a vegan version. What a combo. Probably one of Cleveland's most important community contributions. We ordered the latkes to go and they were orgasmic. What a special place.
