The service was super friendly, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]I really enjoyed the atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a nice outdoor seating area filled with plants and inspiring quotes that made the space feel welcoming and relaxing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, the food was pretty mediocre. The kolaches tasted okay, but they weren't served warm enough, and the muffins were quite dry. Overall, it's a pleasant spot to sit and enjoy the ambiance, but the food didn't quite live up to expectations.

I rarely eat bacon, maybe 3x a year. Today I decided to treat myself and I'm so glad I did. This egg bacon and pepper jack cheese biscuit was exactly what I was looking for. I can just feel the love in this crispy biscuit all hot and buttery My lavender honey latte was perfect as always! My favorite place to get a lavender drink, the flavors are just PERFECT every time.

Seen this place on our drive to find dinner the night before. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was intrigued by their outdoor garden patio area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And they have coffee!! They open at 6am almost every day! I read some good reviews and we went about 8:30A. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Wasn't too busy just the right amount of foot traffic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They are very welcoming upon arrival. Not sure where I read someone said they had a little encounter with a cashier. Maybe they misunderstood them? Idk but we didn't pick up any "attitudes " I was super excited to try these so called buttermilk drops that folks were ranting about. Idk I just couldn't put my tastebuds on what was throwing me off about it. I split one with my husband and even he wasn't too impressed. And he's not the picky eater, as I am. I did enjoy the sunrise muffin. They offer to have it warmed up if you decide to eat in. Which I did and was glad we did. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We went to enjoy our coffee and pastries in the garden area. Very calming and peaceful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not to mention I love how the folks that run this place own a church and some of their proceeds help fund sobriety housing. The honey lavender latte is good. You can order it hot or iced. Husband had an Americana hot, and he liked it!

Thanks Pontilly my vanilla bean frappe is always fixed just right!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is always warm, cozy and friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love when I walked through the front door I'm alway greeted.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a great neighborhood coffee shop. It's so vibrant and full of life.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a wonderful variety of goodies here. The iced pomegranate raspberry tea I ordered was very refreshing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The artwork in the lobby area is colorful and unique bringing the place alive even more.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Customer service is also top notch here. I will most definitely be back.

Locally owned by a Church, Pontilly Coffee is a wonderful coffee breakfast spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a busy spot and inside is loud, but there's plenty of seating outside including a beautiful garden spot that is also available to rent for special occasions.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the iced White Mocha and it was delicious. There's so many baked goods that's it was hard to choose so we picked the Buttermilk Drop and Iced Apple Turnover. Both were so moist and light. The Turnover melted in my mouth and had a delicious apple filling. The Buttermilk drop did remind me a bit of McKenzies back in the day. I've seen reviews about a bit of rudeness from the cashier but we didn't have any issues. We will definitely be making this a go to Sunday morning spot and am looking forward to trying other things.

Fast service, cashier was really sweet, food tasted good, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]a bit noisy because the music was slightly high, but one could still have a conversation[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]!!

Omg! The food here was amazing. I really enjoyed the breakfast plate with cheese grits, eggs, sausage and a homemade biscuit. The service was exceptional and everyone was very pleasant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Being here felt very homey but like an aesthetically pleasing coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I loved it and will be back!

Hot sausage, egg and cheese kolache!

A "Nola Gal Pal" sent me here, now my favorite, Coffee shop with food! The employees were so kind plus I found out they have a "mission."Which is some proceeds going back to a sober house! The honey lavender latte was so delicious and you can get it hot or iced! Inside was cozy but outside was spectacular! The best outside space with covered shade areas and also sunny spots. I got the breakfast plate and my other half got a hot sausage kolache, both were fire! I cannot wait to come back to try more..

Caramel Frappe (sad I got the small.)
    Nicole S.

The lady that took out was rude to both my friend and I as well as the couple in front of us. I had never been here before even though it was super close to my aunt's house that we visit often. However, I got the best caramel frappe I have ever tasted. The colache was also delicious. My friend got the buttermilk drops and a sausage egg & cheese biscuit and they were both Devine. She even went back to get buttermilk drops to take home to her mom. We will be going back every time we are in New Orleans even with the rudeness. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a decent looking spot with a stay stream of customers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything we had was delicious.

Busy busy busy but worth the few extra minutes you'll spend in line. The food was amazingly satisfying, and my dirty chai latte was perfectly crafted. They've got a winning recipe here for function and efficiency. The drinks are made separately from the food, so you'll hear your name called twice at different stations. So, listen up! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's plenty of seating inside and out if you'd like to sit for a bit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lots of offerings and options to customize your order. They also have featured drinks to try if you're feeling frisky or unsure of what to order. Overall, great place. Adding to my list of stops whenever I'm in town.

Absolutely love this place! I have been going for about 4 years now. And hands down one of the best coffee places. Amazing flavorful food. And an inviting environment. I got the Crawfish NOLA-CHE and the buttermilk drop donut. Crawfish Nola-Che is very flavorful and cheesy and the buttermilk donut is like a tennis ball size donut hole. Taste sweet a little dense and a nice fried donut taste. Service is wonderful they greet you when you walk in the door and the workers are nice.

This is a strong 4 for me, the lavender iced latte is delicious. They have a wide variety of food and pastries and [[HIGHLIGHT]]you can tell this place has a strong community of regulars who get excited when they see each other.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was packed, the vibe was welcoming and people were coming together with great vibes for a great start to the morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is the spot in New Orleans

We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children (one being only 2 years old), and because of that they changed our table type from a 4-top to a 5-top and made us wait an additional 30 minutes. Meanwhile, multiple tables became available that easily could have accommodated us, but the hostess was determined to keep telling us we had to wait. To make matters worse, there was open bench seating in the back where customers ordering to-go could sit. I offered to order food to-go so we could at least sit down and get started while waiting, and she told me if I did that they would remove our name from the waitlist because "you have to pick one or the other." No willingness to problem solve whatsoever. She repeatedly said she was "sorry," but her actions showed the opposite. I was simply trying to work together to find some reasonable solution instead of continuing to watch everyone else get seated while our family, including small children, kept waiting. Absolutely horrible customer service experience.

Their coffee is also really good and pairs perfectly with the food. The staff does a great job keeping up with the rush. The only downsides come down to space and logistics: Limited Seating: There is very little room inside, so it fills up fast. Outdoor Seating & Smoking: Because inside is tight, you often have to sit outside. Unfortunately, people were smoking in the outdoor seating area, which makes for a pretty unpleasant experience if you're trying to enjoy your food and fresh air. Parking: It can be quite a hassle to find a spot on busy days, so be prepared to circle the block. Overall, the food and drinks are a 5/5 and absolutely worth the trip, just keep the seating and parking limitations in mind if you're planning to stay and eat!

There is also a charming courtyard if you want to soak in some sunshine. I first learned about this bakery when staying at the Hotel Villa Convento across the street. They served their buttery rich croissants as part of their continental breakfast. (I'm not sure if they still do.) Now that I have a house in the Quarter, I take a morning stroll over here to pick up croissants to take home. The butter croissants are a bargain at $3.50. I also love the chocolate & almond (both are $3.95 each), as well as the crisp & flaky Palmiers & delicate Almond Florentines.
