Day 7 of NOLA Coffee Crawl Creative use of space that brings together the community. They have an abbreviated menu and hours for now, but the current offerings are still worth the trip. Park your Blue Bike here and sit at one of the outdoor tables. Bring Fido and he'll get a tasty treat! I tried the iced latte, plain, and I'm glad I did- the coffee had a smooth, complex flavor that didn't need help. Also got a fruit turnover that I think was guava...flaky and delicious! Will come back for a snoball or smoothie sometime soon, and you should too!

Cute place, lousy coffee. I think their espresso machine is dirty because the coffee tastes like Starbucks before they went to their super automatic, super annoying machines. Also, any place buried in Torani syrups either makes hordes of frappechino or is trying to run a shave ice business. Neither of these things relates to a good cup of coffee, sadly. Nice people, cute building. Get your coffee elsewhere.

Everytime I'm in town I come to this place for coffee. I'm in a hotel with a whole kitchen and I won't touch the hotel coffee. The quality , The customer service, The location!!! All so perfect and just a great spot to come have a coffee, relax, read a book, and enjoy the beauty if this street & place ! I found this place after moved to New Orleans and for 7 years ( not sure when they opened) I deprived myself of perfectly made coffee. Side note: I'm not a pastry person or into sweets in general but I've heard nothing but great things about their Sno balls & Pastries

I finally got their snowballs! I got a raw pineapple snowball with condensed milk and it was AMAZING! I usually never finish my snowballs because they can be too sweet, but the raw pineapple juice( or concentrate or whatever they use) was perfect and I finished it so fast. Adding condensed milk is the perfect touch. The snowball is going to be way more expensive then your typical snowball you can get around the city, but the quality is there to justify it.

Amazing Sicilian Granita frozen coffee. The ice is so smooth and a strong but sweet tasting coffee.

Just stopped by this little coffee shop. It's a window walk up and the owners are very nice. Coffee was hot and delicious. They also have croissants and bagels available. Added bonus, they have puppichinos!

Located along historic Esplanade Ave, The Flagpole Nola is not only the CUTEST little snowball stand this side of Esplanade, it is also the BEST with its awesome array of "all natural" snowballs made with raw juices for a healthy snowball alternative. Don't worry, if you're not into that "healthy" option, they have all the traditional flavors like tigers blood, wedding cake, strawberry, and even condensed milk to add. Andres there is super friendly and helpful if you can't decide on a flavor (like me ). I went to Flagpole Nola twice in one day! First I had the oh so tasty Raw Mango juice mmmmmm and then I went back a few hours later for an amazing tigers blood snowball. 10/10 highly recommend you stop by! They have outdoor seating and a lovely location to chill and enjoy a refreshing tasty treat!

From the moment you walk into this space, what you are confronted with is tons of all kinds of great and unique everything. Much of it is not only sold by local artisans, but made by them, as well. French market is predominantly an open air location. What you will find here are small shops that each offer a very unique collection of items that are very specific to their own shop. The items that are sold here span the gambit from jewelry, to artworks, to ethnic pieces that represent the culture from where the shop owner comes from. There is really a lot of everything at the French Market. Meaning, this is a great place to get that really unique gift that you wanna get for that special someone or to find that unique piece of whatever that you will personally use. As there are numerous shops here, each business provides a unique buying experience. Each one represents what they offer, and do it from their own perspective. From this, you'll find some shop merchants that are super friendly, very cordial, and more than willing to make deals with you. Others, not so much. But, that's what makes this location truly interesting. All the personalities that make up this shopping establishment. More than simply a place to shop for gifts, artworks, souvenirs, and the like, French Market also offers some great food stalls. So, if you need a snack, drink, or even a full meal, you can find it here. As this is open air, in the summer, it can get kinda hot inside this establishment. This is not bad or good, this is just something to keep in mind. This is the same during the winter months. You can't get kind of cold in there. But, at least from my perspective, that's a little bit easier to deal with. You just have to wear a jacket. Overall, this is one of the main stays of NOLA. It's truly a must see location. And, for people who know the city well, this is a place to go to when you want to find that truly unique item. Truly, you never know what you'll find.

This past year I've had a thing for purchasing copper jewelry- most bracelets from South Korea, Mexico City, Tijuana and Mt. Charleston. Wondered if anyone ever made copper necklaces. I saw a few vendors that had thick linked chains. I bought the medium $45 length- tax is high in New Orleans. Far cry from dainty but copper is supposed to be good for arthritis and health. Ok let's see.

We ordered: Fried Okra, Cold Big Easy, and Da Yat. For the fried okra, it was a bit salty but a good snack to bite on. Cold Big Easy tasted like a 'ol regular sub of Roast Beef and Ham. It tasted exactly as described, just nothing crazy. Da Yat was good for my first half of the sub, but it started to feel very heavy at the end. Lastly, spice. As someone who loves spice , but has lower than average tolerance, it wasn't super spicy. Yes, there is spice and it can build up each bite (especially with the fried Okra), but it will not make you feel like your tongue is on fire. Spice enthusiasts may want to request the more spice. I give it a 3/5 because it was good and does the job of a Po Boy, but it was not out of the world. I am content coming here as one and done. I still recommend this place to tourists in the area wanting to try a Po Boy. And I'm most definitely sure this place would hit even better after a fun night out in Bourbon St. especially as a late night drunk meal
