Le Ros is a hidden gem. Found it on my search for a similar Roti Massamam I had in another area and it didn't disappoint. Flavors are on point here. Food usually comes out pretty quick and they have lunch specials during the week. Everything I I've had has been really good and I think this has become my go to for Thai food. The reason they lost one star is two part - I don't think their drink prices are as good a value as compared to other options and second, last time we went there were a couple of sub-par chicken pieces in my pad Thai. It hasn't happens any of the other times so I'm not going to fault them terribly for it but will update if it happens again. They're pretty consistent with everything and the service is very friendly here. Definitely recommend this place. read more

My sister has been an avid fan of this place particularly for their Pad Thai. We arrived on a Tuesday night for dinner. We made reservations just in case online but found that wasn't necessary since there were plenty of tables open. I got to try some of my sister's pad thai basil chicken which was in fact, my favorite that I've had from any place. It was perfectly sweet, spicy, and salty. I liked my Indo fried rice but also felt liked it could have benefited from more of a kick. My mom enjoyed her broccoli Mushrooms beef which could have been better if the sauce was thicker but otherwise the taste was good! To end the meal, we split their Mango Sticky Rice which was the perfect amount of sweetness with some very ripe manngo. Overall, we had a great experience! The staff were beyond kind and more than happy to help. I loved the interior design as well as all the colors and textures which felt very intentional. It's great for either casual or slightly more dressy. Prices are also great for the portions provided. Cannot wait to come again! read more

Nice, consistent Thai food in the Marblehead area. The pad thai is consistently great and also the Massaman curry

After a few years of visiting this local restaurant and enjoying Thai food, we were floored by two recent issues. 1: Disruption of Clean up and spraying cleaner on tables ahead of closing time---though we were last customers seated on dining room. If a restaurant states it's open to 9 and customer is served at 8:30, please have courtesy to clean up and spray at closing. (Or at very least do the cleanup away from dining customers) 2: Revised checks with strongly suggested choice of 18/20/25% tips. I have always left up to 20% if the meal was pleasurable. The service was slow as the two staff (who are the only ones we've ever seen) were overwhelmed by the take out orders and a busy dining room. Perhaps the owner is in the kitchen? 3: The server was taken aback as she clearly expected a higher than customary tip and her co-server rudely commented an unintelligible nothing burger grunt. Could very well be due to our lovely quaint town having been taken over since covid by entitled equity elites from CT and Mass Bottom line is staying with standbys like Maddie's. I placed an order for dinner for 8 people and phoned in the order at 7:00 pm. I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived at 7:30 and was informed that it would be ready in 10 more minutes. At 7:45 I inquired about the status of the order and was informed it would be ready in 5 more minutes. At 7:55 I asked again and was told that they would start cooking it soon and that I should wait another 20 minutes. The order that was promised for 7:30 was finally received at 8:15. No explanation, excuse, apologies or offer of a discount. Horrible customer service. Understaffed and poorly run. I have dined here several times and am used to fairly slow service, but this was the worst. May not ever return. read more

The servers were very friendly and attentive without interrupting the table. They were wonderful. The food was terrific and priced well. We had spring rolls, Pad Thai, and tofu and veggies in a peanut sauce. All really great. The spot was casual and family friendly but worked nicely as a date night spot, too. This is the best food I've had in all of Marblehead/Swampscott area. We vist 4 times per year from NYC and are usually disappointed with restaurant foods here, but this was different! We ordered the pad see ewe (unsure of spelling, sorry!), drunken noodles, panang curry chicken, and chicken pineapple fried rice. Each and every dish was flavorful, plentiful, and thoughtfully done. We ordered out so I don't know what the service por ambiance is like, but our food was ready very quickly on a Saturday. We will return again, this will be our new spot! read more

Best pad Thai in town. No one near here serves crispy chicken pad Thai which is my favorite, but Le Ros has crispy chicken option for noodles, rice, and more. Delicious. The ambiance is great, beautiful interior, with even more charming wait staff and managers. They gave us a free chocolate cake for my friends birthday. Great for take out but I would highly encourage anyone to go and sit in to eat. Will be going back on a weekly basis. 5/5 stars. read more

I enjoy Thai food and was happy to see Le Ros open in Marblehead. We opted to dine there rather than do take out based on the photos. Indeed, the dining room is nicely appointed and the tables are well spaced. After we reviewed the menu and made our choices, we waited 45 minutes for our appetizer to arrive. After finishing that, we waited another 20 minutes for our entrees. It wasn't just our table but nearly all the indoor tables were devoid of food. There was a steady stream of takeout orders being picked up so it was clear that was getting the priority from the staff. Our server didn't make any apologies or give any reason for the long wait. We ordered roti for an appetizer and was very disappointed. Unlike most restaurants which serve a generous amount, we were only given a few small triangles. Also, the sauce was rather watery and the potatoes included were undercooked and hard. For entrees, we had pineapple fried rice which was fine and salmon with a Penang curry sauce. The salmon was overcooked and the sauce was a bit lacking. The other disappointment is that they don't serve wine or beer so if you want an alcoholic drink with your dinner, you'll need to bring your own. read more

I do like the pad Thai from them.. really good food. I've gotten takeout from them a few times as they are closeby. Food is always fresh and good. I only had one time where order was sort of messed up as I'm gf but it was taken care of by them - refunded through restaurant and not a problem. I would like to go there as everything looks amazing and I'd like to sample more things! read more

I would argue that Le Ros is the best restaurant in Marblehead. The staff are incredibly kind, the interior is absolutely beautiful, and then there is the food.... five star rating doesn't even begin to explain how perfect the food is. To start we got crab rangoons, literally best goons I've ever had! Along with the Shumai, a dish I had never tried before but thanks to the menu of Le Ros it of course rocked my world, for a meat appetizer it was light and salty with a nice touch of ginger. The Tamarind Duck, was divine and fell right off the bone. And finally the yellow chicken curry(photo attached), a sweet and spicy yellow curry has always been a favorite of mine but Le Ros' was next level delicious, normally I'd finish the entire bowl, but I had to hold myself back so I could enjoy it again the next day as left overs, hard to do but so very worth it. Le Ros is a new and modern asian and thai resturaunt in marblehead, i have had the pleasure of getting takeout there many times and it is our new go to place for if we aren't in the mood for cooking at home or are craving some authentic Thai, my go to order there would be their succulent house fried rice with shrimp, that has delectable spring onion and egg which to me are essentials in a good fried rice, as an appetizer i would get chicken satay for my family to split, and i would also get soup, generally miso or wonton soup, all at a solid price. I haven't gotten the chance to dine in the restaurant yet but there seems to be a renovated and modern interior that is improved since the previous restaurants that occupied the space. Ultimately it is one of the best Asian restaurants in the area. read more

Highly recommend le ros. The chicken grapoa is my favorite dish there its flavorful and had a little spicy kick to it. Although their prices aren't the cheapest, I don't blame them for the quality and location of marblehead. If youre looking for a take out meal that tastes good but isn't too unhealthy I recommend le ros. read more

We both had the day off and wanted some time out in a downtown that wasn't as busy as Salem so we headed to Marblehead. We chose Le Ros in advance because they had a great lunch menu with lots of options and, even better, the chance to try a few things at once. We ate late so it was basically empty. The staff was welcoming and attentive. My husband ordered the unagi box and I had the vegetarian. We enjoyed both a great deal. The restaurant is lovely and off of Atlantic so it was quiet and calm. I ordered takeout for lunch as this was my first time eating here. The crispy spring roll had no flavor and the dipping sauce came out of a bottle. I also had the glass noodles with tofu added. Most of the mushrooms were uncooked, some of the veggies had a strange flavor and the tofu chunks were way too big. This also lacked flavor and the sauce had an offensive taste. There were hardly any veggies either. The food here is just not worth it with so many other Asian restaurants nearby. read more

Tonight was my first time dining at Le Ros Thai Asian cuisine . The service was excellent. Sharone waited on us. She was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. We ordered Pad C U and it was absolutely delicious. We ordered duck noodle soup which was loaded with noodles and a rich spicy broth and tender duck leg. We also ordered pineapple fried rice which was a little sweet and very tasty. Needless to say we ate too much because everything was too good to stop eating . Took home the leftovers as the portions were generous. Would definitely Reccomend to friends and go back again. For a new business I believe they are here to stay as it's a really nice good food restaurant with a great ambiance and friendly staff. read more
