Food was ok. Not great.. service was great! Price was a bit high but that is because of such a big portion that they serve. Pancakes were huge! I love the chill atmosphere though.

Came for some brunch on a weekend and there weren't that many people waiting. We waited about 5 minutes before our name was called. The staff was great in helping me choose between 3 menu choices. I ended up with their French toast, eggs, and bacon. I also ordered a side of tater tots. The order of the French toast is gigantic because they use a Texas toast and contained no cinnamon. The server brought over the cinnamon shaker after it came to the table. I ordered the eggs as scrambled easy and it came out just the way I wanted. Bacon could have been a little crisper but it was still delicious. My husband got their chili with a patty. Im not sure what it was called, but he ate it all. Our friend didnt know he could add chili to his omelet. He loved it as well. We love this place and we will be back!

Great service, parking is easy/accessible. Not pictured in photo, but fresh fruit plate was 10/10.

This restaurant warmed my heart's strings. Walked in with a friend on a brisk Sunday for brunch. While there was a line, when we walked in, we asked one of the staff members how long the wait would be and she said about 15 minutes. Not bad for a Sunday! We waited and got sat in less than 15 minutes. :) It's a cozy restaurant with plenty of charm. There's also covered outdoor seating which is what we preferred (fresh-air + better natural light for foodie photos hehe). There are a plethora of wonderful options. My friend and I ordered the Pancake Combo and the Waffle combo. Waffle Combo - 1 waffle with a choice of two eggs any style (I ordered mine over easy) and I also ordered a side of ham steak in which, I LOVE that they have the THICK ham steak!!! The best! Please continue to keep that option on your menu. :) With the waffle, make sure to order extra crispy! You will thank me later. Pancake combo - 3-4 large pancakes, two eggs any style and hashbrowns! SOOOOO yummy. Love the crisp hashies!!! For drinks - they have the usual coffee, orange juice, soda, water, etc. The service was fabulous! A lady named Alex was our server most of the meal and she was very polite and always checked in on us multiple times! I appreciate that soooo much! Towards the end, Lany assisted us with getting our check and boxes for us since Alex was busy. Love the teamwork! Love the great energy and smiles from the entire staff. The establishment was pretty clean as well except I do have to note, my laminated menu was a tad bit dirty with residue such as dried ketchup. Please ensure you are wiping down your menus well! People pay attention to detail and so it's important to keep those clean! I'm not from the area, I'm from San Diego, I was just passing through coming back from a trip and chose to eat at this restaurant. I would definitely come back again if I were in the area!

First timer here, came on a weekend. Parking is a bit challenge, waiting time is more on 15-20 mins. They have patio though for additional space. Ambiance is close to home with festive decors. Staff were attentive trying to deliver quick service to all its patrons. The food was a traditional breakfast, big portions, shareable... Their monte cristo was a delight. My hubby was happy with their Greek Omelette with tater tots so crunchy... Their drinks were ok, the freshly brewed iced tea was just ok likewise their coffee. They could have make it a little stronger. Prices were just fair enough, with their big servings. Highly recommendable to try , one of the OG's diner in Monrovia. Good for kids and family. We're looking forward to try their Famous Grandma's Coffee Cake which easily sold out.

I went to Le Roy's and ordered the Greek omelet. My sister got the chicken fried steak. The Greek omelet was so good. It was really satisfying. It came with a good portion and everything tasted fresh. The combination in the omelet worked really well together and made it a filling meal. The sides also paired nicely with it. My sister's chicken fried steak looked hearty and came with eggs and potatoes, which made it a big portion. Everyone was very friendly. Overall, it was a nice breakfast and I enjoyed the meal. I would come back again.

Wonderful breakfast. My grandma's food. I love going there because the food is country that I know.

We got 2 hot coffees, 2 different breakfast plates: a California Omelette and Breakfast Quesadilla, and a French Toast to share. I'm a sauce gal, so I was super excited when they brought over 3 different sauces/salsas for our breakfast. I love a good tang to my breakfast, and these sauces were their differentiator. Their California Omelette was served piping hot and came with ham, onion, bell pepper, mushroom on the inside, and melty American cheese on top - my perfect kind of omelette. Ooo and their hash browns are done perfectly. Amazing crust on the outside, soft potato in the middle. I would come back just for their hash browns to be honest. My fiancé also liked his Breakfast Quesadilla and was a big fan of their hash browns, too. We were seated in the back in a booth and they have that great 90s leather feel to them. The whole restaurant is decked out with cool art on the walls and funny signage like, "We do not have Wi-Fi. Talk to each other. Pretend it's 1995" hahaha it made me laugh, and I appreciate that in this day and age, esp my generation where we are glued to phones all the time. The owners and managers must be pretty cool and for that, I will be back just for the chance of meeting these cool people. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu. We felt with happy smiles and full tummies. Till next time!

There seemed to be alot of regulars there and I can see why. Staff are friendly and welcoming and they have a large menu of breakfast and lunch items. I had their chicken fried steak w/eggs, hubby had their chorizo omelet and mom had their fish and chips. They serve this with saucers of various salsas including a chunky salsa and both red and green salsas! Food was delicious and portions large enough for leftovers the next day. Surpisingly, prices were low with entrees less than $15-$16. Thank you J&A for the excellent food and service!

Don't underestimate the size of the cup because it does hit you after 2 cups. I would say it was worth to get brunch here because of this option.
