Le Roy's is a classic local gem that's been around for a long time. It does have a old school type diner vibe in a cottage type setting. Best place to have breakfast, it brunch. The entrees are delicious, classic homestyle. Huge portions at a very affordable prices. The staff are friendly and offers excellent service.

"Can I please get biscuits with gravy on the side?", I asked. "Yes." she said. I had a hankering for some biscuits. This hit no spots.

I am on a quest to try old skool coffee shops in So Cal! I came across this place on IG and had to try it... I ordered the Spanish Omelette; three eggs with your choice of cheese.. I opted for swiss. It was delicious.. Eggs cooked to perfection and cheese melted just right. Wasn't greasy.. Tasted light and fluffy, matched up with some crispy hash browns and sourdough toast.. I was immediately greeted by the hostess/waitress/cashier.. Very efficient considering this place was packed on Monday morning/lunchy time.. I took the counter since I was solo and my food came out quickly and piping hot! As for the location, it was literally walking into 1982.. Pretty nostalgic and was all decorated for Easter.. I recommend this place for the entire experience..

Came for lunch on a Saturday and to sum it up - large portions but mediocre food. I ordered the steak and eggs with country fries, and unfortunately the steak was reallyyyy tough. For the biscuits and gravy, I was disappointed as the biscuits were really dry. The gravy was solid but definitely needed a lot of it to make up for the dry biscuit. My fiancé ordered bacon, hash browns, and fried eggs. The bacon was SO SALTY, but in the end worked with the bland hash browns. Probably wouldn't be back again, which is a shame because the service was really friendly and we loved the homey diner vibes.

Came for some brunch on a weekend and there weren't that many people waiting. We waited about 5 minutes before our name was called. The staff was great in helping me choose between 3 menu choices. I ended up with their French toast, eggs, and bacon. I also ordered a side of tater tots. The order of the French toast is gigantic because they use a Texas toast and contained no cinnamon. The server brought over the cinnamon shaker after it came to the table. I ordered the eggs as scrambled easy and it came out just the way I wanted. Bacon could have been a little crisper but it was still delicious. My husband got their chili with a patty. Im not sure what it was called, but he ate it all. Our friend didnt know he could add chili to his omelet. He loved it as well. We love this place and we will be back!

I tried the dark meat chicken pot pie with gravy, apple pie, mixed berry pie, and a side of salad. The pies were amazing, portioned well, and very flaky. The salad was surprisingly delicious, topped with beans and paired with an addicting ranch dressing. It was all priced reasonably in my opinion. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Moffett's. I'd recommend for others to try their pies as well.

Nothing fancy at all, Just a storefront in the "grocery outlet" shopping center. A clean place with good service. They have a decent size menu, and I decided to go for the Texas omelette. Basically, a chili and cheese omelette. It was very good. The portions are generous. , the eggs were tender, I really liked the chili. It had just a tiny bit of a zip to it, just enough that it got my attention. Their in-house made hashbrowns were great. Crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. For my bread, I chose a biscuit, and it was light and fluffy. 2 extremely minor things that are definitely not worth taking off a star. While the cheese was good, there was a lot of of it for my personal preference . next time, I would ask for light cheese. Also, I wish it had some onions to go on top, to provide a little pop of freshness. These are just very minor things to me. You can immediately tell this is a family-run restaurant where people genuinely care. The food was exceptional. I have honestly never had hash browns this fresh before. Marko explained that they're never frozen and are delivered fresh the same day. The tomatoes were equally fresh, the strawberry jam was homemade, and even the dressings are made in-house. Nothing tasted mass-produced. Every bite reflected the care that went into it. Our food took a little longer to arrive, and I actually appreciated that. Fresh food should take time. I'd much rather wait a few extra minutes for a meal that's made to order than have it appear instantly. The menu has plenty of choices, the prices are very reasonable for the quality, and the hospitality was just as impressive as the food. I literally got the last seat in the joint, and it's not a small place, with indoor and outdoor seating. Due to the popularity, finding parking is a bit of a chore. They have a lot but it is obviously filled to capacity with people waiting in the aisles for someone to leave. Service was very friendly and attentive. They're busy, and thankfully they employ a rather large staff of servers and busboys. And the food? It's killer. I got the pistachio latte, which was amazing and almost comically large. I also got the lavender lemonade, which is just freshly made lemonade with a lavender syrup poured in, sitting sadly on the bottom. Just stick with regular lemonade. I ordered the blueberry French toast, a side of bacon, and some hash browns - which I think they only have on weekdays. The waitress was very helpful and nice and pointed out I should get the combo with two eggs for less money. I did, even though I don't eat eggs, and took a couple cooked over hard home for my son. They looked good. The blueberry French toast was terrific. Excellent flavor, great texture, and the right balance so it wasn't too sweet overall with the syrup. The bacon was great, but it's usually hard to screw up bacon unless the stuff has gone bad. The hash browns were the only disappointment. They look good, but they are a little greasy and not very well seasoned. They're basically too bland. Still, this is one of the best breakfasts I've had in the San Gabriel Valley and around Pasadena. I can see why it's so busy, and I will definitely be back. Recommended. Just go!

The burrito was fully loaded with tofu eggs, which were crumbly and salted, some buttery avocado slices, crispy tater tots that were fried to perfection, and delectable and melty vegan cheese. The Mexican chipotle sausage worked so well in the burrito, adding a nice savory and meaty flavor while also adding some heat to the dish. I felt so great after eating it and it was very filling. The ambiance here was lovely and it was fun, upbeat and cheery. The seating was so comfortable and I felt relaxed and at ease while dining here. I loved the promptness and attention to detail. My go to order is the corned beef hash, eggs over easy, and wheat toast. I do have to admit the prices have vastly increased but Chef's gives you a well crisped large corned beef hash patty folded in half and a large portion of their hash browns. The flavor profile of that combo hits every time! Their coffee is served black with a variety of sugar packets and Delight creamers of your choosing at your table.
