Le Roy's is a classic local gem that's been around for a long time. It does have a old school type diner vibe in a cottage type setting. Best place to have breakfast, it brunch. The entrees are delicious, classic homestyle. Huge portions at a very affordable prices. The staff are friendly and offers excellent service.

Came for some brunch on a weekend and there weren't that many people waiting. We waited about 5 minutes before our name was called. The staff was great in helping me choose between 3 menu choices. I ended up with their French toast, eggs, and bacon. I also ordered a side of tater tots. The order of the French toast is gigantic because they use a Texas toast and contained no cinnamon. The server brought over the cinnamon shaker after it came to the table. I ordered the eggs as scrambled easy and it came out just the way I wanted. Bacon could have been a little crisper but it was still delicious. My husband got their chili with a patty. Im not sure what it was called, but he ate it all. Our friend didnt know he could add chili to his omelet. He loved it as well. We love this place and we will be back!

Great service, parking is easy/accessible. Not pictured in photo, but fresh fruit plate was 10/10.

This restaurant warmed my heart's strings. Walked in with a friend on a brisk Sunday for brunch. While there was a line, when we walked in, we asked one of the staff members how long the wait would be and she said about 15 minutes. Not bad for a Sunday! We waited and got sat in less than 15 minutes. :) It's a cozy restaurant with plenty of charm. There's also covered outdoor seating which is what we preferred (fresh-air + better natural light for foodie photos hehe). There are a plethora of wonderful options. My friend and I ordered the Pancake Combo and the Waffle combo. Waffle Combo - 1 waffle with a choice of two eggs any style (I ordered mine over easy) and I also ordered a side of ham steak in which, I LOVE that they have the THICK ham steak!!! The best! Please continue to keep that option on your menu. :) With the waffle, make sure to order extra crispy! You will thank me later. Pancake combo - 3-4 large pancakes, two eggs any style and hashbrowns! SOOOOO yummy. Love the crisp hashies!!! For drinks - they have the usual coffee, orange juice, soda, water, etc. The service was fabulous! A lady named Alex was our server most of the meal and she was very polite and always checked in on us multiple times! I appreciate that soooo much! Towards the end, Lany assisted us with getting our check and boxes for us since Alex was busy. Love the teamwork! Love the great energy and smiles from the entire staff. The establishment was pretty clean as well except I do have to note, my laminated menu was a tad bit dirty with residue such as dried ketchup. Please ensure you are wiping down your menus well! People pay attention to detail and so it's important to keep those clean! I'm not from the area, I'm from San Diego, I was just passing through coming back from a trip and chose to eat at this restaurant. I would definitely come back again if I were in the area!

First timer here, came on a weekend. Parking is a bit challenge, waiting time is more on 15-20 mins. They have patio though for additional space. Ambiance is close to home with festive decors. Staff were attentive trying to deliver quick service to all its patrons. The food was a traditional breakfast, big portions, shareable... Their monte cristo was a delight. My hubby was happy with their Greek Omelette with tater tots so crunchy... Their drinks were ok, the freshly brewed iced tea was just ok likewise their coffee. They could have make it a little stronger. Prices were just fair enough, with their big servings. Highly recommendable to try , one of the OG's diner in Monrovia. Good for kids and family. We're looking forward to try their Famous Grandma's Coffee Cake which easily sold out.

Food was ok. Not great.. service was great! Price was a bit high but that is because of such a big portion that they serve. Pancakes were huge! I love the chill atmosphere though.

Service is excellent. They have plenty of employees on staff to help with everything you need. We came on a Saturday morning, which is a busy time, but was able to get seated and served quickly. In the way of ambience, they have a lot of license plates, freeway type signs and other signage throughout the facility. It is very neat and clean and the decor is actually very nice.! Even though the place was buzzing with energy and clearly a local favorite, the team handled the weekend crowd seamlessly. The staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and fast, making the entire experience feel smooth from start to finish. Since there were five of us, we ordered a variety of dishes to share family-style, which turned out to be the best decision. The absolute star of the table was the pancakes--they are truly outstanding! They nailed both the texture and the flavor: golden on the outside, insanely fluffy on the inside, and rich without feeling overly heavy. The waffles were equally delicious, holding a fantastic crisp on the edges while remaining light in the center. To top it all off, the drink selection was top-tier. Whether you get their specialty coffees or refreshing iced beverages, or even hot tea. Every drink was crafted with care and tasted wonderful alongside the sweet and savory brunch items. It's rare to find a busy weekend brunch spot where both the food and the service shine this brightly. We will definitely be back!

We decided to order appetizers and share a few items. First, we had the K-Town Wings. The Korean sticky wings were absolutely delicious messy in the best way and full of flavor. We also ordered the garlic fries, cooked well done, which made them extra crispy, almost like light potato chips. They were delicious as well. The last dish we shared was the Chicken Pesto Flatbread, which was topped with fresh arugula. I really liked it. It was light and crispy, and the peppery arugula gave it a great texture and fresh flavor. For my cocktail, I had The Sinclair, a fun take on a Paloma made with mezcal, pineapple, lime, and grapefruit juice with an orange twist on top. It was incredibly refreshing and perfectly balanced. Overall, I highly recommend Basin 141 if you're in the Monrovia area. Even if you're not nearby, it's worth the trip you won't regret it!

It's located inside a busy shopping plaza so parking can be difficult, especially on the weekends. It's open daily 7am-7pm Service was average since this is one of those " pay at the counter for the food and take a seat" kind of place. However, it would have been nice if the cashier told us to grab our soy milk from the fridge or at least handed it to us after we ordered it. We were waiting 15+ minutes for the items only to go up to the counter and realize that we were supposed to get it ourselves but we're never told to do so. It's quite small inside but there is a decent amount of seating Pricing is resonable and nearly everything is under $15! The Curry Pastry ($2.60) was pretty good. It would've been better if it was more crispy but the filling was very delicious and had plenty of curry and beef! The Sweet Soybean Pudding ($4.50 - large) was delicious! Be sure to let them know to put the syrup on the side otherwise they combine it for you! The tofu was very soft, silky, and fresh. I was very relieved that the syrup wasn't too sweet since they combined it inside. The Soymilk ($4.25 - large) was very sweet and didn't have much of a soybean taste. It would have been better if it wasn't so sweet so I could taste more of the soybean. NOTE: they offer salty soymilk and soybean pudding but it's +$0.25 more than the sweet Soymilk and soybean pudding! The Peanut Milk ($4.25) was pretty good. It was very creamy and nutty! If you like peanut butter, then this is a must! It wasn't too sweet and it was very refreshing. Overall, I liked the soybean pudding more than the Soymilk and the prices were reasonable so I most likely will recommend and return!
