I've gone to Leroy's Restaurant at least 7 times this year (2026) and had an enjoyable experience, but that all ended on June 9, 2026. My caregiver, my service dog and I went for an enjoyable breakfast of Porkchop, mashed potatoes and corn. But this day, the cook must have been drunk or under the influence. When my meal arrived, I found that not only was the porkchop not hot, but I couldn't cut it with a knife much less a fork. The server was very understanding when I showed her that the porkchop was rock hard by banging it on the plate. I asked her to replace my meal with another one, but to have the cook make sure that the new one was soft and pliable. After about 15 minutes, she returned with a plate empty of everything except another hard porkchop. My caregiver had already finished her meal and was just waiting for me to be served. I told her that this was unacceptable and to just take it off the bill. The server suggested that I just take it home for the dog as it was not good enough to eat with the words "you might as well take it home, we're just going to throw it away anyway." When we went to the cashier, she must have been having a rough day as she challenged me by saying "What, you won't eat it but you want to take it home!!? And then dramatically opened the take home box and threw it into the trashcan. I am probably 20 years older than the cashier but I still didn't expect to be so disrespected by her. I cannot recommend Leroy's. read more

Liked the vibe...a little kitschy --may have been the overdone Easter bunnies everywhere. Small place and uncomfortably crowded. Went for lunch...would breakfast have been better? My friend and I order sandwiches. I had the tuna melt--kinda regretted it; it was very mushy. Food was just ok--nothing on my plate or on the menu stood out. Great service though. This is the first time I've been to Le Roy's and it was wonderful. I loved the atmosphere and the staff were friendly and on top of everything. The breakfast tasted good. It was as close to a homemade breakfast as I've had. Parking is tight and we had to walk a little bit to eat. I'm good with that as this was one great meal. read more

Finally went here to have breakfast and glad I did! I ordered the pancake combo and the food was delicious! The 3 pancakes were huge and light and fluffy! You also get 2 eggs and 3 sausages or bacon. I chose the sausages. They came a little cold, but warm enough were I didn't complain. The atmosphere of the restaurant was like going back to the 70s! The staff was friendly and I got my food in a timely manner granted the restaurant was busy. I'd recommend giving LeRoy's a try. Cool atmosphere, good food, and great staff! read more

Ever start to feel sick of hipster brunch places and just want something that hits the spot with no frills nor all that Instagram nonsense? This place has the aspect of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". It had always been a popular local breakfast spot, and rightfully so. Out of kicks and giggles, the name of the place got my attention because my friend and I were obsessed with the viral Leroy Jenkins video. And whaddaaayakno, this meal ended up being exactly what the doctor prescribed. Everything I had was delicious and substantial. I didn't see one bad item on the menu. Service was attentive. Summer 2025 A 1-star for me, but giving 2-stars to be fair. Le Roy's is the kind of place that's intolerable for me, post-COVID. It's an extremely tiny diner, like the inside of a trailer, with an outside patio covered by cloth(?). I went on a very hot day, impossible to sit outside. Indoors was crammed with people; there was a small a/c wall unit barely moving the air. I wouldn't have stayed, but my friend wanted to try it out. I won't be back and was sorry to have stayed. I'm giving two stars, however, because clearly they are satisfying lots of other people. Comments: *Large quantities of plain, no-frills, low-seasoning food. *Ok service - not great, not bad. Came here for a family breakfast after church. My aunt warned this place gets packed. They have parking on the side of the building as well. We parked and put our name on the list. We were seated in the back with the outdoor seating. Server came over shortly with menus and water. Simple diner menu. I ordered the breakfast and added bisquits and gravy. My aunt ordered the same with french toast. Portions are very big. I probably could have shared. I do not recommend the bisquits and gravy. Very bland with no flavor. Very quaint spot for breakfast. prices are very reasonable plates are great size portions and options are quite a few. The parking lot was packed so we thought we were gonna have quite a wait but we got in and had to wait. Maybe a couple minutes and had a table the servers were quick and very attentive. Expect to hear loud exchanges between the kitchen and servers. The food comes out pretty fast once you are seated - line starts forming early. The biscuits and gravy got high marks as did the pancakes, Belgian waffle, and tots. The steak and eggs was the least favorite of the picks. Service was friendly and efficient. My wife and I have been dining at LeRoy's for close to 25 years. Today we stopped by as we were in the area. Some things don't change. The restaurant has the same feel of a friendly diner where locals congregate and where waitresses know their repeat customers. The food is good and the staff is busy always. The comfort one finds there is the food but more importantly, the comfort is also found with whom you are dining. We will continue to dine here as we know it's a place with no nonsense wait staff serving basic good food. read more

Always good, always fast and always friendly service. It's an old school diner on Huntington Dr. (Route 66) and doesn't seem to have had any decoration upgrades since it opened 40+ years ago. There is outdoor dining there now, too. VERY popular on the weekends, so get there early or be prepared to wait. Everything we had this visit was good (coffee cake, Belgian waffle, bacon, eggs, etc.) *except* the grits. Granted, I'm Southern and very picky about grits being properly seasoned and cooked. These were neither. Way too soupy and no flavor at all. No worries, though. I took them home and finished cooking them until they were thicker, creamy and seasoned with s&p. my boyfriend and i stopped in here for breakfast and it was so tasty! i was in the mood for pancakes and love diners, so we went to le roy's and had a great time. the menu has lots of options, i chose the chocolate chip pancakes and he got the pancake combo. the server was very sweet and the food came out quickly and the pancakes were piping hot! portion sizes were generous as the pancakes were huge and so delicious. some of the best pancakes i've ever had they were super fluffy and flavorful. the diner was decorated for valentine's day and they really went all out for the decorations which i totally loved. we had a great time here, hope to be back soon! :) read more

I've been going to LeRoys for several years now, I always take any out town friends/family there and it's a hit every time! The staff is friendly without being intrusive, highly efficient, I never have to ask for drink refills, water, napkins, whatever, it's either on the table or brought over before anyone can ask. I've never had anything that wasn't incredibly delicious. I usually or the Club Sandwich but got the Monte Cristo and yum! Portions are big and the prices fair. Early breakfasts with local construction workers and such make it a perfect diner experience. Have the deep fried Twinkie if it's on your bucket list, that, in itself, is worth the visit. They are tater tots masters too so go knowing you're in for carb overload but worth it. read more

Walking in, this restaurant places you back in 1995 and has a real cozy Midwest feel to it. Long counter top seating and plenty of tables, the server greets you warmly and invites you to sit where you like. Lots of regulars, it was really nice to hear the staff and elderly gentleman who are settled up to the counter banter and talk about everything from their families to football. Don't like bad reviews. This place is very dated and tables are too close together. We had two waitresses who attended us, but they were too busy to be attentive. The food. I asked for a chicken sandwich. The chicken was dry and NO flavor. I think they forgot to season the meat or something. The fries were ok. The chicken fried steak was ok. No wow factor.
