    Chicken Kebab

We loved it. The service is amazing. We had the chicken cubes and beef shawarma. They were so nice that even though they made a mistake by giving us fries vs rice what we ordered they let us have both. They went well above and beyond and we are looking forward to going again. Saw people playing card games. It's a great spot for you to go with a group and try all their dishes. We had a late dinner and had food left over.

I came here to have an early Christmas get together with my company. We were lucky enough to know the chef so we purposed to have everything family style. Portions are very generous! They're huge and so very flavorful. The staff was friendly and gave us really good service. I heard this place was authentic Lebanese / Arabic food and I totally see why. The flavors and delicious. The chef use the right amount of spices to elevate all his dishes. I forgot to take pictures of the appetizers but oh my gosh. Everything was so good. We had cold appetizers and hot ones. I loved the falafel the most. Our entrees were huge platters to share with everyone. The lamb was tender, over perfectly cooked rice. The toasted almonds gave the whole dish a crunchy texture. The gravy was liquid gold being spooned over my rice. The fried fish was tender with a side of steamed veggies. The lamb and chicken kebabs were so moist and flavorful: I loved the lamb the most! We had so many other dishes that I forgot to snap a picture!! Sadly they use to have hookah here too. But now they don't ! But overall, it was a great time trying this kind of cuisine.

I can promise you this place is delicious. I have never had a problem with ordering or dining. Staff is always attentive. I have never seen anyone smoke hookah in there. Maybe previous reviewers caught them on a random day. Being Syrian this food Taste's just like my mom's. Extremely authentic and fresh. Everything is delicious. I especially like the chicken kabob platter. The batata appetizer is delicious. Babaganoush, kibbeh, lamb dish with rice all good. I've never had a complaint about this place. Also dessert is always a hit for us.

a tray of food in the back of a car

Ordered food for 16-20 adults, paid 510 dollars. They sent enough food for about 10 adults. Everyone there was shocked at how little food they sent over. Manager "helped me" put the order together and gave me the final price. A complete rip off. When I called to ask if trays were missing, owner became aggressive and unhelpful. Definitely will go back to using Ayat or Rozanas for all my parties.

Le Sajj came highly regarded from a neighborhood regular. We were assured they had traditional Lebanese dishes that would remind them of their childhood upbringing so how can one refuse such a suggestion. Glad to report back that our experience was a good one. We opted in for quite a few of their cold appetizers with their selection plentiful and in line with good Lebanese restaurants. The amount of food was respectable but a bit underwhelming when considering the price point. Fortunately the taste and freshness was excellent!! The Lebne and the Lebanese salad are definitely dishes to consider. With soo many choices we can't wait to go back. As for our main course we opted to split the mixed meat dish. This included a Kafta kabob, Chicken kabob and a Lamb Kabob -- all three were good but the chicken was the star !! All in all -- great place for a traditional Lebanese experience -- the staff were extremely friendly and attentive !!

This is probably my most favorite Lebanese restaurant on this planet. I love the ambiance the food selection is impeccable to say the least, absolutely excellent! From the friendly owner Marwan, to the food and the decor and the musiciens, everything transport you to Lebanon. The delicious deserts, drinks and hookah are also worth trying. Once the dinner is over, the party goes on and everybody is dancing. It always a great experience! I love this place!

The good: Very beautiful restaurant, nice ambiance, clean utensils and dinnerware The bad: We ordered the mixed appetizer plate. I never knew so much vinegar could be used in one plate. He had the shawrma plate with fries while I had some kind of kebab dish. Food was absolutely atrocious and disgusting. My partner is the least picky person on earth, and super easy to please, and even he couldn't the meal. I could not get past a few bites. Flavor and texture were horrible. The one time I didn't look at a yelp profile before eating somewhere, it ends up being one of the worst places I've ever eaten at in my life, and I've been to hundreds of restaurants, all over the world.

When you…read morewalk in, you are immediately greeted by a giant oven baking fresh pita as well as an open kitchen. There is also an outdoor dining area, as well as a mid-sized dining room and we were seated near the window. Sawa serves Lebanese cuisine with some more modern dishes. Additionally, they have a mostly Lebanese wine list, which gave us an opportunity to try some new wines. We ordered both a red and a white for the table, and I was especially drawn to the red, as the red was served chilled, light-bodied, and very enjoyable. Nearly all of the reds and whites on the menu are from Lebanon, with just one red from Morocco, plus a couple sparkling options from Lebanon as well. We started with several dips for the table: hummus, baba ghannouj, and muhammara. The hummus was incredibly smooth, and the muhammara was especially flavorful with large pieces of walnut throughout. Everyone at the table receives fresh pita, and we ended up ordering a few more to share. We also shared the Brussels sprouts and the snap peas. The Brussels sprouts were rich and flavorful, but the snap peas really stood out. They were unlike anything I have tasted before, intensely mint, served with garlic mint labneh, and very delicious. For mains, we focused on lamb: two orders of the lamb ribs, two orders of the kafta, and two orders of the sfeeha. We probably over-ordered by about one entrée, but otherwise it was the right amount of food for six people. The lamb ribs were phenomenal, fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. The lamb pies were also very good and came with a delicious dipping sauce. The kafta was good, though not quite as memorable as the other lamb dishes, but still very satisfying. Service was attentive throughout the meal, and despite the number of dishes on the table, the staff handled everything smoothly. The table got a little crowded at times, but it was manageable. I would absolutely recommend Sawa, especially for anyone who enjoys trying something a little different. They do classic Lebanese dishes very well, while also offering some creative dishes that feel unique and memorable. I am already looking forward to going back.

Nabila's does a great job at balancing upscale dining with casual grub, so overall a perfect spot when wanting to hit the town without a white table cloth. You can see most of the dishes on the menu in their Cruset-esque pots sitting at the front of the restaurant, which during my first visit felt more like a dig inn experience but I digress. There is waited table service so not actually an elevated middle eastern dig inn if you don't want it to be. The menu itself feels perfectly edited and purposeful where everything is meant to be shared. We started off with the mouhamara dip which was pleasantly chunky with the signature flavors of pine nuts, molasses, and honey permeating throughout. The pita was served steaming hot and was the perfect fluffy vehicle for our appetizing dip. Our zero proof drinks (sumac / zaatar lemonades) were absolutely delicious and refreshing. I'm inspired to make these at home. The fattoush salad was also delightfully pleasant with its vinegar dressing and fresh vegetables and crispy toasted pita chips tossed in. It quickly became a favorite and one of the larger dishes we ordered. The fatayer were surprisingly soft and delicate though SO delicious, I could've ordered another round for the table. The sheesh barak were definitely a table favorite as well. I was expecting slightly bigger dumplings, though they tasted incredible and the minty yogurt sauce was the perfect creamy dip to pair with pretty much everything we already had at the table (I combined it with the rice and YUM). I could see myself coming back here and trying more of the menu. We left perfectly full and not over stuffed, which maybe means we didn't order enough by Lebanese culture standards, so just a reason to return!

On a Friday evening, my friend and I came in as walk-ins and got a spot at the bar. The space is a bit tight, but it works if you don't make a reservation ahead of time. I was pretty hungry, and everything we ordered was more than enough food. To start, we had the Whipped Ricotta ($14), Muhammara ($14), and Chicken Shawarma Hummus ($18). Absolutely loved every dip, which were all different in its own ways that I can't even choose a favorite. The ricotta was a sweet one that gave a nice contrast from the savory spices of the other two. I liked how much chicken they added for the hummus too, so you're getting almost a whole meal. You'll definitely need extra pita for all this, which does fill you up. We did also get a Radicchio Salad ($19) for some greens plus a Beef Kofta Skewer ($20) for some meat. Both of these dishes were solid, but could pass on them next time. Definitely recommend any of the mezze and hummus here; it's all you need. This is a really great date spot or group dinner.
