Le Stick Nouveaui an Amazing little secret in the town of Eureka Springs AR. My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised when my nephew gifted us with a Prix Fixe dinner with wine pairings. The evening began about 6:00 pm and ended nearly three hours later. Everything is house made by the chef Every course was perfect. The Wild Salmon was delicious. The pork chop equally perfect. Six courses of delicious morsels. We will definitely make a point of stopping by foranother wonderful meal. A family restaurant that will rival. Here's the Diehl.... Another year, another unforgettable Thanksgiving at Le Stick Nouveau in charming Eureka Springs, Arkansas! Course 1: Waldorf salad with Granny Smith apples - because, you know, we need something healthy before indulging in total deliciousness. Course 2: Butternut squash soup with crème fraiche and melon seed dust - because regular butternut squash soup is just too basic for us. ‍. And the melon dust was quiet the topic of conversation . Apparently it killed a coffee grinder but the table next to us was obsessed with it.... OMG say melon dust one more time Course 3: Palate cleanser with raspberry and cardamom sorbet - because every meal needs a dramatic plot twist. I could dive into a bowl if it daily Course 4: Thanksgiving dinner made with elf magic and angel tears . A heavenly turkey that was unlike any poultry I've ever tried and a pretzel bread stuff... yes pretzel bread stuff. It's as good as it sounds - I mean, who knew elves and angels were such great chefs? Course 5: Dessert - butter cake with pumpkin spice ice cream. We only eat dessert because it's illegal not to. Now, as the night winds down, someone please guide me to bed while I drift off with visions of Le Stick's oneiric courses dance in my dreams. Very late to post this review but would be remiss not to. This is an A++++ dining experience at any price, and although a splurge, actually reasonable for the quality. We went for an anniversary celebration, and it happened to be the "chocolate" experience. Every course had an element of chocolate from a world-renown chocolatier. They had also taken great pains to pick the perfect wines for each course through a local distributor and each was amazing and perfectly complimented the food. I've posted picture of much of the menu, as my descriptions would probably not do it justice. Suffice it to say this is a destination experience - not just a dinner. Le Stick was a fantastic experience. Competent team of serving staff and owners, they partnered well and we never had a need the entire time we were there. The food is a little pricey but the alcohol is priced what you would expect any where. Despite the price it was all so good. They had fun and unique dishes that you don't see at many other restaurants in the area. All of the staff was exceptionally nice, and it was fun listening to and sharing stories. I recommend Le Stick if you have a nice event you'd like to celebrate! Set aside around 3 hours so you have plenty of time to enjoy every dish. read more

My sister and I took our adult niece for her birthday. We went for the LunchLady Menu. We had a wonderful experience. This is my third time going and their first. From the minute we stepped through the door the atmosphere transports t you to a magical place. Our server Kodi was absolutely amazing and the food was delicious!! The service is extraordinary. And the wine pairings are spot on. It's a terrific experience and worth the drive or taxi trip to the establishment. Some minor suggestions... the red wines could be served cellar temp as opposed to room temp, though again, from a flavor standpoint, they held up to the food. Though disclosed when making a reservation, they charge a huge credit card fee of 3.5%. Either making money on the float or need to get a new, more reasonable credit card processor. A great restuarant and unusual find for this town. They bring some creative and nicely presented dishes - the Beef Wellington and Carpaccio as a couple of examples. For me they carry the three important ingredients - Good food, good atmosphere and good service. This is a "must try restaurant" and a nice hidden gem for ES. This is a super fun experience and the food is very good. When we went, the restaurant is not open for regular dining. There are seatings for dinner (limited nights open) and the menu is fixed. The chef oversees the entire dining experience to make sure you're enjoying the meal. She does a great job of making you feel like you're part of a family, having a very fancy family meal. Dessert was easily the winner course of the meal, exceptionally prepared. I got the wine flight and honestly wish I had skipped it - I was expecting it to be pairings with the meal, but the full flight came at the beginning of the meal so you paced yourself as you went. This felt a little out of sync with the attentiveness of everything else in the evening. I'd love to come back when they are "back to normal" to see what the experience is like and to sample a greater variety of menu choices. read more

Excellent evening. We went for my birthday, for a special celebration. We both had the deconstructed beef wellington. It was outstanding, as were the veggies with it. I had the grilled romaine salad which was amazing. Servers Caidy and Bryan were perfect. For dessert we both had pot'ed creme and coffee. Our third time here. We went on a Friday for our anniversary for the 5 course tasting menu. Service was impeccable. They remembered it was our anniversary and remembered other guests special occasions as well. Our glasses were always full of cocktails or water. The servers were also very knowledgeable on the wine. The place itself is beautiful and romantic. Reminds me of a speakeasy. I think the pricing was reasonable 65$ a person. Now the food was amazing. First course was escargot we loved it and it was not too much, 2nd was fried crawfish and calamari with remoulade very good, 3rd was pear sorbet and MY GOD I LOVED IT texture and taste to die for, 4th was the duck a la orange and it was delightful and cooked to perfection, lastly we had a chocolate mousse infused with orange liqueur it was good as well but a little boozy tasting.if you mind that sort of thing. The highlight of our trip and probably one of our top 5 all time places to eat. Things we didn't think we would care for wound up being delicious and the things we knew we would like were phenomenal. Fortunately, we were seated in the super comfortable half-round swivel chairs that just made the experience over the top. We could not have asked for anything more. The only downside (and it has nothing to do with them) is that driving on the narrow mountain roads at night is a bit intimidating and it was raining on top of that, so I was limited to only one cocktail so we could make it back to the hotel in one piece. if we are ever within a couple hours of this place again we will make the trip. read more

From the moment you descend the entrance off the street you anticipate that this will be special! You're met by Maitre di Tony with a smile and a warm welcome. (He's also Chef Donnas father). The environment felt like old school New Orleans with an inviting sense of an unrushed and laid back ambience. We were there for the Valentine's Spice tasting. The 7 course meal with wine pairing was phenomenal ! Our favorite courses were a ginger seared scallop with chilled zucchini noodles and probably the best Beef Wellington this reviewer has ever eaten. Service and presentation was impeccable. You will definitely leave satiated with a pleased palate. Make this a definite on your next visit to Eureka Springs! The only reason this restaurant did not get 5 stars is the bar. Only one kind of bitters? Did not know Peychauds is classic bitter in a Sazerac? Over use of absinthe? Finally obtained an acceptable cocktail but had to provide the recipe to a front manager. One of the more expensive restaurants in Eureka, but you certainly get what you are paying for. The service was excellent and the food amazing. Very romantic setting. The chairs were very comfortable but would have worked better in a lounge and were a little difficult to eat dinner in. You have to get the grilled romaine salad- it's amazing. I was also glad they had the scallops available- also highly recommended! It's a great place to celebrate a fancy occasion, but be prepared to drop a big chunk of money. This restaurant came highly recommended by my sister and her husband who are both extreme foodies and love fine dining. My husband and I are very much the same, so we were excited to give Le Stick Nouveau a try during a recent weekend getaway. Located at the bottom of the New Orleans hotel in downtown, this restaurant already scores points for atmosphere. Dimly lit and quite romantic. Beautiful décor and lovely tall plush booths. Service was excellent and very friendly. We thought the food was above average, which is good. Hubby and I decided to split three courses, which worked out pretty well. We did pay an upcharge on the entrée so we each could get our own side portions. I did appreciate they had that option. Here's what we ate: GNOCCHI - served with asparagus tips and asparagus puree. This was good. The asparagus puree had a lot of nice flavor. I'm almost certain the gnocchi is handmade. However, the menu mentioned truffle oil, but I didn't taste any at all. Cuz I know my truffle oil (i.e., sent from heaven) and I didn't detect any - or at least, not enough. SHRIMP & GRITS - I spent the majority of a previous vacation in Savannah and Charleston sampling my first ever (and most glorious) shrimp & grits, so naturally I had to see how well Arkansas could match up. This had Andouille sausage in it and gave it good flavor. The grits were very creamy and tasted good as well. However, they were missing the tasso ham gravy that I came to love so much in the South. So while these were not a bad rendition of shrimp & grits, it did not have the ahhhhhhh feeling like I expected. Still yummy though. LE STICK WELLY - Since we were splitting this entrée, I'm assuming that's why we didn't get the pretty loop of puff pastry pictured on the website, on the postcard and in many of the photos here on Yelp. Instead we got a square of filet with a diamond shaped pastry stuck to the side. I get it, but it was still a bit of a bummer. The filet was cooked perfectly however, and the puff was nice and flaky. The mushroom duxelle inside the puff was barely detectable though, sadly. Served with a side of collard greens that I didn't particularly care for, but that was probably a personal preference not anything against the food itself. We found this place several years ago and absolutely have to eat there every time we are in town. Some folks may say its pricey but if you like fine dining don't pass this little gem up. We had a five course meal and with each course the presentation was just incredible. The staff all work as a team and are all outstanding. One word: EXCELLENT!!! If you happen to wander over to eureka springs take the time to have at least one meal here. We went in December which I believe is the slow time in ES, we still make a reservation and I am glad we did. We had the pick of tables and chose the room where it looks like music is typically played. They still had their Christmas decorations up and it was gorgeous in there. You start by walking down dimly lit stairs which open up to the hostess stand, tables and a beautiful bar to the right, they know how to set the ambience. Our waitress was attentive, thoughtful, charming and courteous. She had all the tables that night and she still was able to remember I was allergic to gluten. She kept our drinks refilled and took the time to chat with us about local things. Onto the food, we started with their famous carpaccio, I now want my own smoker gun! It was so good, Jason had the Cajun shrimp and grits and I had the pork tenderloin. Both were melt in your mouth and naturally gluten free entrees. Presentation was top notch and the food was perfect temperature when it arrived. For dessert we had an off the menu item, a homemade ice cream sundae thing. I would not order that again, I would go for the poached pears when/if we go back to ES. Prices are very reasonable for the food and service. read more

I was able to dine at Le Stick with a friend. As they only serve a pre fixe menu we were able to sample the Chef's true talents. I was not only presently surprised I was truly impressed by the food and the wine pairings were innovative. The staff are all very welcoming and professional. This is a great place to have drinks and appetizers. I had the $38 lobster Mac and cheese and was absolutely disappointed. I had a whole lot of macaroni and 4 little small pieces of lobster. They said 6oz of a whole lobster tail. Paying that much for dinner was such a let down. Not saying the place is bad just don't order this dish unless you love macaroni and cheese. My honest review.
