Was walking around the East Fremont area in Downtown looking for refreshment on a hot day. I saw the reasonable Happy Hour menu and walked through the patio right up to the window. The bartender took my order of one beer and one Thai-rish Coffee. It was ready right away and my drink was great! We sat outside on the patio. I would definitely come back and try the food. Super yummy food! There is a wait and I'd suggest calling in a reservation early in advance! The service was fantastic and everything the server recommended was delicious. The food came out quick and hot! I ordered the pork fried rice with an over easy egg On top and that was my favorite! The fried chicken skin was a special that was not on the menu. It was ok. It seemed like the sauce was too salty but the chicken by itself needed more Flavor. This place came highly recommended and I'm glad I stopped by. For years we loved Le Thai, but as they grow and get more expensive there food becomes smaller and less consistent. We used to love going in to enjoy the Thai street atmosphere, now you are just pushed to eat and get out, the servers always seem like they are trying to catch up and even when we order for pickup the food is never consistent anymore. Here's an example. The short rib fried rice was one of our favorite dishes, the flavor, the mouth feel, always perfectly cooked and fresh, now it is dry and every time, we add an egg it is so hard you can't mix in any creamy yolk (meaning it sat a long time or sat under heat) we ask for pickled jalapeños but they always forget and by the time they come back around we are already done... if we order it for delivery we are lucky to even get an egg or jalapeños. Glad they are making money, sad it's way more expensive and doesn't compare to the quality of food and experience we were so used to. read more

We were a party of 12 and the reservation was made 2 weeks ago. We had to wait 20mins for our reservation. The ordering and serving took awhile as well. By the time we started eating it was already 10pm. The food tastes ok. The flavours are similar to Thai, but the dishes are just missing that special Thai seasoning. Very unpleasant experience here. Went with a group of teachers for lunch. We ordered food to go. As I went back to work to eat the food. My food was partly burnt and the taste was as very off I called after work to ask for a refund, they refused. One of my co-workers food was almost burnt. The noms are excellent, my favorite being the yellow curry chicken with rice. I think $13 is more than fair for the quality and amount you receive. I've tried the short rib rice too which was great but their curry is just my favorite, I'm looking forward to trying the 3 curry mix next time. One of my favorite Thai restaurants. There is usually a wait so keep that in mind. Sometimes you can add your name to the wait through Yelp. We ordered the Short Rib Fried Rice, 3 Color Curry and Pad Thai Noodles with tofu. My favorite was the Short Rib Rice, it was amazingly good!!! That could be it's own meal because of its portion size. Pad Thai was okay and the Curry was very flavorful, it also comes with side of rice. You can chose the spicy level 1-5, 3 bring spicy. We ordered a level 3 for the Curry and it was pretty spicy. Not too overwhelming but spicy. I would've rather gotten the 2 level. We also ordered their Mango Margarita and Tamarind Margarita. We traveled around the world for good Thai food and ended up at Le Thai in Las Vegas right off of the Fremont Street experience. Needless to say, this Thai spot fell short of edible. The drunken noodles were sub par and only enhanced my friends funny tummy from the drink he had had earlier. My real beef was with the Pad Thai. It was terrible. I had to ask for multiple different sauces and spices to even try to eat it. If I wanted to cook i would have stayed home and Gordon Ramsesed it up. I asked about the noodles as they were not noodles that are normally used for this dish and was told that these were the ones they used. The noodles were almost crunchy and a little dry. Little was done by staff to rectify the situation and we ended up down the street eating A slice of pizz from Evel Pie. Try Thai somewhere else!!! I lived in Thailand for 1 year and know authentic. Le Thai is one of the popular Thai spots downtown with lots of reviews. I know how busy it can get so my husband decided to just do take out and order online. We ordered the Thai Pork belly bacon, short rib fried rice, and mango sticky rice. I'm not sure why you can't order the Thai Tea online, so we had to order it in person. I was excited to try their crab fried rice, but it's currently out of stock. The pork belly is a must, super juicy, crispy, and flavorful. The short rib fried rice seemed to be the popular dish based on reviews. We ordered 2 of them and got a spice level of 2 (medium) and 3 (hot), but we couldn't tell the difference. I like a little spicy kick and if you do too I would recommend choosing (4) fire or (5) Thai spicy. The short rib rice did not disappoint, plenty of short rib meat mixed in and a generous amount of rice, so price on point. I will be back to try more traditional Thai items on the menu. read more

I love love love Thai food. I found this place by a recommendation from a friend and also saw this place featured on a You Tube Channel I watch for reasonable priced lunches in Vegas. I wish they had one of these in Phoenix I would eat here all of the time. We stopped for lunch here this week and the food was great. My wife had the Chicken Satay with a side of Rice my friend had the Pad Thai. All dishes were perfectly cooked and we were sad we live 5 hours from this place because we want to go back! What a find!! Not a tourist trap. Very authentic and the servers are well versed on the menu. I've never been so full. We did our meal family style for a party of six. We had Waterfall Beef with garlic soy sauce and secret sauce called waterfall! Tender and tasty. We also had some beef and chicken satay. Can't go to a Thai restaurant and not have satay. We come every time we are in Vegas without fail. The crispy rolls are amazing. Perfectly crispy on outside. Great beer selection. I love the thai tea and coffee. The service is really upbeat, fun and friendly. Even though we don't live here we see Ashley almost every time and her service is top notch. Today we ate the bar Pedro was our server and he made amazing recommendations and was an all around fun, social and great guy to be around at the bar. I don't even know where to start with this restaurant but let me tell you about this so called "Le Thai" restaurant is nowhere near authentic Thai food. This is the WORST Thai food I've ever had in my life. I'm from San Francisco Bay Area and a huge foodie person especially when it comes to Asian cuisine. I have been to several Thai restaurants in Las Vegas and they are all just as good as in Bangkok and in San Francisco Bay Area. Some restaurants in LV may have their special Thai food (I will not mention any restaurant names since I am not getting paid to advertise them) But this one is pretty much like garbage. I'm sorry to say that but I know what is Thai food. Below is the list of my order and I will break it down each item and express my opinions: Fried spring rolls, oh em gee the very first bite I was like what the hell is this?! It's filled with cabbage and nothing else. You are better off to eat just the wrapper and dip it in the sweet and sour sauce and leave the cabbage on the side of your plate. Shrimp Pad Thai: Whoever is the chef I can assure you that this chef has no knowledge of what pad Thai is. Pad Thai sauce was overly powering and it isn't even close to taste like Pad Thai. It was gross and I couldn't put one more scoop in my mouth. It was salty, too much tamarin sauce, they put mixed vegetables and they even used the wrong noodles!! This is a disgrace to the people of Thailand!!! Not your typical Pad Thai ladies and gentlemen! Thai Chicken wings: burnt chicken wings. The sauce that came with it is not even worth of trying it. It's sriracha sauce and mayonnaise. The flavor is ok but not your typical Thai chicken wings or angle wings. Short rib fried rice: I know what Thai Fried rice is and this one is probably one of the worst fried rice I've had. You better off getting Chinese fried rice or cook your own damn fried rice and I'm sure it will taste better than this place. Peanuts and water: These are the only thing I would highly recommend to everyone! Order as many peanut and water as much you want!! They're good! I'm not sure why many of these people who have eaten here are giving this place a good reviews but this is not what Thai food is about. This is embarrassing to the people of Thailand. By just looking at most of the reviews many of them are probably not tasting the quality Thai food or have no knowledge what Thai food is. As soon as I tried all of my orders I was done! I was there for literally there for 33 minutes (that's including waiting for my order) the waiter asked me if I wanted a few to go box and I didn't hesitated to say hell NO! Noticing that the waiter was a bit surprise that I barely touched my orders he insisted that I get a few to go boxes and I expressed myself once again that I do not want to go boxes. I paid and regretted that I went to this place. To those who are not familiar with Thai food this is a risk that you have to take if you are going to eat here.
