We came to Le Thai on a Friday night at about 6:30. We were told it would be about a 30 minute wait, so we got on the text-based waitlist and pregamed at a bar nearby. Had I not gotten TOO tipsy at the bar nearby, I would have taken better photos. Sorry about that :) Our server, I didn't catch their name, was so charismatic. Good at upselling in a way that felt genuine, not salesy. Yes, I will spend an extra dollar on sticky rice, thank you very much! We decided to order a noodle, a rice, and a curry. I got the 3 color curry, asked for it medium leaning toward spicy. It was not spicy at all. That was my only complaint. My friends got garlic fried rice with chicken and pad Thai with chicken. Both were excellently well done, especially the garlic fried rice. I wish I had pictures of the interior, it was really nice. Their drink selection looked great, though we didn't try it. I've been to Le Thai a dozen or more times, and it's one of those places that just keeps you coming back. Consistently delicious, well-executed Thai food combined with a relaxed neighborhood-bar vibe makes it pretty irresistible. Wonderful aromas, even better flavors. I also love that Le Thai has separate lunch and dinner menus, plus a happy hour with some genuinely good values. I moved here from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where back in the day we had a stellar Thai restaurant called Bangkok Orchid. Off-menu, they served a dish the chef called "Waterfall Beef": marinated grilled steak with sticky rice and an intensely spicy dipping sauce made with fish sauce, Thai chilies, lime juice, and a touch of tamarind or brown sugar. Lo and behold, Le Thai has an appetizer called Waterfall Beef. It's very similar. The sauce here is a little less fiery, but that's easily remedied with some extra heat from Le Thai's spice tray. For me, it's a little taste of nostalgia and one of my favorite things on the menu. A few other favorites: Larb - Ground chicken or pork with cilantro, red and green onion, lime juice, and Thai chili, served with green leaves for wrapping. $14 Papaya Salad (Som Tum) - Fresh shredded green papaya tossed with Thai chili, garlic, carrot, tomato, and lime, topped with toasted peanuts and served with sticky rice. $13 Three Color Curry - Le Thai's blend of red, yellow, and green curry with vegetables. $16/18 And if you're in a hurry, grab a seat at the bar. You can order from the full menu--and have yourself a delicious cucumber gin cocktail while you're at it. Great food, great value, and about as far from the pretense of the Strip as you can get. I will give them credit for catering towards the Vegas crowds, but if you're looking for authentic Thai food this is not it x_x My bf and I stopped by before our flight home from EDC. Staff are incredibly nice and accommodating. The space is kinda sticky and hot, like their A/C is only working at 20% capacity. PANANG CURRY: Just salt... Not flavorful. It's just straight up salty. I had a few bites and gave up, it just didn't taste good at all. My bf said about the same for his Three Color Curry, and he's better with salty food than I am! The steamed white wasn't ready so we went with brown rice. The portion size was generous and they also refilled our drinks several times. The unsweetened ice tea is really delicious. They can't make the curry zero spice level because it's already made but it was fine for me with a little kick. The basil chicken was very tasty (spice level zero). Service: they kindly offered to put our drinks in to go cups, but we had already had a few refills so we didn't take them up on that. Ambiance: bar area and tables inside with some outdoor seating. This was my first time here, and it definitely won't be my last. I came with a few friends, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. We ordered the Thai Style Wings, Chicken Satay, Short Rib Fried Rice, Pad See Ew, and Pad Kee Mao. Every dish came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor, with generous portions across the board. Since it was our first visit, our server, Lucciana, did an amazing job walking us through the menu and offering great recommendations. A friend introduced me to Le Thai back in December 2024 and it has stuck with me ever since! I frequent the Charleston and Rancho location more when I visit Vegas these days, but these locations are somewhat district from each other so try both! We shared the short rib fried rice (bonus tip: order with an egg and a side of gravy - I'm told the other location doesn't have it!) and either the Pad Kee Mow or the Pad See Ewe with pork. Both were really delicious! The term unctuous comes to mind - you'll want to keep eating despite getting full. I also think the prices are reasonable. This location is a bit busier than the other, unsurprisingly with being located on Fremont. Because of that, parking will be trickier. I can't recall if they take reservations but it's worth calling ahead. Our severe was friendly and attentive and the interior of the restaurant is nice and clean. Wow! Le Thai has some of the best Thai food I've ever had. The hype for this place is seriously well deserved. Great location too, as you can easily walk right to the casinos / shops that are on Fremont street. We got the Crab Rangoons, Awesome Noodles, and the Short Rib Fried Rice all at a spice level 3. The fried rice here tasted so rich and delicious. Probably some of the best I've had, as it stood out as a very unique dish that normally isn't served at other Thai restaurants I've been to. I also enjoyed that the crab rangoons are a smaller size, which makes it easier for sharing, as well as more crispy. Definitely add this to your Vegas list! read more

Le DELICIOUS! It is all about the Short Rib Fried Rice. That dish is money. It even comes with gravy drippings on the side which make it extra, over the top flavor bomb. Honorable mention for the cucumber salad, ube creme brulee and the Tom kha soup. Service was attentive and nice at the bar. Very personable and gave great recommendations on food. I'm updating this review because my husband ended up with severe food poisoning from here. While we were eating he started to feel sick and then as the day and night progressed it became even worse. He ate everything pictured below except the pad Thai which is what I ate. Servers were super helpful and quick with everything we needed. The place is relatively small so I could see it becoming very very in here. The staff is very knowledgeable about gluten free and the menu is very well marked. I was very disappointed because I wanted to substitute the noodles the had in a different dish for gluten free noodles so I could eat it but they wouldn't allow it which was insanely disappointing and frustrating to me. Everything we had though tasted good and I like that you can customize the spice level. The short rib fried rice is their thing they are the most popular for and I can see why, it was good. The biggest negative on the food was the steamed sticky rice. It was dry and hard and really difficult to eat. read more

If you're looking for authentic Thai food, I don't recommend this place. I rate my pa prik curry dish a 2 and rate the Thai tea a 3. We were greeted by a Hispanic waitress and asked if we wanted to sit at the bar, but chose to sit at a table. Another group of 4 was seated immediately after us, and she was very friendly with them and immediately served them water first and took their orders. A different Asian waitress took our order and asked what we wanted to drink, which was odd IMO. The place is a restaurant bar and the music is really loud, you can't hear yourself think or talk to your group. The chicken in the pa prik curry dish was oddly soft like melt in your mouth texture, I thought it was tofu. I didn't taste any flavor in the dish, there was literally only the red curry paste taste. My brother in law ordered the beef ox tail noodle soup and it tasted weird like they just threw the broth in from a separate pot with the meat and noodles. The broth was also bitter and sour because they put a big piece of lime in the bowl. There was absolutely no other flavor. We rated this 0 stars unfortunately because even your typical top ramen at home is way better. My sister's pad Thai was very spicy as she ordered, so she thinks it's why it tasted okay. She rated it 2 stars. My husband ordered the tom yum soup and that tasted fine, just like how it usually does, but we don't normally eat that so 3 stars for tom yum soup. Beautiful Thai spot tucked away next to Fremont street! Came in on a Wednesday and waited a while for a single seat at the bar. They were pretty packed so service was a bit laggy. I ordered the appetizer portion of the waterfall beef since it came with the sticky rice and asked for a side of lettuce wraps like the laab has. This confused the kitchen quite a bit, but eventually through some back and forth with the servers we got it right. It was a good portion size and tasted pretty good. FOOD MOOD: I recently visited Le Thai on Charleston & Rancho, and I just have to say--I'm so impressed with their expansion and renovation. The space is absolutely beautiful now, with updated decor that makes the whole dining experience feel even more special. They were busy as always (which says a lot!), but the energy was great and everything flowed smoothly. The expanded space really makes a difference, and I'm so happy to see them growing. They also now have a bar you can sit at, which is such a fun addition and perfect for a more casual vibe. As for the food--never disappointing. Everything we ordered was amazing, from the chicken wings to the soup, and especially the short rib fried rice and short rib pad see ew. Everything we order is so good there. We had friends visiting and wanted them to check out Fremont District, so made a dinner reservation at Le Thai. They have a 1.5 hour time limit for tables, and the timer starts when the first guest sits down. The inside is small but quaint. Menu has a good variety, but smaller selection than some ethnic joints which honestly I liked. They have happy hour specials from 4-6pm Mon-Thurs (couple bucks off appetizers and drinks, nothing crazy). For an appetizer, we tried half honey garlic and half thai style wings (comes with 4 of each). They were perfect for our group of 4, as everyone got to try one of each. For an entree, I went with typical chicken pad thai which is my go-to. I was impressed with the amount of chicken in the dish -- what felt like multiple pieces per bite and way more than standard dishes. The sauce we tasty but not over saturating the noodles. Went to Downtown Vegas for Fremont street and decided to check out Le Thai. Everything here is super authentic and flavorful. We ordered drunken noodles with beef, papaya salad, short rib fried rice and Thai style wings. For drinks we got the green thai tea and an old fashion. You can pick your spice level from 1-5. We ordered the drunken noodles level 3 spicy, papaya salad level 4 and short rib fried rice level 2. The noodles and fried rice had a nice kick but wasn't too spicy. Once we ate the papaya salad we realized it was no joke. It was super spicy but delicious at the same time. They give you the chopped thai chilies on the side so don't go too crazy adding it in. The drunken noodles had lots of flavor from the spice, basil and garlic. They give you a lot of ground beef as well which is a plus. The short rib fried rice was not oily and the fat from the short rib goes well with the rice as it makes the dish not too heavy. The wings were fried to perfection. The outside was crispy and the inside was moist. The sauce it was with was tangy, creamy and sweet. Service was good and the ambiance was super chill and laid back. Great food! We had a reservation at 6:30pm on a Saturday night and it was packed! It's not a large place, but it was a lot more tables than I expected. There is a 1.5 hour limit for the table, so keep that in mind. Service was great! Our waitress was quick, on it, and very nice. Even the people bringing our drinks were lovely. We ordered the coco mojito and then the mango margarita. the coco mojito was great and very light. The mango margarita was nice and sweet, and a little thick. Of the 2, the mango margarita was my favorite! For food, my sister and I shared the pad kee mow with beef and added Chinese broccoli and the crab fries rice. They were both great! The noodles in the pad kee mow was terrific, and the sauce was a perfect balance of sweetness. The crab fried rice was great! It had thick chunks of real crab and it wasn't dried out rice, it was perfect. For the both of us to split, it was still quite a bit of food. Our 2 friends got something similar to share and got through theirs. So I think if you wanted 1 plate, it would be a generous size, maybe with a little leftover. Stopped by for some dinner at le Thai located on freemont st! Hands down the food was amazing some of the best Thai food I had . I ordered the pad prick king chicken stir fry that came with rice ! Absolutely amazing I'm glad I tried something different . I would say this did have a little kick to it .. but if you love spice you wouldn't think so . But the great thing about le thai is that you can adjust the spice level to your preference. Which was great ! We got the tom yum with shrimp, waterfall beef larb, and wings (half Thai, half garlic), mango sticky rice, and green Thai tea. The food was good, but overly seasoned, and was hard to eat because it was so salt and sour. The flavor is there, but definitely too much. The one thing that was perfectly good were the wings. They were so crispy. I would definitely like to come back here because I do like the flavor, I would just request for lighter seasoning. The green Thai tea was super floral and good.
