Very nice facility for outside dinning. Lovely breeze, beautiful lights at night and great people watching spot. The restaurant is large and very attractive. On this evening we had low key entertainment. The team was very friendly, honest and hustled to help each other. The manager let us know that they had some challenges which would slow them down. We were good with that and the overall service. My wife really liked the Mahi Mahi tacos. Fresh tasting. No fishy taste. My shrimp fajitas were very good. Great happy hour spot in Dania Pointe. Unfortunately majority of seating (if not all seating) is outside & during this time of the year it's super hot & sticky. While my food came out fresh & hot the options are not many on the HH menu. Best course of action is grab a quick bite before a movie here but not the main spot to eat. However, they do have a decent dessert menu. And snatch a seat at the bar which is the furthest away from the beaming sun or coming during the evening... wonder if they have a late night/reverse HH? Quickly browsed the store and noticed lots of quality made nautical themed shirts for a freakish price of $118.00. This was the type of touristy clothing store found along Duval Street in Key West, FL. The full liquor Marlin Bar has a patron capacity of about eight bar stools inside and another six on the patio bar side. The restaurant at night is dimly lit and offers plenty of seating. We met the server, Erik, who was energetic and provided us a few options from the tapas style menu. The beef sliders and the steak tacos were very flavorful and priced well. The taco tortilla shells were between a hard and soft texture providing a decent crunchy bite. During our meal, the two managers checked on us to make sure our stay was enjoyable - the customer service at this location was superb. The bathroom was very clean and continued the beachy theme with shell photos affixed to the wall. It began raining and we got wet in the restaurant! I hadn't been here in a long time and this was just awful. It started raining & they closed the side walls but it still sprinkled sideways. We moved inside more, but rain was dripping from the ceiling! Everyone was getting wet. How does management not know to fix this BIG issue?? I came here with some friends one night while I was back home in South Florida. I liked that they had live music, which is severely lacking in the area. You order at the counter and then they give you a number to take to a table with you. They had these cool lamps on the table that my friends were obsessed with haha. I had a Moscow Mule and some shrimp tacos as well as a key lime pie. Everything was top notch. Seriously, I have no complaints. Drink was strong. Tacos were delicious and just the right amount of food since I didn't really feel hungry enough for a full meal. Our server said they do not have Buffalo sauce. Wait! We just had some on the Buffalo cauliflower! Anyway, she was nice. I saw a red flag when potatoes were mentioned in the description. The taste of these tacos were unlike anything I ever had. Maybe it is authentic Mexican? This is not a Mexican restaurant though. We stopped by today for lunch and the atmosphere was great. We tried the street corn dip, it was cheesy sweet from the corn and just great scooped up with tortilla chips. We also tried the steak flatbread and it was delightful. The steak was cooked perfectly, the portobellos were flavorful and the honey onions stole the show. Finally we shared the mahi tacos. My coworker and I came here for dinner on a Saturday night around 6-7P. When you arrive, you go up to the counter and place your order. You can also put a card on file at that point or just close out. They give you a number and then you go and pick a table to sit at. They did have live music while we were there. The guy was pretty good with his set list and the constant music had a good flow to it. I ended up getting the coconut shrimp and a side of French fries which ran $14/4 and $8 respectively. The Coconut Shrimp were a good size and were very good. The side of fries was a skimpy portion for $8. Of all the options along Las Olas these is definitely one of the best spots. Their happy hour is exceptional and happens twice a day 3-6pm and 8-close. We enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we decided to return the next day for happy hour. The frozen Mai Thai's and Pina Coladas were the best I've ever had - and I'm not a frozen drink type of gal. They were two delicious tacos that were done just right. I liked that the portion of fish was balanced with the toppings and they were hot. The pina colada cake was light and heavenly with a dollop of whipped cream on the side. The bar area is beautiful and the weather was perfect. It's an outdoor bar but has a ceiling where we sat. I can't believe I'm saying this, but this Tommy Bahama store/restaurant has one of the best pina coladas I've ever had! Between the dark rum and fresh fruit, I was in paradise. The blood orange marg was also a 10/10. Walking around this pedestrian area, there were a ton of restaurants and bars, but we wanted to sit outside and this restaurant had a patio by the fountain so we tried it out. You order at the bar and pick a table yourself, then your food is brought over to you, but you can also order more from your table once seated. We started with the corn dip and loved it, and for an entre I got the ahi poke bowl. The poke bowl was HUGE! If it had more tuna it could have easily been two meals. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Service was also super friendly, talking to some of the staff we learned that it is a scratch kitchen with everything made fresh in-house each day!
