---- Edit: I have now been seeing Gail on a regular basis since posting this review and if I could give her 10 more stars, I would. Everything that I said in my original review has remained true. AND, my skin has improved so much that I no longer suffer from acne (sans the occasional pimple). My skin tone has evened out, the redness has reduced and my skin is plump and hydrated. I feel free to go without makeup on a daily basis because my skin looks so good. Gail also has become someone and I trust very much. I let her test out things on my skin and I let her do what she thinks should be done for it (that is not something I usually do). I just wanted to pop on here and say that nearly four years later, my skin keeps getting better and better thanks to her! ----- Gail is wonderful! As an aesthetician myself, I am VERY picky about who touches my ridiculously sensitive and fickle skin. I suffer from quite a few different skin conditions and what Gail does with my skin is helping them all! I am very honest with her and tell her when something does or doesn't work and she knows how to work with me. She isn't into selling her own products as much as she is to finding a product that works for you. She will also help you customize your experience to get just what you need out of the service. You can call or text her to ask her questions and she always appreciates it when I send her a text letting her know how my skin is between sessions. She also waxes my brows and I have never gotten so many compliments. That's just her skill level as an aesthetician. As far as her as a person, she is so kind, gentle, nonjudgmental and empowering. She will let me babble on the whole time, always being engaged and laughs at my attempts to be funny; or she'll allow me to be quiet if I need it and just enjoy my time. Her room is stunning and you really feel like your transported to another place. Everything she does is sanitary and clean, which is so important and it's just a great experience overall. My girlfriend Monica went to Gail a few months ago and came home very happy with the work that was performed. Monica is not inclined to rave over the mediocre or even the merely good, so I was impressed by her reaction to her visit to Le Visage. I'd always wanted to get my back waxed, but was consistently thwarted by one excuse or another: 1) It will be far too painful to be worth it. 2) It will be prohibitively expensive. 3) I have better things to do, like pulling my own teeth out. But, when Monica said "If you're going to have it done, Gail's the one", I was convinced. Well, I finally got around to making my appointment and before I knew it, I was sitting in Gail's comfortable outer office, awaiting our start time. Right on schedule, she came out to greet me and I immediately had a feeling of complete ease come over me. Gail was so warm, gracious and friendly, I knew I was in the right hands. Gail's "work" space...I put the word work in quotes, as this clearly is a labor of love for her...is a clean, cozy, comforting environment wherein you will feel peaceful and serene. At a perfect pace, she got right into the task and, much to my shock, it wasn't anywhere near the harrowing experience I had anticipated. Dare I say, it was actually enjoyable. We talked and joked through the whole process and the next thing I knew, my back was smoother than it's been since birth. I was expecting a high grand total when all was said and done, but I was impressed to find that not only does she do a spectacular job, her prices are also quite reasonable. In summary, I could easily see the reason for Monica's recommendation and I stand in agreement, offering my recommendation, as well. I will absolutely be visiting Gail again for this purpose and I would strongly suggest anyone and everyone to do the same. There is simply no reason to go to anyone else! read more

I have been a going to see Gail for about 5 years now. A friend I work with suggested I go see her when asking about a good place for a facial. He, yes he, goes to Gail for back facials. I have been to a lot of so called day spas and have been disappointed over the noise level, microwaves, drawers shutting, etc., but Gail's spa is the total package. From the moment you walk into her spa you get a calm quiet feeling that last all the way to to the moment you walk out. Once you are in the inner sanctuary you dive deeper into the calm. Between the soft music, water falling and Gail's soft voice you are totally relaxed from head to toes and mind and body. Then there are the treatments...what a wonderful array of ways to pamper yourself or friends. I am a facial and peel girl and there is no one i trust more with my face that Gail. Aging is not fun but Gail has made it much more graceful for me. She's not afraid to ask about my skin, if there are any problems, how I'm feeling about it and what she can do to help. I have sent friends to her and have purchased gift certificates for friends for special occasions. Le Visage is the one and only place i'm taking my face. I truly enjoy going to Gail for a few different services that she offers. From Facials to waxing, eye lash & eye brow tinting to that amazing full body massage! Whenever I get a waxing, eye lash or eye brow tinting, she follows up with a nice soothing head and neck massage. She has such a gently, warm touch and just about puts me to sleep every time. The atmosphere is every so warm, cozy and love the soft music she has in the background. Gail truly has what I think of as a "Gift"! She has that warm & gentle touch, even when it comes to waxing. Yeah, I know; waxing can be painful, but not when Gail does it! There is something about her method that is truly painfree! I like how Gail takes time to provide me with the complete services and does not rush through. Gail is awesome!!! The minute you walk into her studio you feel a sense of relaxation. I have been going to Gail for 6 years now and recently she helped me get ready for my wedding with her skin care treatment of facials and peels. I always get compliments on my skin! Not only does Gail use natural products, she also educates her clients on the products that she uses, what it does and how to take care of our skin after we leave. She also does lash extensions and when my bridesmaid came from out of state, she needed to have her lashes filled. I called Gail and she was nice enough to come in on her day off, early in the AM to fill my bridesmaid's lashes on the day of my wedding! I have been going to Gail for about 3 years now. I am not a big beauty product or service consumer, but I love the experience of Gail's treatments, so I have become a regular with her. I have done facials and a series of salicylic skin peels with her. The whole experience of being in her care is so relaxing and healing. Her presence is really lovely...calming and nurturing. Her hands are wonderful, she is a skilled masseuse and you can feel that firm but sensitive touch in the facials and other treatments she gives. She sells a line of facial care that I love, its made in small batches and you can feel and smell that it is full of real botanicals and none of the fake stuff you are trying to stay away from. I just had the most amazing facial from Gail at Le Visage. The relaxation began the moment I walked through the door. It is luxurious, clean and very relaxing! I was greeted by the sound of a trickling fountain and calming music. Just what I needed. Gail is amazing! She was warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. She pampers you and makes you feel comfortable at all times during your treatment. I felt like I was was in wonderful hands and cannot recommend her enough. The products were all organic and smelled marvelous. The shoulder and neck massage was heavenly, her hands are amazing. Le Visage is by far the BEST skin care studio in Sonoma County! I've visited many different places for waxing, tinting, and facials and nothing can compare to Gail. She goes above and beyond in everything she does and the experience is always perfection. Even a simple eyebrow wax feels like a luxurious spa treatment. Her keratin lash lift is only $90, the cheapest in Sonoma County and always lasts me over a month! My lashes have never been stronger and I get so many compliments! Other salons feel rushed or basic, like the goal is just to get the job done. With Gail, each treatment is delivered with love and lots of extras to make you feel pampered. Gail and I have known each other for many years and she was the one who introduced me to the benefits of professional skincare. Visiting Le Visage is a relaxing experience and Gail is a warm, welcoming part of that. I have known Gail for almost ten years now, and I wouldnt trust my eyelash dying to anyone else. I always leave there feeling beautiful, with dark lovely eyelashes which completely free me from wearing makeup! Her studio is relaxing, and cozy. I have been going to Gail for over ten years now. I would not still be going to Gail unless she was that good. Who would have thought that getting your eyebrows waxed could be so relaxing. I start anticipating my visit to Gail at least a week in advance. I love her that much! I have R/A with psoriasis as a "bonus"...Gail not only accomodates me in every aspect, but she manages to make my skin feel "normal"...and that's saying a LOT. I am a big fan of Gail, just got my eyebrows waxed and my 16 year old daughter got her arms, face and legs waxed. Gail made her feel comfortable and relaxed about the whole procedure.
