Beautiful venue on the ocean! We sat outside and had a lovely ocean breeze. Food was excellent: oysters sweet and fresh, buratta yummy with a tomato jam and arugula, lump crab meat-simple but oh so tasty! The pork chop entree was huge!! Cooked perfectly in a spicy tomato, potato and onion sauce. The grouper was served over lobster risotto. The risotto was outstanding but the grouper was very salty and fishy. Couldn't really eat it. The portions were huge and wound up bringing half of our meals home. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant as was the hostess and other staff. Would definitely go back! My husband and I got married in OIB on Monday 10/13. While planning the wedding we found it very difficult to find a restaurant willing to accommodate our group of 22 after a sunset wedding. This fabulous restaurant usually closes at 9:00. They stayed open to accommodate us and were fabulous. The staff was warm, attentive and spoiled us rotten. The food was impeccable. I honestly can't say enough about this restaurant and its staff. Everyone should come and have this experience! Let me start by saying "Wow!" - totally unexpected and extremely nice with great food. The waitstaff and management have created a dining experience this area has needed for a long time. We started with calamari (tender, spicy and sweet); bread and a little shaved Prosciutto. My main dish was a filet and salad; her main dish was grouper and salad. Honestly, the gentlemen Daniel and Michael were very attentive but so were others surrounding our table. It seems to me they all work as a team and enjoy their restaurant. IMO This Restaurant is a great place for meetings and sitting by the ocean listening to the surf. You should check out the two bars they have also. We needed a place like this and will be back a lot! read more

We arrived 2 hours late due to incredible July 4 weekend beach traffic.,we live 6 miles from la Volte. That said, we ate at the outdoor bar since we could not be accommodated. Bartenders were terrific! Sea bass excellent. Gnocchi with pesto was tooo dense. Chef either worked dough too much or used wrong potatoes. Meatballs were also yummy, but we only received two ( suppose to have three). Steak perfectly cooked. Front desk was overwhelmed and no one was friendly or made eye contact. Loved atmosphere but you need to work on pasta dishes and being friendlier to your clients. We will return. read more

Our food was so-so. The venue and atmosphere are gorgeous, and a lovely location. The service was - slow - polite, but slow. The food was so-so. I ordered herb-roasted chicken, it was blackened (burned?) which I did not expect, and dry. My house salad was mostly just dull greens. My daughter's scallops were overcooked. We had the pleasure of dining at Le Volte. The experience was fabulous from beginning to end. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, both inside & out. We dined outside & had a spectacular view of the ocean. It was truly difficult to make a decision on what to order, everything on the menu looked so delicious. My sister & I are Gluten Free & dairy free and there were many options from which we could choose. Our server Hayley, who in my opinion, was one of the best servers we ever had. She was phenomenal! When I was trying to decide what to get, she informed me the kitchen can make some dishes not listed as GF, gluten free. I did get the pork chop, which was such a large serving, I will get 3 meals out of it. My husband said the NY Strip was the best he's ever had. My sister ate every morsel of her scallop dish. Our friend gave me a taste of his ribeye, it was the most flavorful & tender steak I ever had. Plus so many niceties you don't see in other restaurants like a whole new set of silverware & cloth napkin after you have your salad, the manager coming around to check on us, when you asked for something it was brought to you immediately. This is a must try. It has everything, atmosphere, the ocean, fantastic food & of course the sweetest, most attentive server, Hayley. We will be back...& I am getting the ribeye! read more
