    Butternut squash ravioli

We stopped in tonight hoping to sneak in for dinner and ended up getting lucky to get a table. Service was wonderful, Ashley was spot on for us. Very nice wine list. The chopped salad was wonderland just right for sharing. Bread and cheese was a fantastic start to the meal. Dinner was butternut ravioli and pappardelle were both fantastic. The salmon was nicely flavored, slightly under for me (but not enough to have me send it back). The side of cabbage, potatoes and roasted tomato was wonderful. Small family run, handmade pasta and beautifully crafted food - overall a great dinner and I'll be heading back again soon!

My new favorite for Italian. We loved the people, the service and best of all the food. Everything was really good. If I had to nitpick, I wish there were more mushrooms on the Marsala but the flavor was amazing. The chicken was so juicy. Frank was a great waiter!

Food and service was good. Ambiance leaves much to be desired. Pretty noisy when busy. It was also very expensive.

Our server was... well, I'm not sure how to put it, let's just say he didn't seem to be present at work that day, but we roll with punches around here, and we ordered our food. I absolutely loved the teriyaki wings. They were cooked perfectly. The sauce was great, and my only critique would be the blue cheese, which was not the same quality as the wings themselves. The bread service was terrible. I am not exactly sure what kind of bread that was supposed to be, but it was improperly cooked and tasted very bitter. We were able to jazz it up with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar that was left on the table. I ordered the margarita pizza and was excited because of all the buzz around the pizza at Maria's. It was fine. It just wasn't the quality of pizza I was looking for. The sauce was fresh and had a great tomato flavor, but lacked any sort of spice of any kind. The crust was decent. It was probably the best part of the pizza. That cheese was a good flavor, but one bite and the whole cheese was coming off with the pizza into your mouth. The tomatoes were cut a little too thick so they didn't get quite cooked well enough on top of the pie. My friends marsala also lacked in flavor. The sauce was missing that delicious wine element and it was kind of on the bitter side. It wants to be marsala, but it's not. I have to give extra credits to the manager who came around and talked to us and took our critiques seriously. One thing we did forget to mention was that their booths are like sitting on the gym bleachers in high school and for any extended period of time they can become increasingly uncomfortable. I could see maybe how some people enjoyed Maria's, it just wasn't for us, so keep an open mind. Maybe Maria's is for you and maybe it's not but you have to give them a try to find out.

My grandfather is on hospice and is close to the ends while my mom and grandma have been taking care of him. On Mother's Day, we visited to help and had a pretty rough day. Before we left, we wanted to give my mom and grandma a nice meal for Mother's Day. We called in two ribeyes with potatoes, salad and bread. I did ask if they could take extra care of the order and explained our situation so they knew how important this meal was. Not only was the absolute perfection, they made sure we had extra bread and butter, not just a small piece for them to split. The attention to detail to make sure this important meal was able to transport and still be perfect was something that many restaurants don't do without a request, but you can tell that they give this level of detailed attention to every order. Inside the restaurant, we watched as they took the same level of care with every dish. This level of customer service alone is enough to warrant return business. The quality of the food is an added bonus at that point. 10/10 go here if you are in the area!

We tried Luca Italian Chophouse for dinner on Good Friday. Our stuffed banana pepper appetizer was excellent, with 3 large and moderately spicy peppers stuffed with sweet Italian sausage, served with a tomato sauce and topped with Ricotta. It was a very tasty appetizer. We split a small pizza for dinner. It was about 10" as specified with a fair amount of crust. The pizza crust was a little yeasty for my taste, but it was very good and I liked the crispy crust bottom. Toppings were generous and were of good quality. It was plenty for two people. Emboldened by the first two courses, we tried the cheesecake with caramel sauce for dessert. It turned out to be a small individual cheesecake about 4" in diameter topped with strawberries and caramel. It was OK but over priced at $14. The crust was too soft and flavorless although the cheesecake itself wasn't bad. The strawberries weren't of the best quality and should have been left off. The restaurant is definitely going for the upscale Italian feel and generally succeeds. Our server was friendly and very helpful, but was exceedingly slow. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised with Luca Italian Chophouse. It's definitely worth a try and we will probably eat there again the next time we're in the area. And by the way, the Easter Bunny was making its way down Main Street as we pulled out of the parking lot

This location appears to be shared with a dessert shop as well called Sandcastles Sweets and Treats that has ice cream and other sweet delights but I have only sampled my favorite Italian ice/slush treats here.
