The vehicle and specs in the screenshot were from their website. I initially found the vehicle in a post on another site link which led me to their official website, as seen in the picture. The initial post stated the (used) car was around $11,000, but I couldn't find the post a few days later, when I was able to make arrangements to travel the 30/45 minute drive to see the car. I physically called and spoke with Phil, who was unable to confirm the availability and pricing, but stated he would contact me back with the information via text- which he didn't. This resulted in text information phishing, requesting that I send my personal documents to him, despite not yet being provided with the requested information. Refer to screenshots of conversation. I refused to send copies of my license until I actually would agree to purchase a vehicle in person.... Still no price confirmation. The next day I received a call from a lady who confirmed the availability of the vehicle in question, but again couldn't confirm the price. She said she would have to call back again to confirm the price- which a little while later she did. She quoted me a price of over $19,500!! After speaking with my ''mechanic " we agreed to still make the travel up to see the vehicle and see if we could talk them back down to the price listed in the original posting of $11000. After making the 40min drive up, we were greeted by a young man who introduced himself pleasantly and chatted with my mechanic about his car. He showed us the car on the lot and my mechanic showed him the small print in their website post stating the car was listed as Best SUV under $15000, and asked him what the asking price was. Again, the sales person didn't know and had to go back inside to ask. A few minutes later he came out and quoted us over $23000!!!!! My mechanic contested and said we could get a new car for that price and the salesman got an attitude with a snarky "Bye then". Long story short- do NOT trust these people. Do NOT give them your personal information because they are Not operating an honest business nor do they demonstrate integrity. I found a better more reasonable option an hour later at another dealership which had prices posted on their vehicles and didn't make it up as they go. Buyer beware of Manderbach!

I purchased a fair condition high mileage American SUV from this dealership over two years ago on a…read morebuy-here-pay-here loan process. The loan was ten months long at $300 a month payments, split biweekly as were my pay periods. I had the lovely gift of family and my own dually noted financial efforts to help obtain the vehicle, maintain it, and make it to the finish line paying it off. After myself making exactly ten months of payments my loan was paid off as agreed. A title was mailed to me VERY promptly thereafter. I had one encounter during my loan where I was unable to pay. Not only did the dealership lend a deferral for 14 days and when I doubled up on my payment the next pay to square up they made sure I would not be strapped first before taking the money. YES, during my loan my vehicle broke down several times and it did take a couple tries before we could pinpoint some electrical issues with the vehicle (which have since been resolved) and it was annoying... but the vehicle is still running 248,000 miles later... I bought it with 200K hence the high-mileage intro earlier. Customer 1 Auto also offers a mechanic bay with newly staffed mechanics that know their stuff... This is the first vehicle I could say I actually had last long enough to have renewed the registration on, as an owner, twice. There are a lot of swindler car dealers looking to make a good deal fast to get their commission up, and then there's Customer 1 Auto. This is a local family ran business that's been there for many years with the same management. They have good intent to have good vehicles and good people working to make money selling cars and help people get into them. Best thing is to get your carfax so you know what you are getting, do your research and don't overspend. If they take the car back because you can't pay that's not their fault. MANY times people will say "this dirtb@g car dealership is a rip off" AND/OR "that car sucked anyway" but then they forgot to say how great the car was while they were driving it and not paying though.... Do your research online, pick your car, call for info, and see what they got to offer you.

Honestly after reviewing everyone else's reviews, I am so sorry to hear of the very negative…read moreexperience you all have had. We have experienced an issue with them when it comes to the pandemic and losing income. We were told by a person in customer service that we would get put on a reduced payment plan, and they never put us on one even after having our car for 2 years and only 2 prior missed payments. Both missed payments due to the pandemic. But that is the only issue we have ever had. This company has worked with us and if it were not for the incident mentioned above, I would have given them 5 stars. They are simple. If you miss a payment, CALL THEM BEFORE THEY CALL YOU!!! Make a payment arrangement and if you cannot keep that arrangement, CALL THEM BEFORE THE PAYMENT IS EXPECTED TO COME OUT and work something out. COMMUNICATION is the key to having a good relationship with them. Let's face it...Flagship is a subprime lender for those of us who have less than perfect credit. So use them until you can do better! I will have to also say that I would refer them to anyone else we know. They have been faithful to honor our past payment arrangements and they only start calling you when you are 30 days past due and when you don't honor your payment arrangements. They can get VERY OBNOXIOUS with their 50 calls a day from random numbers etc... But again, if you make your payment before your 30 day grace, and you stick to your arrangements, you will not have a problem. Sincerely, A current Flagship customer.

The csr couldn't give me the email address to their title department to so that I can email them the correct information regarding where my title should be sent to. One rep says a supervisor isn't available they will need to call you back in 72 hours and he disconnected the call. I spoke to another rep Angy, she took went through the entire motion as if she was writing down the correct address for the county in which my title should be sent to. When I asked her to repeat it back to me, she could not. This company is by far the worse. Evil workers for sure. They get you in acting like you're going to get a low interest rate on your car loans, they tell you interest rates from like 3.5% of 17% however they can't even tell you what criteria needs to be for what bracket of interest rates. I've never taken out a loan where they couldn't tell me what criteria you to meet to see if you even wanna do business with them. Technically you could have perfect credit and you can meet all the criteria and still get 17 percent interest rate if that's what they want to give you. It is a scam. Stay away from them. They lure you in on false pretense and then can't answer any questions which as a financial Institute they should be able to answer all questions. A car salesman could answer more questions about finance than their own financial institution can answer. They lost my business on that. Could've made a lot of money off my loan, I've been with the banks and their credit cards for over 15 years, I have a personal relationship with finance as well. So this leads me to believe that they have under trained staff. Ignorance is no excuse. For anyone who's reading this, in case you are unaware, as many people are, when they run your credit if you decide to not take out a loan with them, it will drop your credit by 20+ points. If you don't take the loan, it looks like you've got denied. Therefore them not being able to answer your questions properly could result in you dropping into a credit score bracket that you won't be able to get lower interest rates because they suckered you in. If you want to Bank with them, they aren't so bad they have benefits other banks don't have. But it comes the cost because there's only one location in the entire state of New Jersey.
