Deceitful, inattentive, lacking integrity,and poor customer service. This business treats people with dishonesty and disrespect. Buyers beware!! The vehicle and specs in the screenshot were from their website. I initially found the vehicle in a post on another site link which led me to their official website, as seen in the picture. The initial post stated the (used) car was around $11,000, but I couldn't find the post a few days later, when I was able to make arrangements to travel the 30/45 minute drive to see the car. I physically called and spoke with Phil, who was unable to confirm the availability and pricing, but stated he would contact me back with the information via text- which he didn't. This resulted in text information phishing, requesting that I send my personal documents to him, despite not yet being provided with the requested information. Refer to screenshots of conversation. I refused to send copies of my license until I actually would agree to purchase a vehicle in person.... Still no price confirmation. The next day I received a call from a lady who confirmed the availability of the vehicle in question, but again couldn't confirm the price. She said she would have to call back again to confirm the price- which a little while later she did. She quoted me a price of over $19,500!! After speaking with my ''mechanic " we agreed to still make the travel up to see the vehicle and see if we could talk them back down to the price listed in the original posting of $11000. After making the 40min drive up, we were greeted by a young man who introduced himself pleasantly and chatted with my mechanic about his car. He showed us the car on the lot and my mechanic showed him the small print in their website post stating the car was listed as Best SUV under $15000, and asked him what the asking price was. Again, the sales person didn't know and had to go back inside to ask. A few minutes later he came out and quoted us over $23000!!!!! My mechanic contested and said we could get a new car for that price and the salesman got an attitude with a snarky "Bye then". Long story short- do NOT trust these people. Do NOT give them your personal information because they are Not operating an honest business nor do they demonstrate integrity. I found a better more reasonable option an hour later at another dealership which had prices posted on their vehicles and didn't make it up as they go. Buyer beware of Manderbach! read more

Went to the fall Hershey RV show. Bought a 29 foot 2025 Winnebago Access Trailer. Next step, find a truck that would pull it. We went to the web and to 7 dealerships to find our tow vehicle. At Manderbach Ford we met and talked with Jonathan Ortitz. He actually talked to us about towing a vehicle (not our first trailer), and he actually sat in the truck and went over the settings. I can call him about a settings and he responds. Our new F150 pulls the trailer very well. Caught in the rain over the Susquehanna river and we drove without any sway. read more

Purchased a 2023 Ford Explorer King Ranch and even though I love the car, my experience with Manderbach Ford has been horrid. My salesman left, business manager left and I was dropped between the cracks. $67000 for a new vehicle and I had to arrange my own financing and when the vehicle arrived it took five days to prepare and even then it was missing a hitch, and cargo tray. When I went back to tell them they made me feel like I was a bother to them. This experience brought this veteran to tears. read more

We ended up working with bob keeney (commercial manager) but he treated us like family during our multiple visits with trying to juggle a newborn baby. Gave us a fair price on my trade (14 ford focus) and set us up with a brand new f-150, and couldnt be happier with our selection. Service department was quick, efficient and friendly. My boyfriend and I traded in both of our vehicles for a 2014 jeep grand Cherokee from Manderbach in October. Tim was our salesman and he was very nice. However, from day one when we drove off the lot we had issues with the vehicle. 12V plug not working, back up camera not working, heat on passenger side not working and I noticed some strange shifting when we left the lot. I had to go to manderbach to be serviced for the plug, back up camera and heat a total of 5 separate times from October to December. I will say they were very nice when I took the vehicle in for servicing all those times. However, They could never fix the back up camera and eventually they just sent me to the Outten jeep dealership down the road. Jeep diagnosed the camera issue in less than an hour and ordered the parts for it to be fixed on Manderbachs tab. That happened in December and and a month later now at the end of January, manderbach still hasn't approved it to be fixed or called me to come in and have it fixed, blaming jeep for parts being "back ordered". When I call and speak to the Jeep dealership myself they say they had the parts to fix it and they were still waiting on manderbach to approve it to be fixed. Over the 3 months we had it the shifting issues became worse and more noticeable. It would get "stuck" in a gear and rev really high while driving down the highway, smelled of something burning, and I could push the gas pedal to the floor and nothing would happen. When I brought the shifting issues to Jeff in services attention and asked about coming in for them to look at it and fix it, he told me to take it to the jeep dealership again to be diagnosed and fixed on my own time/tab. They wouldn't even let me come in for them to look at it, passing the buck to someone else to fix instead of taking responsibility themselves for selling me a vehicle in this condition. We had this jeep for 3.5 months and the transmission is going on it already. 3.5 months and manderbach knew about all these issues when we bought it and only fixed half of them and won't fix the rest of them. They assured us they did a full pre purchase inspection of the vehicle before selling it to us and all things were in working order. That was False. Many issues were noticed the day we bought it. It was really just the worst car buying experience I've ever dealt with and would not recommend Manderbach Ford of Hamburg to anyone. Today we traded in the broken heap of junk they sold us at the Outten Jeep dealership of Hamburg and our salesman there was phenomenal and went above and beyond for us, knowing how dirty Manderbach did us. Everyone at Jeep was flabbergasted that Manderbach would even sell us that vehicle in the condition it was in or how they "didn't know" about all the issues it had, or how they wouldn't take responsibility for the issues. read more

After purchasing our certified pre-owned truck last October and taking our truck in for regular service including just recently we had a not so good experience. Took the truck in for oil change and PA state inspection and the young lady working the service counter calls us out to drop a $2,000 bomb on us saying we need tires, rotors and breaks! I quickly paid for my service and half of my state inspection. Left and went elsewhere and won't be back. Only had the truck 8 months. read more

I purchased my car (2016 Ford Mustang GT, 10k miles) late on a Saturday Nov 26th from sales consultant Butch Heffner who was friendly and seems to be an honest person. Because my car was purchased close to the end of business they did not have time to get the vehicle cleaned up that day since that department had left for the day which was fine. I agreed that if I could take the car that day I would call back on Monday to set up an appointment to bring it back for the cleaning. I called and spoke with Butch Monday afternoon Nov 28th and asked if I could bring the car back that Saturday Dec 3rd and was told he would get back to me that Thursday and would mark it on his calendar. I have no idea why the appointment couldn't be confirmed on Monday when I called but I said ok. Thursday came and just before 8 PM I had to call and leave a voice mail as Butch never contacted me back. 5 minutes later I received a text message from him letting me know he left work early that day due to being sick and asked if I was able to bring the car in Saturday morning. Me personally having over 15 years of sales/customer service experience would have called my customer before I left that day or at least had another employee do it for me instead of leaving the customer to contact me. I called back on Friday to verify that I had a Saturday appointment and find out exactly what time was ok. In the end I was able to take my car in 1st thing Saturday morning Dec 3rd and the car was ready after only waiting roughly 45 minutes which pleased me until I saw the vehicle. The car had water marks on it from not being dried in detail and the wheels were obviously just sprayed down and not cleaned thoroughly as they still had a residue on them. The Manderbach Ford decal that the dealership puts on the rear was and currently still is crooked which I was told would be removed and put on correctly the night I bought the vehicle. The inside was vacuumed well but the dash, center console, and doors had fingerprint marks all over it. I've purchased many new and used vehicles in my time but I can honestly say this was the only one that I had to go home and detail myself right after the dealership supposedly did. If I had to do it all over again I would go to Manderbach Ford again but ONLY if they were the only dealership within 2 hours drive time that had the exact vehicle I was looking for. 2nd I will never take a car and sign all of the paperwork if it can't be properly cleaned up the same day because frankly after the day I bought the vehicle the customer service took a steep decline. This dealership was able to check all the marks on my car shopping list and do it for an amazing price and outstanding customer service . Connie was the girl I originally spoke with over the phone and she was the best. She knew I was coming far to see the car and let me know what I needed to know over the phone . Something that most car salesmen won't do . This was my 6th and last dealership I've been to on my long two month car search. When I arrive I was greeted by the one manager Austin who ended up doing the paper work with me and helped. Austin was also very kind, honest and considerate. Deshawn was the car salesmen that showed the car and helped get me set up. Deshawn was also just as helpful informative and friendly as Connie and Austin. I was able to make my purchase feeling like no one was trying to rip me off or pull any fast ones. As a young female buyer many places will try to take advantage and get the most money out of you but not here they were the best. My boyfriend is already planning on going back to them for his next vehicle due to my wonderful experience !
