I received a faulty softener unit in my home approx. 5 months ago. I didn't know it wasn't working,…read more but my dishes were still very cloudy and toilets the same so I called the company who sent someone out in the following few days. The tech was fine until I asked what the company could do for me as I was paying monthly for a non funtional unit for approx 3 -4 months. His answer was not what one would expect and I was humiliated so I wrote the office in April but received no response until I followed up in June. Katie was very responsive and told me all the reasons why my message was not dealt with in a timely fashion. She was able to care for my concerns and complaint in a matter of hours. Today Isaiah, a driver, called with in 10 min of arrival to my home as requested with the salt I needed. He was courteous, friendly and strong. This is not about bad mouthing Guthrie & Frey but rather the opposite. I didn't need to hear that I was the problem for the softener not functioning, nor that the messages weren't being tracked timely due to changes in software at the office. I just needed peace of mind and professionals to f/u with me. I will recommend this company in the future as they did what was needed in the end.

They have no online cancellation which is crazy. Had to call to cancel and they hung up so that they could continue to deliver. If you forget to put your bottles out they just give you more and they stack up. Then try to put 5 out and they give you 5 more and charge you extra. I finally had to dispute my credit card to get them to stop and that worked. I reported this also to the FTC for making it difficult to cancel.

Aaron took a quick look around, found the leak was the float switch on sump pump, told me the size, so I could let a plumber know & recommended a couple in the area. I actually found one exactly the same on Amazon & replaced it myself! If not for Aaron, I probably still would not know where this flood was coming from. He is a great asset to your company! I really appreciated him going above & beyond, when most contractors do what they come to do & they're out the door. It only took him a minute, but it saved me from more headaches & a lot of money.
